Blackluster Soldier is banned. Has been for years and will never EVER come back.

Black Luster Soldier? Not extremely broken; however it's very, very powerful. Its presence caused Chaos decks to dominate the metagame for a year or two, and it was finally banned. It was because of this that Chaos Sorcerer was banned as well for a time (Chaos decks dominating the game, rather).

Nah, not really. A card that trumps it would have to be this:

Spoiler:

There, that does the job better :D

No, Mirror Force destroys all attacking monsters. Useful, a bit, but nothing compared to this:

Spoiler:

Doesn't have a wide area, true, can be countered, also true, but this removes from play, aka your opponent's monster is probably not coming back.

Well actually, its quite a hard beast to counter, and is amazingly good. Though Mirror Force destroys all, D-Prison removes a monster, and counters Stardust, but its not brilliantly versatile though.

Although it is only for Zombies, it is very useful.
Spoiler:

I love removing Stardust Dragon from play when its effect has been activated. I have messed up so many peoples plans with just this one card.

Dear God.

This card...

My God.

Tech Genus Halbred Cannon

1 Tuner Synchro Monster + 2 or more non-Tuner Synchro Monsters
This card cannot be Special Summoned except by Synchro Summon. Once per turn, you can negate the Summon of a monster, and destroy it. When this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard, you can select 1 "Tech Genus" monster in your Graveyard, and Special Summon it.

What is this I don't even

Very good, because the Tech Genus archetype has some excellent stuff in general (Hyper Librarian, much... Recipro Dragonfly, much...), but definitely not game-breaking or unstoppable.

Dimensional Prison? Bottomless Trap Hole? ... gg.

Ok, it can be Bottemless'ed and all that, but Christ. A 4000 that can negate a summon? That is pretty God damn good. And it doesn't even matter that you need 3 monsters. With the likes of Glow-up bulb easily being brought out with only 1*.

Easy.

Correction. You need 3 SYNCHRO monsters. That is SIX monsters (at least!). Very difficult to Synchro for if your deck isn't built for it therefore.

It is not easy. Something like Hyper Librarian + 5-star + Formula Synchron or Hyper Librarian + Wonder Magician + Recipro Dragonfly is viable, but with Hyper Librarian's superbroke-ness likely to be gone very soon (next banlist)...

To sum it up, this card is good, but only in a dedicated deck. It isn't easy to get out at all unless you build around it and Hyper Librarian.

Spoiler:

I will never forget the time Mist Wurm cleared out two Stardusts and a Goyo before attacking directly to win.

I find my Dandywarrior/Plant/Lockdown/Whatever deck can't get him out very consistently though.

I like Brionac a bit better, for the sheer fact that he's easier to summon, but this card's awesome too.

I have won matches thanks to Mist Worm. It is useful in a tight spot, or even just for the home run.

My favourite deck is a ZombieSworn, so I can easily syncro it.

Mist Wurm is a card used very often in the finishing turn for its field-clearing capabilities...

That is all. Of course it is decent.

Yes, you already have.

How much of a life saver is this card?

Activate only when you take Battle Damage while you control no monsters. Gain Life Points equal to the Battle Damage you took, and Special Summon 1 "Malus Token" (Fiend-Type/DARK/Level 1/ATK ?/DEF ?). Its ATK and DEF are each equal to the amount of Life Points you gained by this effect.

It is out in the next pack.

Apple of Frigg is lame because it's a Trap card. If it were a monster then it would be amazing (Gorz-like...) but it's not. : \ The token is highly irrelevant (Brionac blows it up) and it's Cold Wave / Trunade - able.

I've tested it before... it's not much good.

Actually... Atomic Scrap Dragon is the one Scrap Synchro monster I will never, ever run. Helping your opponent recycle cards for free is usually horrible, and thus its effect is only situationally good. Furthermore, it's not easy to Synchro for (not something like Golem + Beast or Golem + Goblin or whatever; no, you don't want to ever run Scrap Soldier). It's not a very good fit in Scrap decks, which have fairly tight Extra Deck spaces as it is (what with triple Scrap Dragon and typically double Scrap Twin being mandatory).
