I might change the grass/ground, but that won't be anytime soon. Right now, I'm going to try and insert Glaceon and Leafeon and figure out how to extend the pokedex.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I have updated my screenshots to reflect the new graphics. Also, I have completed route 5, and I will begin creating Trayne Village which will be home to the EV Training Sector! I plan on creating new items that can change the IV's of your pokemon. Although, I have to learn how to do that first! I am excited to create the EV Training Sector, because there are a ton of new things to be put in. For example, the levels of the wild pokemon will be the same level as the highest level pokemon in your party.

Also, does anyone know how I can get rid of the poll question I have? It's irrelevant now, and it's annoying me.

What is an IV? I hear about it and see it in stuff like Shoddy Battle... but never knew what it was. And I like the idea of an EV training sector. Can you catch pokemon there though? Or are wild just to battle?

You will be able to catch Pokemon, too. You will have the option of choosing between one of 6 sets of pokemon to be in the wild: pokemon that give EV's in HP, Attack, Defense, Special Attack, Special Defense, or Speed. Also, there will be ways to view the exact EV's and IV's for each stat of your pokemon making it easy to customize them!

You have a lot of very interesting ideas that I've never seen before... "Gym Gardens" and now the IV and Trayne Valley?

Have you ever thought of making a franchise? Like make a new game after this where we can trade our pokemon from this game over? You can make a very hard beta and a normal beta...

The hard beta would take place with levels right have this...

So lets say that the Elite Four here is level 60s or something... then the next area would have gym leader and trainers starting at level 40 and have an Elite Four at level 80s or 100s.

But you can trade over your pokemon and also get the new pokemon, so it won't be impossible... especially if you trade over a pokemon with EXP SHARE or LUCKY EGG

I like to believe that my ideas are original! I think the whole IV manipulation idea isn't present in tons of hacks because that aspect isn't generally accepted in Pokemon games. Some people just like the IV's to be permanent, not changeable, but I enjoy customizing their stats!

I doubt the "franchise" you are speaking of will happen... I'm gonna build this hack one step at a time.

100% in support of an Eevee-starter hack. You have some really original ideas going on here.

Forgive me if I skimmed over something, but did you mention possibly adding fakemon? How many are you thinking of?

Yes, possibly. I would like to add Glaceon and Leafeon, which obviously aren't fakemon, and maybe about 10 fakemon. Originally, I wanted to accomplish this without erasing any existing pokemon, but I think I have changed my mind. Some Legends could be erased as well as some others, like Kecleon and Carnivine... For the fakemon, I want to add some of the concepts I've seen. Evolutions and pre-evolutions such as Kangaskhan's baby and a Sharpedo evolution to be specific. I also think it would be cool to add some new Eeveelutions! However, to pull all of that off, I need to find spriters, and they're hard to find!

tab you end up controlling the other character and have
limited movement and have to start your game all over if you save there


This happens when you open your bag close it then open it again
it keeps reappering even if you let a pokemon hold it

Thanks for playing the beta, and I'm glad you liked it!

I have fixed the first 2 bugs, and I knew about them before. I also knew about the Quick Claw bug, but I haven't addressed it yet. My guess is that I have something a bit screwy in the script when you receive it. If there is nothing wrong with the "giveitem" command, then I have no idea how to fix it. As for the tree tiles in the water, they are just temporarily there. Once I map that route to the south, the trees will be gone!

this is awesome, if i had a better computer i would help,but..... anyway great hack thankyou for adding my fav pokemon as the starter and i love ur ideas they are awesome i will be checkin in on this hack alot i got a bunch of other ideas for this hack 2 if ur interested.. keep up the good work man

I'm open to new ideas!

On another note, I think the next beta will be out within 2 weeks. It will be up through the 2nd gym, and the EV training sector will be fully functioning.

Hey are you going to change Eevee so he is a better starter type? The stones to evolve are nice but the Eevee itself is kind of weak

Nope. I want the player to use one of the 5 stones on it I have made changes to attacks learned for EEVEE and it's evolution, though. Also, they all gain experience at the same rate as the charmander, bulbasaur and squirtle to make eevee and its evolutions easier to train.

Of course! However, the daycare where you will be able to breed pokemon won't come until Epitall City, which is the next one after Trayne Village. It won't be included in the next beta, but it will be included in beta 3.0.

Okay then I have no problem and this will be fine lol. I always thought you'd need the Eevee in order to breed which was why I was disappointed. Since I do not have an Eevee anymore
