Hey this looks great! If you need any help, ideas, etc., do let us know and we'll try to help ! I'm just wondering if your storyline is going to be linear, or would it have certain branches, like in other RPGs? Btw I like your idea of having a 'love interest' for the protagonist, it'd certainly be interesting, and there would be many stuffs such as side-story, for example, that can be done with that aspect!

this game looks **c**n* awsome, omg, is there a beta out yet? and just wondering but is this for rpfmxp? the titlescreen....i would change its a lil weird. fakemon are awsome omg i love them :D ... who makes the fakemon? maps are awsome.. 7 hours only though wow it would take me a month to make a map not even close to that good it detail...... i want this game!!!!!!

Ooh! This looks amazing! When's the demo coming out?

Also, a sort of obvious question: would Selene be the primary protagonist if you chose to play a girl? Or is there a completely different character for that? ;

He's supposed to be that tall. It's the style of graphics they've chosen to use.

From what I know, but don't quote me on this, there is no option for choosing the girl yet. I'm not terribly certain, though.

cruciFICTION is correct; there is no option to play as a girl as of the current demo we are working on. Eventually there may be, but for now the story centralizes around Helios and not Selene.

Also sorry for the lack of updates guys, the team's been very busy doing stuff for academics, college applications, all that fun stuff.
We'll get back to bringing you guys updates soon enough though :D

The unsaturated look is just so the starter could stand out more. This is just for that event itself. When you walk up to the starter, the screen desaturates and scrolls, showing a picture of the starter. When and if you click yes/no, it will go back to normal. :3

I'm surprised I haven't made an update with these yet. But here are the revamped starters of the Emort Region! These are the final designs and the final sprites of the starters.



Chamelica > Salavern > Fernarious
-- Grass > Grass > Grass/Dark



Kittorch > Felayme > Flamane
-- Fire > Fire > Fire/Steel



Pireel > Pirashock > Protruik
-- Water > Water > Water/Electric

I'd add a bit of dithering with the fire on the Kittorch line, and remove the outlines of the fire. Just to make it match with the Diamon/Pearl style a little better.

Other than that, nice work.

I agree with Ratty. I'll also say that Felayme and Flamane look a tad bit odd considering they don't appear to have necks.

I rather disagree with Ratty.
I really like the distinct look and style of the sprites.
It makes Imperial Sky's sprites stick out from the other games.

Great work on these. Can't wait to kick ass with Protruik!

I really love the fact that you're using such different Overworlds :D They give the game a different feel. Also the trailer was great! I really loved the clip of the surfing on that huge Pokemon =3=

Really nice job on the trailer! I should make one for Uranium xD, maybe one day... My only concern are the pixelated backsprites, I know they are like that in B/W, but that's because of the animations etc, I just think that should be copied you know, it's my opinion.

I'd love to see a Uranium trailer, haha xD Thanks for the compliment on the trailer, we worked pretty hard on it (so hard that we kinda neglected the game itself--we should probably go back to working on it lol).

Well, i mean the backsprites are supposed to be copying a B/W style, but I'm not sure I see what you mean by pixellated--it is made of pixels. Unless you mean the fact that the pixels are doubled in size--that was a conscious decision we made. Yes, they're not animated, but we still think they look good. Thanks for your comment though
