Is it ok to use pre-trained Pokemon in this challenge, or do I have to catch and train the Pokemon within the game I'm playing on? Because I've got an epic lvl 37 EV trained Shiny scizor, but don't know whether I can use it or not. Plus the first post doesn't say anything about HM slaves, what is the policy on these? None of my assigned team can surf, so I don't know what to do.

My name is Gold and this is how my pokemon journey began.

Started game. Hit enter on name select. Hello, my name is GOLD. Picked Cyndaquil. Did the stuff for Elm. Rival ended up with default hit-enter key name as well "SILVER"

Hacked in Ledyba (Silver Exclusive)
Hacked in Chansey (Not available till Kanto and I REQUIRE a 2nd pokemon at this point. Stupid Falkner's flying types.)

Current Party:
Ledyba LV 2
Chansey LV3
Cyndaquil LV 9 (Only here for Ledyba & Chansey to switch train level up. going for about LV 8 each on wild pokemon)

Status Update #1:

I started the game on Heartgold, and named myself Pr0. After a bunch of talking, I picked Chikorita as my starter, and then promptly caught two Hoothoot's. I named one the 'The Word' and traded the other along with my starter to my Platinum for a Lvl 1 Onix and my Lvl 39 Scizor named "Ringo" who I then put into the PC, to be used for later. (As soon as I find out if I'm allowed) Right now I'm training The Word and Snaek (the onix) and preparing to own that guy with the birds.

I can only hack two into the game, but there are three pokemon there, 2x Pidgeot and Arbok, that I cannot capture in the game...

Oh sorry, then switch Arbok out for Camerupt :D

And First Update!

Started Game.
Named myself Nickel.
Did start of game stuff.
Rescued Prof. Birch w/ Oddish
Nicknamed my Oddish Seifer. (I'm doing a Final Fantasy Theme)
Battled May and won.
Got my Pokedex and Poke Balls
Caught a Zigzagoon on Route 101, nicknamed it Vanille.
Caught a Miltank on Route 102, nicknamed it Garnet.
Began to level grind.
Got bored, saved, and quit.

So... I just kinda sat there and played for a bit... lots of news.

Owned Falkner with Chansey
Owned Team Rocket after Chansey pounded them all to death
Owned Bugsy with Chansey
Owned Whittney with Ledian after I taught her Thunder Punch, Ice Punch and Headbutt.
Blissey evolved in the park beating on one of the weak trainers there.
Owned Morty after 1HKOing his Haunters with Ice Punch, his Hypnosis failed on Ledian 3 times in a row. I was laughing.
Got surf.
Caught a krabby to surf with until I found a Mantine.

Ice Punch

Supersonic
