I really like Marilyn and she's become one of my favorite characters in Sinnoh. It would've been interesting if she had been one of Dawn's contest rivals. Overall, a really enjoyable episode.

No Pokemon's Self esteems were harmed during the making of this episode?

Well this one sure was interesting. Piplup got what he deserved for a while. And our heroes get winter outfits. Dawn's oughta have some damn dense fat on her legs to take on that much cold with STILL no cover there.

Oh well. Slightly OOT, I'm gonna try to record the next episode from my TV and upload it to Youtube on my channel early since Central gets it at 7:00 or so if I can get some TV Tuner or Video input card from Radioshack or somewhere.

It's feels like it's been forever since a new episode came on. I mean, it was only one week, but...

Anyways, Marilyn is awesome. Shellder is awesome, too. This was a nice goofy episode. It's always cool to see Brock get to do something. Dawn got her new Platinum clothes, so that's pretty neat. Can't wait for next week!

....Did anybody else think the music was unusually quiet today?

Most annoying CotD ever? At least Brock got to do something other than make food and comment on Ash's battles. My ELoT:

- Is it just me or is Brock looking shorter than normal?
- So, what, Raichu can't be cute?
- But yeah, Piplup ain't cute
- I hate this girl so much...and the episode's been going less than five minutes XD
- Meowth's kinda delusional, huh?
- I'm really glad that Brock's here to shout at her :D
- That Solar Beam charged pretty fast.
- Mime Jr. isn't cute? She needs a lobotomy.
- Super Brock to the rescue!
- "Bet the third one makes me sick?"
- Brock looks scary...
- You just know it's gonna be ugly...
- Shellder? It is kinda cute, actually...
- Ash and Brock look ridiculous. Dawn looks hot

It was quite wierd as Marilyn acted very differently than other Pokemon trainers. It was funny to see Brock exaggeratedly encouraging Croagunk.
Also, it should be nice to see the group with slightly different cloths for a few episodes.

I actually really liked Marilyn, I thought she was pretty funny.

- She doesn't find Piplup cute? YES.
- I actually like Cherubi's voice
- lol the crop means you see Giovanni's leg spinning XD
- Mime Jr isn't a cute Pokemon? FAIL. She's sounding like the Amity Square people with their weird standards...
- And Happiny *is* cute?? What.
- Urgh, after that Chingling episode, I really hate Chingling
- Shellder is cuter than Happiny, anyway
- Whoa, how long has Brock had Happiny and not had it in a battle? o.O
- Dawn's Platinum clothes look really pretty, I love red coats, but it's not gonna keep you warm D:

If by "anyone else" you meant me, yes! It was horribly quiet, I couldn't hear the track that was playing sometimes, so I'm not sure I've got all the tracks that were kept right :/ I wonder if they're going to keep it this quiet from now on :/ Which is pretty annoying since they eventually made it louder through Battle Dimension after being really quiet...

I actually enjoyed this episode. o_O Which I find strange, because when it started I figured I'd be too annoyed to like it. Marilyn was amusing, and I loved Brock in this one. xD;

Also, hurray for her bashing Pochama, I finally saw Cherubii animated <3, aaaand Shellder is so cute!
I've always liked that Pokemon, so I was happy to see it pop up again.

I was happy because i saw a shellder in the anime for the first time.

But that girl was just annoying......

Still i'm glad Piplup got offended, i mean, i'm glad it didn't evolve, but i still wanna kick it in the face

Yeah, and Candice also wears a short skirt in the water as well. I guess Sinnoh isn't that cold after all.

I want to see Ash battle Candice. It's been too long w/o fights since he fought Paul. He needs to keep up his strength.

That was a pretty adorable episode, I must say. Brock was such a hero <3

I'm glad we got to see Brock preaching the 'bond with your Pokemon' message this time. =3

That girl was pretty darn annoying, but omigosh her EYES! They were totally adorable! It's nice to see a cutesy character sometimes; we've had so many (dare I say it) normal looking characters. Marilyn was a good break from the norm.

One of my favorite episodes yet. I feel the same way as she did. I only use a pokemon if I feel as if its aethetically correct.

The part when she and Brock got all googly eyed freaked me out a little though.

For me the episode felt like an episode we would of watch in the earlier seasons of Pokemon. 9/10 good to see these episodes appear in the new season once in a while
