Hmm, I must sez, dis is lookng pretty good. I like how you used Emerald as a base, I love tha Emerald engne even though it is very similar ta tha R/S one. Tha Graphics is lookng fabulous, and tha scripts is funky ass tao. I will have ta play dis when I have free time, it looks like a very nterestng gbee. Good job, and good luck fo tha future!

Dis is probably tha most promisng GSC remake that I've ever seen.

Tha problem is - it's tao late. We've gots HGSS. Tha era of remakes is over.

Yay at usng Emerald as tha base, it's gots everythng that FRLG has plus tha PokeNav. It's a really good choice.

But those maps from Platnum/Palladium Project is bored and tired from every side. Seeng tham gits me annoyed, it's like I'm lookng at tha sbee spheal all tha time.

I sez - don't be afraid of importng some stuff of HGSS. Some elements of HGSS is really fne ta be used n a GBA remake (like Rocket Executives, thay really need thair nbees and sprites [you may want ta make Archer and Ariana more similar ta thair GSC counterparts, though]).

Also, what I'd love ta see is ta see HGSS-like Johta tilesets but n FRLG style. And I'm not rapng bout those DS-imitatng tilesets, as thay're mostly ugly and annoyng. I'm sezng that it'd be possible ta make HGSS-based tilesets but n GBA style, witout mimickng tha pseudo-3D graphics.

After 12 years of ben a Pokemon fan, I'm officially quittng. Dis is not a rage quit and it has nothng ta do wit tha Pokemon franchise. It's also NOT a sudden decision - I've planned it fo months but I decided ta stay a true, active Pokemon fan until tha very last day. Tha reason fo mah leave is tha fact that I'm startng mah studies at tha Uni and I decided that it's a perfect moment ta move on wit mah life. I'll never fogit all thase off tha hook years and Pokemon will always be a part of mah childhood memories. Goodbye friends! Thank you.

What does that have ta do wit anythng?
Just coz thare has been buggine official Remakes, doesen't mean that you should give up on makng some new one.
Even though thare has been buggine R/B/G remakes, thay still keep poppng n.

I cbee up wit a cool idea. You should implement all tha beta stuff thay never had n tha fnals- Music, Safari Zone, and such. Fnd some here, here, and here.

and question, will u make tha date system ? and tha days tao?
coz thare's some specific events happen on certan day (like wednesday, a homey appear outside goldenrod city offerng flbeethrower, thunderbolt and ice bebe wit con as payment)
and tha national park event tao...

Hmm...

I appreciate yo dedication and I love yo work thus far.
Tha beta is quite enjoyable.

Mah dawg concern is that it doesn't offer much beyond tha usual remake of G/S.
I mean, Shny Gold was a Gold Remake wit a few bits here and thare.
Crystal Shards was a G/S/C remake wit lots of extras thrown n.

Thare's othar remakes out thare that also offer a complete recreation of G/S.

Mah dawg concern is that it's just G/S wit better graphics wit tha possible addition of tha Sevii Islands (which is off tha hook).
Which is what HG/SS gave us. Not entirely a complete recreation but it gave us G/S wit better graphics and one or two new features.

Neverthaless, I will contnue ta play dis when you release furthar betas/tha full gbee.

I've played yo spheal up ta tha first cave(Ran nta a glitch). So, I guess I should give you a review.





Thngs I liked
  • Tha fact that tha door n Bellsprout Tawer was animated.
  • How closely everythng is matched ta tha orignal G/S/C
  • Tha scripts is very well done.
  • Hoenn Pokemon n tha grass. <3
Thngs I disliked
  • Tha Night palletes, you can edit tham n tha D/N taol you're usng.
  • Tha high encounter rate fo Pidgeys. Almost every. Sngle. One. Was a Pidgey.
  • No night pokemon(I'm sure you'll fix dis.)

  • And now, tha one that stapped me from playng furthar. Dis glitch switched me wit tha nurse from tha PokeCenter befoe tha cave that lnks Violet ta Azalea(Spellng?) Tawn. As n, I'm behnd tha counter wit a discolored sprite, and mah orignal sprite is on tha othar side of tha counter. Also, note that pressng start and lookng at yo Pokemon will revert yo sprite back ta tha orignal, but you'll still be behnd tha counter. I've takesn screenies of both.

  • Sometimes, when enterng a buildng at night, tha pallete switches ta day fo a brief moment than reverts.
Now, I'm completely sure you can fix tha first one. However, I have no idea as ta how ta fix tha second. But, you're Diego. You can probably do it.




Suggestions
  • Change tha Night part of tha D/N System. I feel as if it's just a tiiiny bit tao bright.
  • Lower tha Pidgey encounter rate. Thay drove me nsane. xD
  • Tha first route, tha buildng that leads ta tha route that connects Blackthorn City wit tha first route, can you do somethng bout tha Pokemon thare? I went n expectng a lvl 3 Geodude or somethng and caught a level 13 Marill by accident. o_O (Sorry I'm not givng specific Route nbees. I can't remember tham.)
  • N Bellsprout Tawer, could you slightly darken tha pallete ta tha floor tile? It seems tao bright ta me.
  • If it's possible, could you make it so music changes wit night and day? Like, normal music durng tha day and knd of slower, softer music at night? I thnk it'd be a funky ass little feature ta make dis spheal knd of more unique.

  • Loads of thugz is sezng that dis is pontless coz we already have G/S/C remakes. However, HG/SS is gbees I didn't particularly like. Thay didn't give me tha sbee nostalgic feel I seemed ta have while I played dis. I thank you fo brngng back mah childhood memories of playng dis gbee outside on tha porch on mah Gbeeboi color until tha sun set and I had ta go nside and play wit regular lights. Or tha memory of mah pisnts rolln ta Connecticut and I buggine tham buy a flashlight so I could play mah Gold version at night. Don't give up Diego. Make dis better than HG/SS. I know you can do it.
