Ermh! Oh hello my name is Professor Alzinnith Ulford the best Pokémon scientist in all of Nilivon. I’d love to tell you all the things you’ll need to know but first let’s get some things down.



Rating: Your Pokémon Adventure is rated PG-16 which means a little bit of profanity and romance like making out and some blood nothing to the extreme please! You will be warned at first then sadly I must kick you out and give your spot to someone else

All of PC’s rules apply there so go read up on them if you don’t know. I have some of my own things I want to say. Also this is a serious Rp so bring your all.

1) No use of profanity to call someone or something a name NCP or otherwise


2) I shall be the one who says if you catch a Pokémon or not so wait for my verdict


3) PLEASE! PLEASE! Be active, you won’t have to worry about me I’ll be on A LOT! Like 24/7 365 so before you join please make sure you’ll be active I don’t want this to die off. Don’t join if you know you won’t be very active sorry if I sound harsh I just really want to make this rp strive and become awesome. I can’t stress this enough


4) I love to read so let’s not make one liner post let’s make them at least 4 medium sized paragraphs minimum the better the post the happier I’ll be and you’ll get rewarded.


5) Legendary Pokémon will be heavily involved in this RP but no one is allowed to go randomly try to catch one if there is a situation and a legendary just so happens to be there you can try to capture it but I will only let you if it’s a well typed up battle and is believable. Legendary Pokémon aren’t push-over’s so you probably won’t even catch it


6) No fighting over starter Pokémon its first come first serve and you’ll probably see it in the wild somewhere.



7) I Will post in chapters so I’ll post what the area is like and what’s happening like any special event and catchable Pokémon.



8) No God moding or bunnying.



9) Some NCP’s I’ll post what they’ll say but you can control their actions, but this only applies to some.



10) Your Pokémon will level depending on how well your battle post is and I’ll tell you when they’re ready to evolve. The better the post the more level.


11) No one hit KOs no Pokémon is that weak even if it’s a super effective hit.


12) There’s an option for being a Pokémon ranger so I’ll post what mission are available in chapter post.


13) There will be theme music for a place or a person so look out for those I will have an archive in the OOC thread!

Battle and Catch System:

1) No one hit KOs please

2) A catch well be determined by me the better the fight post the more likely you will catch it. This will also come into play when fighting a wild pokemon and not catching the better the post the greater the EXP (You will learn moves and evolve depending on when the pokemon does in the games)

3) You gain EXP every battle post whether you lose ore win.

4) While posting about fighting a wild pokemon and you want to catch it end it like this: Bill tossed the pokeball at the Pidove as it went inside in a flash of red the ball began to shake. Then wait for me to post whether or not you caught the pokemon.

5) This RP is game based so you will only be able to carry six pokemon if you get more than that they will be transferred to Professor Alzinnith's lab where he will take care of them until you call for them via the PC.

6) Also each pokemon will only have up to four moves

7) Two Rpers can trade pokemon if they want

8) In a battle between two Rpers they can decided who wins or you can come to me and I'll pick the winner randomly.

9) No godmoding during a fight if you have an inexperienced Snivy there's no way it could beat an experienced Rhydon please be realistic.

10) No controlling another Rpers pokemon without their permission this also effects important NCPs I'll be controlling them.

11)Pokemon abilities will work the same way the do in the game so for example Pidgey's keen eye if a Pidgey gets hit with a move like sand-attack it will have no effect

Pokémon Nilivon Region: The Grand Battle Plot:

Oh is he done boring you with the rules? He is well then good let’s begin. Welcome to the Nilivon Region which is located somewhat near Unova, now let me give you some background information. Nilivon its self is a continent connected to Unova by a bridge called the Great Connection. All sorts of Pokémon from Pikachu to Hydreigon live here. Nilivon is a new region unexplored by many trainers and is more than ready for a flourish of people to come. I myself have been working with the native people of Nilivon to get our own Pokémon league working. There places like colossal cities such as Grandnal City to small towns like Viven town where my Pokémon laboratory is located. Nilivon holds large fields and vast oceans and deep jungles and forests with Pokémon booming in all of them. The gym leaders here are the strongest out of most of the regions 2nd only to Unova’s. The elite four has remained undefeated every challenger that comes to the elite four has lost to the first members first Pokémon. Well I hope that will change when you get ready to fight them. We also have our own nurse joys located at every Pokémon center sounds useful right?!



