By the way they HAD a castle but left it a couple of years after the Mechanist thing started. The clan is JUST A FAMILY sort-of-thing they don't rule over anyone the father is just the head of the family. Name: Tenebrosus ‘Tesus’ Folium (Real Name: Marcus Folium)

Age: 19

Pokemon Species: Grovyle

Job Title: Knights of the Oran

Appearance: Tesus’ appearance is far more different than other Grovyles and their rare shiny cousins. First of all, no Grovyle in the world was born with very different colors: black like darkness reptilian skin and crimson, almost like blood, red leaves. Where his belly should have been red, there was only a gray stone like plain color. The line on his belly is the same color as his limbs and back: black.

Secondly, Tesus has lots of scars on his body. Because of his quite harsh past, Tesus developed series of cuts on his back, and a long scar goes from the top of his lips across his right eye, which wasn’t harmed at all. But his scars are covered from the sight of others, thanks to his outfit: a silver knight helmet, specially designed for pokemon with muzzles, a full silver chest plate with a small picture of the ‘God Pokemon’ Arceus and a symbol of the Knights of the Oran, the Oran Berry, is engraved on both left and right sides respectively; armguards and leggings, both also made of silver, and leather gloves. When Tesus is wearing his armor, the only part of his body visible is his elbows, knees and his red eyes.

And the last of all, Tesus, unlike other knights, has a small cloth with multiple flower designs hidden inside his helmet, but Tesus usually wraps the cloth around his neck behind the dense and strong armor. This cloth Tesus found when he was walking in the forest, taking a walk for a secret break. He still keeps and uses it for multiple reasons, most of the time it is to wipe the sweat from his head whenever the work is hard or the climate is hot. So far, nobody has seen it, and Tesus is aware that if the cloth is discovered, he might get into trouble.


Personality: Tesus was grown in a very strict family, which influenced his character a bit. Tesus is obedient, listening to the knights with higher ranking attentively. Tesus is also very determined, so he always concentrates on one and only goal if given and rejects other tasks, unless it’s REALLY urgent.

Tesus’ interaction with others can be random. Strangers usually avoid Tesus whenever he’s without his armor. His intimidating appearance makes some of the babies cry. But other knights know him as a different pokemon. It is true that Tesus can be quiet, but he is also gentle and caring. Tesus is known for rushing to help, both when necessary or unnecessary. He believes words can be a better solution than fists. Of course he doesn’t like Mechanists, but sometimes he questions the war itself. He believes there is a different way to fix this, even though he didn’t find it yet. And he is still looking for it.

Tesus, when in conversation, is friendly and willing to help. But he is still inexperienced because of his late entry to the Knight’s court, becoming a Knight only at the age of 17. He still can be found making mistakes and asking ‘seniors’ questions. At the same time, Tesus can be rude, occasionally using insults if not in the mood. That, meanwhile, rarely happens.



History: Tesus was born as a third son in the Folium family, consisting of pokemon of the Treecko family. His dad, a Sceptile, is a retired knight due to heavy injuries and a crippled arm despite the young age. His mom is a medic, who specializes in berries and their whereabouts. Tesus also has 3 siblings: 2 older brother and sister, 1 younger brother.

Tesus was the most hyper-energetic from the quartet as a Treecko. He got in trouble lots of time for disturbing the slumber of the retired knights and ruining private lessons for those who were training to become one. Being a blabbermouth, once he got in trouble for declaring he wanted to be a Mechanist because their weapons looked cool. But he didn’t know something about the Mechanists, which later he was told about. And this incident concerned his father and his fallen comrades.

Tesus was sent to training at the age of 6, when actually his siblings went earlier. Even his younger brother, who was 2 years born later than Tesus himself, went to training at the same year as him. But this time Tesus was determined to become a Knight, not a Mechanist. He was told about the incident.

A year after Tesus’ birth, Craig Folium, Tesus’ dad, participated in one of the most violent and horrible battles between the Declarum Forces and the Knights of the Oran. He was there in the battlefield with his best friend, Red the Scizor, and his brother, Dave. But he didn’t know that Mechanists were very cruel. Craig didn’t know they didn’t use their physical strength. They cheated. Craig and his comrades were at the front, fighting with all their might. The Declarum soldiers fell one by one at their attacks. But suddenly, a soldier appeared with a long red tube that Craig didn’t know was a Flamethrower. A ball of fire erupted from the tube, which collided with Dave’s blood drought armor. The fire went through the steel, and soon Dave himself was on fire, being torched alive. Next was Red, who also met the same fate as Dave. Craig could only blink at whatever happened instantly. He couldn’t move. There was a cry of retreat in the back, but Craig couldn’t hear it. The soldier aimed the tube at Craig and shot the deadly element. Craig only blinked. But, miraculously, the burning figure of Red swiftly approached Craig and, grabbing his arm, threw him away from harm. Red was still alive, but burning. Craig wanted to help him, but at the same time he didn’t want to die. Craig just stood up and retreated with Agility as fast as possible, not turning back at the dying figure of his friend. Talk about doing something good at the urge of dying.

Tesus listened to his dad’s story and was determined to destroy Mechanists. His dad didn’t deserve to lose his job and become a pokemon without an arm (his arm was seriously burnt when he was grabbed by Red and had to be cut). Tesus trained hard, learned everything about the Knight’s code. He wanted to fight those ‘cheaters’ and avenge his father. Tesus looked up to become a Knight as noble as his dad and Maverick, one of the council members, who was also a pokemon of the Treecko family.

