Well, I'm not surprised, with all the merchandise, ads, promotions, and a large kid fan base, it was expected. I'm worried, however, about when will Game Freak/Nintendo start to tone it to older age groups.
As time goes on, things like the anime are getting childish and boring, and teh games are becoming simpler and dull.

The recent games aren't simple and dull, tyvm. It's much more complicated than RBGY and GSC combined, imo. :x

I just don't enjoy them anymore. Okay, I take up simple, but they are becoming a little dull.

15 years and still young, Pokemon has changed Japanese gaming and anime forever.

And at PC, we talk all about it.

I remember that moment when I got Ruby in 2003, now I'm playing Black 8 years on and now I can name all the Pokemon!

I guess I'm kinda surprised that Pokemon has lasted this long, but I honestly can't remember a time without it, so I'll be even more surprised when it eventually leaves us.

I've played Pokemon since 1998 or so with Red and Blue. Pokemon has always been something I've loved. If it were to end.... I don't wanna think of that.

Well, they do say everything come to an end.
But I'd want to delay that end for Pokemon.

They won't end Pokemon for many years to come. It will have to come to a point, however when there are too many Pokemon.

I don't think there's ever going to be an end to Pokemon. I think it will just end suddenly when it stops being a decent source of income which will be well after there are too many Pokemon :P

What do you all think about the character limit for Pokemon nicknames (10) and trainer names (7)?

I think it's a bunch of bull hooey because I wanted to name my character something with more than 7 characters. ;~;

It's short, tbh. I wanted to name my character Anistorm, but it's one more letter...and I'm forced to like... take a letter off the name.

For Pokemon, I don't have a problem with 10 characters since I just add a Y after the name. xD

I don't see why Pokemon get 10 spaces, but people get 7. It's kinda lame. Sucks for people with really long names.

I am really hoping they can go as far as 1,000 Pokemon, so a limit of 2-3 more Generations? That's what I'm sticking with when it comes down to the end..which I hope won't until...forever!

I agree, thankfully my real name "Latifah" has seven letters but my bestfriend has eight letters, and she can't put the 'E' in her last name which really sucks for her. They should at least change it to 12 for our names.

You'll never know if the limit is necessary until you ask one of the developers. :/

Yeah, I wasn't really expecting an answer. I was more asking the air or something. I'm not sure if that's a strange thing to do but I do it a lot.