Anyway let’s get back to the story. Strangely though many legendary Pokémon have been spotted in Nilivon for some unknown reason. People have spotted strange legendaries like Mewtwo, Deoxys, Genesect, Palkia, Dialga, Girantina, Zekrom, Reshiram and the strangest of all Arceus. No one knows why they’re roaming around Nilivon it even babbles me and I’m a great professor!



This has attracted the Pokémon rangers to make their own HQ in a city called Kenrith, where they train new recruits to become a Pokémon ranger. Just like every region Nilivon has its own crime syndicate called Team Paradox and boy this guys don’t play around! They’ve been known to abuse Pokémon, kill people and steal. One incident they even attacked Kenrith city to destroy the Pokémon Ranger HQ so my advice is to stay away from them. It seems like I’ve been babbling and going off subject so let me tell you what you’re doing here. You’re a up and coming Pokémon trainer or Pokémon ranger coming to the Nilivon Region to come to my lab to get your first Pokémon or going to Kenrith city to be trained to become a Pokémon ranger. Your goal as a trainer is to beat the Nilivon league. Your goal as a Pokémon ranger is to find out what team Paradox is up to.

Pokémon Rangers:
Attention! This is Pokémon ranger director Jayrol Kayrix and I’m in charge in choosing who becomes a Pokémon ranger and who goes home. We as Pokémon ranger are here in the Nilivon region to investigate the sudden appearance of legendary Pokémon and to deal with Team paradox. I won’t lie you might not make it Team paradox is ruthless and we as Pokémon rangers must train you in becoming just as skillful. We do not under any circumstances kill any living thing Team paradox or other! You will get one Pokémon partner, a ranger uniform, a capture styler and an Xtransceiver. Get ready for some tough training cadet!

Team Paradox:
Hello my name is Luke a Pokémon ranger who has been working undercover in Team Paradox so I’ll tell you everything I know. Unlike the other crime syndicates who are joined together in one Team Paradox is split into three types of groups. There is the Yin side, which are the cool calm and collected side and are usually less violent and organized, they wear white suits with black ties and white fedoras with a black stripes. There is the Yang side, which are the extremely violent, unorganized and crazy ones and wear black suits and fedora with a white tie and a white strip on the fedora. Finally there is the Yin-Yang side that gives orders to the yin and yang sides and takes orders from the leader. They were black and white suites with everything from their shoes to fedora black and white. Their leader is named Garzel which no one outside of the Yin-Yang group gets to talk to. I don’t even know his name. All I know is he’s possible the strongest Pokémon trainer ever and has a son named Kenji who is the 7th gym leader. As professor Alzinnith has already said the terrible things about team Paradox I suggest you stay away from them and let the Pokémon rangers and the Pokémon police deal with them.

Notable places in Nilivon:

Viven town: A small little town with trees as its natural fence Pokémon roaming about and professor Alzinnith’s lab in the middle.

Kenrith City: A large city with Pokémon rangers coming in and out. There’s a gym located here along with many department stores and hotels, large buildings and some amusement park rides like roll coasters and Ferris wheels sounds fun!

Grandnal City: A huge city and when I say huge I mean it there are countless reports of people getting lost here. It’s a busy city with people running through the streets going to different jobs. Little street markets here and there and even street performers. Stores at every corner and lots of restaurants and even a gym too Grandal is filled with life and excitment

Grand Cataclysm Tower: A large tower in Nilivon that used to stand tall but after many years it has just suddenly disappeared. No one has found yet there is rumor that it’s in the center of Nilivon or hidden in Viven town. It is said that extremely strong Pokémon live here and even legendaries rest here while they are in Nilivon.

Paradox harbor: This place belongs to team paradox but strangely there is no sign of paradox activity. Ships come in and out the harbor dropping of supplies that only team paradox knows of. The place is dark and cold no one really comes here.

