You should be careful with those scripts. If you modify a rom, the adress of each item may change. I found out that the hard way and had to reprogram an LUA script because of that.

I didn't modify it and the map file is the file that's missing. And it still won't let me open it.

Good find.
It's very interesting for events and maybe utile for textures.

Anyone can send me the Rom with the script? (in MP)
Also, i need the script for all versions (Diamond or Pearl, Platinum and HG/SS).

I'm not sure if this is a bug/glitch, but when I try to change the top right house to the lab, the player's house changes instead and the top right house vanishes. It also won't let me edit the bottom left house.

Yes, maybe.
But it's hard to explain how to edit Map precisely with a Hex editor.

Also, i have not the time for that.
But i'm open at open source, and everyone can join my project for work with me (only if you have solid knowledge in hexadecimal hacking, sure.)

Remember, i need help and i can't work alone.

So the first one is a slower release with every feature, but the second one is lots of quick releases with limited features?
I'd want to wait for the complete one.

Not exactly.
The current version is the "automatic release".

You choose a model for example, and you don't need retouch anything.
But for me it's very long, and i must lock every option not compatible (security limitation).



That's why i want make a "manual release".
You have more options but you need use all options for edit properly a model.

But for me it's very simple, and i can unlock every option, even if incompatible (user can adjust these options).


So...
I gain 500 + Maps in short time (i have all documentation, knowledge, etc) but...
I lose the title of "Intelligent Map Editor"


And i don't know if PKC users really can use a puzzle editor
That's why i have started a new poll!



Note : In current SVN,

- "Permissions Movements" and "Header" are already manual, because these options don't need adjustement.
- "Group of Textures" have a little security if the texture is not compatible. "Individual Textures" has a option to restore every 3D Block.
- "Models" have every coordinates and data on every model on every object (for all possibilities)

You mean your textures?

Not in this tool. You need use TileMolester for that.
For edit models, use DS Model Texture Hacker (the next version coming soon).

This is great, although I can't understand anything that t's saying because it's in Spanish. Thank goodness I'm learning at school, but this will have probably been translated by then...

Anyways, I have a suggestion that will probably be hard to implement, but it could work: Make this tool more like Advance Map. Also, it might be good if you could have a block editor like in A-Map.

Block editor is impossible to make because 4th gen Maps use multiple groups of textures, not a tileset.
We can edit block properties but we can't add more textures in a block.

We can superpose 3D Block to every 2D Block.
