AWESOME!!! I knew it would be one of the Johto girls, but I didn't know if it would be Crystal or Lyra. The sprite is really good.

Yeah. The coloring kinda failed when I used PokeTEX, but I still really kinda like it.

It was from Kimba616, but the spritesheet could be used (It was public), as long as permission was given. Which I did.

EDIT: Ok. Today, I started working on the Lab script. Almost every change I made would crash the game or freeze it. Except for this time. Watch the video below to see what happened.



^That's been the closest I have ever been to having this script work PROPERLY.

This is the first NDS hack I've seen that actually change the whole game. All the other ones just simply change the Pokemon... This hack is a lot like changing Fire Red into Shiny Gold. Team Fail, please don't fail !

Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but the buildings and such are actually 3D models, so you couldn't insert 2D graphics.

I'm trying to get the lab script working. But I can't. So, I am going to use another room for now and when I get it fixed, I'll issue an update patch. I need to first find a suitable room for the new "lab".

Would the Valley Windworks building do for now?

Ok. I did some messing around with internal files in land_data_release.narc and I have managed to "move" the lab so I can work on a clean slate and not worry about level scripts!

So far, I see you've done simple map edits. But what will happen when serious mapping is needed? (not that you're not working hard or anything, I appreciate the hard work so far)

That's the only place this hack will really suffer. Until a very complete map editor comes out, nothing can be done. I'm hoping that if someone sees potential in this hack, they'll point me to an undetcover in-development map editor that I could use. Sadly, I doubt it will happen, so any estimated timeline to this hack could go for years, because of the uncertainty.

I agree. We can only release the first part of our games until someone creates an awesome map editor.

Is it Duck Tales? I loved that game. XD Also, is it the Moon level by any chance? And I'm totally not saying that because it is the only level I kinda remember. :3