Age: 15
Personality: Relnith, out-going, laid back, mouthy and overall annoying can describe him. He’s very laid back and keeps his cool in any situation. He loves to mouth off to people of authority and loves to get into trouble. Relnith is very adventurous and often goes off and does something stupid and dangerous. People say he’s a calm devil because one moment he’s quiet and peaceful the next loud mouthed and hectic. His family usually sees the calm side of Relnith since he doesn’t want to get into trouble all the time being his usual self. He likes to crack jokes around people and likes to provoke his opponents when it comes to Pokémon battling or just to tick them off. Relnith doesn’t really have a lot of friends but the ones he has love him for his outgoing never give up attitude.

Relnith is very hard headed and doesn’t know when to give up. He loves to go into situations that look very grim and the odds are put against him. He likes to go outside and watch Pokémon or lie on the ground and watch the clouds go by. He loves to listen to music and read books. His quite intelligent but most people don’t see that side of him. He can solve puzzles easily and get out of any situation fast. Besides his vast intelligence Relnith likes to get into fights he feels a person should keep their body fit as well as their mind.

Around strangers Relnith might not even say a word he becomes a statue. He also gets very shy around a girl he likes and begins to stutter and choke up when he talks to her. Relnith isn’t really good at expressing how he feels and will do anything to change the subject. He’s actually a really nice guy and will help anyone in need. He hates anyone who is evil and mistreats others and Pokémon. Relnith hates Team Paradox with all his heart and has a good reason too. One goal in his life is to become the strongest Pokémon trainer ever!

Appearance: Dark blood red somewhat short hair, dark orange eyes and a large painful looking scar across his face from one side of his nose to the other. Relnith doesn’t really obsesses over his looks but does caring around a small black comb to take care of his hair. His dark blood red hair is swayed to the right and usually looks neat and “emoish” as he’s been told. Sometimes the bangs of his hair cover his left eye which sometimes he flips so he can see well. His hair has been called “sexy” and girls that he has meet love to run their fingers through it for some odd reason he doesn’t understand it’s just hair to him. His hair comes down to the end of his next and dangles off the side of his face some.

His dark orange eyes seem to be glowing with adventure and fun. His eyes have been called “dreamy” and people sometimes just stare into them for some odd reason. One time a girl around his age stared at him for at least an hour before Relnith said something. Sometimes though his eyes look very sad and empty as if he’s very lonely and needs someone to ask him what’s wrong. Relnith at a glance looks very skinny and weak but is actually very strong and has a built body. His body is quite muscular and can perform any type of physical activity from climbing to doing flips.

Relnith wears his two favorite colors black and red. He wears a jet black long sleeved coat over a blood red somewhat tight T-shirt. At times depending on the weather he puts his coat inside his black backpack he carries around with him that has a skull on it. His jet black pants are slim but everyone swears they’re skinny and his sneakers are blood red with black stripes. He wears a black belt with a skull belt buckle with a mouth that opens and closes. Relnith also wears black fingerless gloves with skulls on it.

History: Relnith is from Viven Town in the Nilivon Region. Relnith’s parents were both Pokémon trainers before he was born. His dad was a gym leader and his mother part of the Pokémon Rangers but they retired to take care of Relnith. His father almost beat the first Pokémon league member’s first Pokémon but lost. His mother was a high ranking Pokémon ranger the rank of commander. Relnith’s dad thought him how to take care of Pokémon with the help of his Haxorus Dex. Relnith learned a lot from his father for example on to train a Pokémon properly and how to Pokémon battle strategies and how to win. His mother taught him how to take care of Pokémon like what to feed them and how to take care of them if any got sick. Anything else Relnith needed to know he read in books his parents kept lying around. Relnith would spend the rest of his time outside with his friends Jay and Valerie goofing around. The three we inseparable and spent all their time together and it was hard for their parents to separate them.

When the three turned 13 they sadly were separated. Jay went to become a Pokémon Ranger and Valerie wanted to become a gym leader so she left on her own journey leaving Relnith behind. On his 14th birthday Relnith’s father had died while visiting a friend in Grandnal City. His father was on his way home when a Team Paradox sneaked up on him and murdered him. People don’t know why they attacked him but it’s said that the leader himself took care of him and that Relnith’s father knew something. This devastated Relnith and his mother, he was suppose to go off on his Pokémon journey to catch up to Valerie but he lost his Pokémon loving spirit and stayed home for awhile.

