After the battle you need to find paras in one of the trees
You need to go to the marriage and help james escape in the james mission
You cant do the bulbasaur mission
You need to go to the store where you first started the paras battle to buy a berry or juice for jigglypuff then it can sing again.
The grass at the end is the end of the beta. It will be updated at a later time i guess

You go in one of the houses that has jesse james the parents and jessebel in.

You talk to James first who asks you to help, Then you talk to Jessebel and you battle her. Then i'm assuming your done and then when you leave the house says something like thank you Growlithe then James escapes. I can't quite remember done it a while ago.

I only have one complain-ish for it so far.

The game pretty much skips the whole "Lose to Surge, then have Pika refuse evolution thing", which is one of the more important things in the anime.

Also, as far as Brutella and the banned epsode goes, is there anything to do in that one?

The game is great Metapod 23 but the main problem is that u can't save the game like with normal fire red. U have to save state. That isn't much of a problem but when u then load the state the music is kinda mixed up. I saw the progress u made up till know and I was wondering if u could do something about the saving?

But all in all great hack! Keep it up! U have my support!

Patch a clean Fire Red ROM with IPS XP, Lunar ips or something like that

Its not so much hard as it is time consuming. If you know the basics about Mapping and Scripting you can pick up the rest along the way from tutorials or experience from fellow hackers.

I would never attempt a hack, I have the knowledge. But no where near the time.

Change the save type to flash 128K, i think that should fix it. If that doesn't work you could have patched it to a bugged fire red rom.

Please excuse my ignorance in the matter, but I just started playing pokemon on an emulator a couple of days ago. I really want to play this game, but I can't quite figure out how to use the ips XP combiner thing. I downloaded it, selected the first file as pokemon firered, selected the second file as the Ashgray 2.5 patch, and then applied it. It says that it is done applying, but I can't access the newly combined file to play.

Please help, and thanks in advance

This walked me through it... great hack, the game is wonderful so far!

what i do is use IPSWin 2.0 and just open it, select the two files and say patch. the new patched game will be the original rom.
