Are you biased in your opinions when it comes to Pokemon? Like, you only take one Generation into account always? Or only one part of the franchise? What are your thoughts in people who have biased opinions?

I'm not biased in my Pokemon opinions most of the time. When its something that relates to a Pokemon, I take all generations into account. When its something that has to do with the anime, I don't just stick to one season. When its the manga...well, I don't really read the Pokemon manga that much. xD

I tend to be biased towards the newer generations because of the new battling strategies that have been involved in that generation, as well as the designs of the new Pokemon.

I like to take all parts of the Pokémon franchise into perspective. Now just like Zeffy said, I'm not really into the manga much. But for everything else, yes. I like the show, I like all the games and all the generations.
Now to be fair, I didn't really become a Pokémon fan until after Diamond and Pearl, and I first started my Pokémon journey about 2 years ago, when I was 15.
But I caught on mighty fast, and I now love almost everything about it.
So basically, no, I'm not biased much at all with Pokémon. With other things? .....Maybe. :cer_blush:

I'd just say things like it's crap or that I don't like it etc.
That's the one thing I hate most in biased opinions. I'm guessing some the people who have biased opinions, especially on the games and generations, haven't played the game itself yet. That makes it unfair.

Personally, I'm not biased in Pokemon. But when it comes to other things, like browsers and stuff, I'm very biased about that.

I have a negative bias towards almost anything DPPt because I didn't enjoy the games as much as the rest due to their obnoxious slowness. So much for the games. Since I am not very well-informed about the other parts of the franchise at all, I will leave it as that.

No... I'm not biased with Pokemon. I don't care what gen they are from, what type they are, if they look good I like them :3

I have a strong hatred for Dawn and everything related to her. She was just an incredibly annoying character, and the episode where she left is still my favorite in the whole series, just because it gave me that great feeling that "I will never see Dawn again, except perhaps for one or two future episodes"

I'm not biased to a particular generation. I can put my hand on my heart and say that.

Newer can somethings be better, it can sometimes be worse and sometimes there isn't a noticeable difference, I'll judge it based on the actual content I see not on a rigid belief.

If I like the look of a pokemon then I'll like it no matter what gen it's from. I have a couple more favourites in the 3rd and 5th gens.....but I still have some in the other gens I like.

I'm biased towards Gen V and Gen III, and usually fight against people who won't play the games because they don't like the new designs.

I'm biased towards Hoenn, mainly because it's my least favorite region. I also hated the pokemon designs in that region x_x