On his 15th birthday his mom had decided that it was time for Relnith to go on his journey. Reluctant at first Relnith didn’t want to go on his journey but his mom talked him into it. He had made a promise to himself, his mom and his dad to become the greatest Pokémon trainer ever and avenge his father’s death and figure out why they attacked him. Sometimes Relnith still wants to go back come but he made a promise and he’s sticking to it.

Name: (Trainer) Kylar Hamilton

Age: 17

Personality:

Kylar is a man of passion and vigor. The things he cares about, he cares about deeply and holds a vested interest in. However, contrary to what many would believe when looking at him, his interests do not lie in sports, fighting, or military work, but instead academia. He is a man of exceedingly bookish tastes, and is not in the least ashamed to express his joy and adulation for the great authors that act as friends, carpeting his shelf space with their prose.

Despite his literary fervor, he is not an introvert in the slightest. Rather, Kylar is a man who enjoys professing his opinions on current events and various theories of the contemporaneous authors of the moment. His vocal nature extends beyond literature and essays into the realm of politics, where he is truly at home. Nowhere is Kylar more at home than in the socialist musings of Leon Trotsky, or the nation-saving philosophies of Franklin Delano Roosevelt (unless they don’t exist in your RP in which case, he likes Pokemon Creators X and Y xP). In fact, his political passions have landed him in hot water in the past, as he often does not know when to shut up and carry on preaching more than the Pope himself.

Whenever his nose is extricated from a biography or essay however, Kylar does enjoy to attend parties. He’s hardly a juvenile delinquent, but he doesn’t mind screwing around with his friends on Saturday night and drinking a cold one, or two, or ten. It is at these times when he is the most relaxed in front of people, boisterous and quick with a laugh, but slow to judge. Unfortunately, when he is removed from these situations of comfort or stuck at home without his friends, Kylar can begin to brood and become a bitter, angry person. He has a poor relationship with his single father, and it has in some ways turned him away from comfortable social interaction at home. His house is a toxic environment to Kylar and one he cannot wait to leave, whether it be for a journey or just an escape.

Appearance:

Standing at 6’2” and weighing in at 215 lbs., Kylar can tend to stand out in a crowd. His light-brown hair, shaped by the same barber his entire life, clings tight to his head once the clippers do their work. The young man’s face tends to hold the same modesty in appearance, looking nothing more than plain, at least in Kylar’s opinion. Thick, but well-maintained, eyebrows arch over his relatively large eyes. These eyes sparkle a deep green color, the same emerald shade of his father’s eyes. A robust, yet appropriately proportioned nose adorns Kylar’s face, set over full lips and a strong jawline. These facial features can sometimes be the only parts indicative of Kylar’s emotion, whether it be a jaw jutting out in anger or eyes drooping in despair, his face can be read like a book. A book that those close to him read often and easily.

Wide shoulders and a broad chest define Kylar’s frame, giving him the athlete’s body that he wants no part in. Yet, much to the teenager’s chagrin, his father’s incessant demands of exercise and fitness have led him to possess a muscular frame. His muscles are well-defined, yet they do not burst out of his clothes like those of people more passionate about their body image. Kylar looks more the part of a soccer player or swimmer, lean muscle and a slim waist, than a body builder strapped with bulging biceps.

Kylar’s wardrobe is a simple one, consisting of t-shirts and jeans in the colder months and jeans and cargo shorts in the warmer periods of the year. The only thing that interrupts this cycle is exercise, (which has simply become force of habit at this point) when he dons a tank top and basketball shorts or If the weather is extreme, when he’ll throw on a hoodie or coat. In classes, Kylar will wear a pair of simple, rectangular glasses, but when out with friends or at a party, he’ll shed the spectacles for contacts.

History:

Born in Opelucid City of Unova, the final stop for powerful trainers before Victory Road, Kylar has grown up witnessing countless powerful Pokemon trainers, both home-grown Dragon-type masters and aspiring league champions, finish their quest for badges. Kylar’s father, Michael, used to be one of these high-flying trainers, burning the ground with intensity as he strove for his final badge. However, Michael seemed to hit a wall in Opelucid Gym; he could never vanquish Drayden, his final opponent before challenging the true greats. Years passed, and still nothing Michael did allowed him to succeed. As this shame festered and grew, Kylar’s father sought ways of escape. At first, he turned to love, marrying a pretty young coordinator named Shannon who caught his eye. But when she died and left him with only Kylar, Michael became much bitterer and hit the bottle hard, while his son was raised by grandparents. Finally, he turned to the military, hoping to either wash away his sorrow and pain, or gain absolution through fire. 5 years of military service left him a changed man; his wound still festered within, but on the outside, he was competent, organized, and commanding. Kylar was soon returned to the custody of his father.

As the years went by, Michael stayed bitter, pushing Kylar to succeed where he couldn’t. He tried to make him stronger, forcing exercise every morning and evening; he tried to make him smarter, forcing literature down his throat on uninteresting mathematics and science; and he tried to make him a more competent battler, throwing Kylar onto the field to learn or lose. And losing was not an option. Kylar grew to hate his father, resenting everything he represented. The hard, bitter man pushed his last legacy on Earth, his son, away from him.

Kylar has since decided to become a trainer even better than his father, and conquer the new Nilivon region to spite his father, achieving what he never could. Kylar has had some minor experience working with his father’s Pokemon and training with other adults around the town.

Name: (Pokemon Trainer) Russell Francis

Age: 15

Personality : In one word rebellious. Russell always lived his life breaking the rules but despite being called a badboy or a rebel one would have to commend him on his never say die attitude. Russell tries his best to make the best out of each situation. He's one of those people who never back down if you told him he couldn't do it he would try and try until he succeeded. To tell the truth Russell just wants to life his live without fear and thats what he tries. Ever since his father died Russell hasn't been able to cope with it proper as he's too "macho" to let out his real feelings. Russell lives by a never say die attitude and is probably one of the most disobedient persons you would ever meet. If you tell him to eat that cookie he wouldn't but tell him don't wash those plates he would do it in a heartbeat. Sometimes that behavior get him into trouble but to Russell trouble is a way of life.

Russell only really loves his mother since she's the only person who doesn't judge him as she knows why he behaves the way he does. Despite his behavior Russell is still the man of the house and does anything to get money when his mother is in need of the funds. Friend wise he doesn't have many and the ones he does have aren't considered as good company. Since he's a boy obviously he has had crushes but since he never had a father to teach him about "the bird and the bees" he is sometimes awkward around them. Also he is a person who thinks highly of his looks.

Normally if unprovoked Russell is pretty calm and sensible but this changes quickly most of the time. When he first heard of team paradox he joked about joining them to cause trouble but deep inside he was disgusted by them and what they stand for.

Appearance :Russell has dirty blond hair with sky blue eye color. His hair is fashioned in a fauxhawk style.Since he is so high on personal care he usually spends much of his time shaping his hair until its perfect. He also has a bit of facial hair a little mustache that he's proud of and that he combs in secret. His eyes are very enticing and dreamy by people of both genders and sometimes his eyes show a very intense side of him. Russell has a very light brown skin color and a scar on his elbow from one of his past schemes. Aside from that he does have smooth skin surprisingly.

He stands at 5'7 and 145 pounds. Russell is very muscular but not buff and has very defined features such as a six pack and what people called a very chiseled body. Like any normal teenager he has a few bumps and pimples but not huge that stand out or are very noticeable. Despite being muscular Russell isn't very athletic as he never did any sports growing up but his muscles are only due to the fact that he worked hard all his life doing odd jobs. Girls do admire him for his body and Russell often sees them staring at him from a distance.

Russells dresses very simple. He usually wears a plain white t-shirt with no design of any sort on it covered by a blue sleeveless hoodie which he rarely puts over his head. He wears neatly fitted black skinny jeans and a simple black and white low tops with blue laces. In warmer temperature Russell would remove his hoodie and just wear the white shirt only or to keep that from getting dirty a blue t-shirt. In colder temperature he wears a stylish snow jacket. No one has ever saw Russell without his necklace with a blue topaz pendant given to him by his father. He also has a blue topaz earing in his left ear and a blue g-shock watch matching his hoodie.

History : Born and raised in Grandnal City. Russell lost his father at the age of 10 and was raised by his mother and the streets. Growing up his father always talked to him about pokemon and showed him how to handle and care for pokemon so when he died it was hard for Russell to to deal with it since his father died trying to stop a rampaging Rhydon. After this Russell had a hatred in his heart for pokemon but as he grew up he realized that not all pokemon are like that and changed his outlook of them.

At age 13 Russell had to start working hard to keep his mother and himself afloat as his mother struggled to find work after the trauma of losing her husband. Russell had to work in ranches and on farms to earn cash by shoveling you know what and cleaning the pokemon etc. At that time he started to learn more about pokemon and pokemon care from that all the little jobs that Russell took up had to deal with pokemon so that besides from getting money he would know more about those pokemon.

At age 14 his mother got a steady job and was over the death of Russells father so she encouraged Russell to start his own pokemon journey just like his father did around this age. Russell decided to stay just in case but after realizing that she was ok and that the affairs of the house were well taken care of. Russell had no one to talk to one the matter since he was despised by most of the adults in the town because of his behavior and other pokemon trainers in the town didn't trust him.

So finally at age 15 Russell decided to go on his journey looking forward to this journey since he did always want to go on a journey after being told all those stories about being a trainer. Russell set off looking to both start a great life for himself but to change peoples though of him.

Name: (Pokémon Trainer) Arthur “Ace” Rourke
Age: 15

Personality : Arthur Rourke goes by Ace because he does little more than play cards. He doesn’t like to over exert himself but he rides to and fro Kenrith City everyday for his job unloading the trucks at the pokémart. He doesn’t like to do much, he just hangs out with his friends, plays cards and relaxes. He is open minded and respects, but not necessarily agrees with other peoples views. He is always relaxed, and happy even in the most formal situations. The only times when he isn’t like that is when he or his friends and family are in danger. He dislikes very little but one of the things he strongly dislikes is being told what to do. He doesn’t express or show his discontent when this happens he just doesn’t do the task. He also dislikes rudeness. He is generally very polite, but when he is confronting someone who has been rude to him or to someone innocent, he retaliates by getting in their face and listing the thousands of other things they could’ve done. He is always content except for when his longing to train a Pokémon creeps into his mind.

Yes, he goes preferably by Ace or Arthur but he could also go with Art, Arty or anything else that isn’t ridiculous. He is generally treated kindly because he usually doesn’t confront people so there is often a mutual respect between him and another. He sometimes fights with his older brother though. His brother is seventeen and his complete opposite, that’s probably why they fight. He views life as something that should be lived to make yourself and others happy. His major downfall is that he always tries to be the hero. That, and he can be too selfless. He would give his life to save another’s anyday.

If Arthur were asked, “So what do you think about Team Paradox?” He would say something along the lines of, “Who?”. But, If he knew who they were he would be immensely unsettled by what they do. In his eyes, life should never be taken no matter what the circumstances.

Appearance : Arthur is tall and muscular but not ripped he just has a muscular build from unloading boxes all day. He wears a plain white T- Shirt under a short sleeved, black, cargo jacket. He wears regular blue jeans, usually naturally faded from use and wear. He has skateboarding shoes with worn soles and he has red laces that cover the black tongue of the shoe.
His messy, but otherwise straight, black hair reaches down to just below his ear in the back. He grows out his bangs so that they reach his eyebrows in the front. His hair goes slightly over his ears. His face is defined and handsome. He has a straight nose and hazel eyes that have a calming effect when met. His jaw is wide and appears to be clenched. He is taller than average but only slightly.

History: Arthur has led an easy life. He goes in and out of Kenrith every day for his job but not once has he heard of team twilight. He personally hasn’t had any experience handling Pokémon. He does however; enjoy watching the league fights on television all the time. For as long as he’s known about them. He only feels sad when he notices that he probably wasn’t meant to lead an exciting life, his parents don’t want him to be a Pokémon trainer. They want him to live a desk life, as a respected business man. He feels that this sort of life would be like living in a monotonous circle with the only end being getting old and retiring. He wants to see the world and go on an adventure. He plans on running away as soon as he gets a Pokémon.