Tesus learned lots of battle techniques from different Knights. Most he learned from his dad, especially how to affectively use Agility in critical situations and in battle. Craig, even without his right arm, was still good at battling. Tesus spent most of his times sparring or reading huge tomes about Knights and their code. Being the odd and strange-colored one, he spent most of his time alone, isolated from others. He was depressed, bored, and not eager to play at all. He was teased, insulted, even beaten up by some of the trainees. That was when he changed his name from Marcus to Tenebrosus or Tesus, which meant ‘Darkness’, and to him: ‘Despair’. But the only pokemon to surround him, encourage him was his siblings, especially his sister Tetra. Thanks to their support Tesus was able to continue his long journey to becoming a Knight. And he did so in the end.

At the age of 17, Tesus, after a long period of training and battling, was finally accepted to join the ranks of the Knights of the Oran. Tesus is still hungry of revenge, but his enthusiasm decreased. Tesus was ordered to do many tasks, most of them were scouting or patrolling. But Tesus wanted something more than just running around. He wanted to infiltrate the Enclaves. He wanted to be in live action. He volunteered to become a spy, to ‘cheat’, just like they did. But his application was declined, and Tesus had to bear the urge to defy and beat up the members of the council. Since then, Tesus had a small flame of defiance kept inside him, a small flame of hatred towards the council, except Maverick.

Tesus has been a Knight for a short time. So far, he participated in only one small skirmish, where he managed to defeat only one soldier, but was knocked out unconscious. Tesus is secretly training to become stronger. He does physical training every night to improve his battle techniques, which is why Tesus is always sleepy and depressed. But he doesn’t know that soon, he would need to prove his usefulness.

@TiTaN.JuStIn Tenebrosus ‘Tesus’ Folium is accepted! The idea on how Tesus found the cloth and that he's keeping it in secret is a nice touch. I just ask that you make on minor adjustment. Since Folium is a Knight he is unable to learn TM moves and Energy Ball is a TM move. Just switch it with a move he would learn naturally and you will be good.

Edit: Actually scratch that I just remembered that Treecko can learn energy ball naturally. My mind blanked on that one so your SU is good to go.

Name: Chauncey Parks

Age 21

Pokemon Species: Togetic

Newborn or Entrenched Mechanists: Entrenched

Job Title: Medic

Appearance: While standing fully at 2’2’’, slightly higher than the average height for a Togetic, Chauncey tends to slouch a lot. Usually he only seems about 1’9’’. To denote his role as medic, Chauncey uses an ancient, tattered nurse’s cap he found in an old Pokemon Center. Since, being human-sized, it of course didn’t fit on his head, Cauncey used some string and scissors, and modified it into a sort of necklace he keeps as a lucky charm. Another accessory is a doctor’s mask, which he puts on when people are chucking gas pellets around. When Chauncey is not wearing the mask, it hangs down around his neck alongside his good luck charm. He wears a harness and belt with several pouches for the storage of the medicine and ingredients Chauncey carries with him. The portable lab for making more medicine in the field has to be carried on his back in a bigger pack, making it difficult to fly. Or, it would, were Chauncey able to fly in the first place; one of his wings showed an injury which had since healed over, but rendered the wing useless, and the Togetic ground-bound.

In terms of equipment, Chauncey has dedicated one pouch to sleeping pellets, for use in getaways or as a MacGyvered anesthetic if emergency operations have to be performed in the field. Two pouches carry various medical tools, including disinfectant and needles for giving stitches. Two pouches are used for storing gathered ingredients, such as herbs and berries. The Potion and Super Potion bottles themselves are attached directly to the ‘X’-shaped harness Chauncey wears, for easy access. Used up bottles are refilled using the lab and ingredients whenever the time is available. He keeps a compass attached to the center of the ‘X’-shaped harness.

Personality: Compassion and kindness being a natural trait for Togetic, Chauncey is no exception. This being the case, medical studies were an obvious choice, and he takes that duty seriously. Being out on the battlefield terrifies the poor boy, but he goes anyways so as to make sure the death count is as low as possible. A pacifist by nature, Chauncey has taken an oath never to intentionally harm another Pokemon, and has forgone any form of offensive move. Using TMs, he instead turned himself into a walking buff factory, using his protective moves as preventative measures in hopes that nobody needs treatment in the fist place. Even when it comes to dealing with the enemy, Chauncey encourages his teammates to take prisoners whenever he can.

Chauncey is also very meek, timid, and easily manipulated into doing what someone wants. His helpful nature and naïve ideals don’t help when it comes to saying no to someone who asks. While clearly not suitable for performing violent tasks, Chauncey is the go-to person to keep an eye on someone for you, or reveal someone’s secret, if you word the request to seem like concern for them.

History: With an Audino for a father, and a Togekiss for a mother, it could be said Chauncey was born to be a medic. As a Togepi, his parents instilled in him the ideals of caring for and helping others. Chauncey was also very sheltered as a child, and as a result he often found it difficult to talk to other Pokemon. Being a Mechanist, Chauncey was given a proper education, and learned how to read and write the human language. While unable to speak it fluently, Chauncey also came to understand it fairly well. Not showing much interest or aptitude with complex machinery, the Togepi instead began learning about medicine. The joy upon being accepted allowed Chauncey to evolve into a Togetic. Not initially trained to be a field medic, Chauncey switched over when friends and other people he knew began joining the Declarum Forces. While not approving of fighting or war, he wanted to do what he could to help. During his medic training, it was often commented (partially as a joke towards his name) that Chauncey was supposed to have been born a Chansey. While he had forgone offensive moves, Chauncey was given basic training in defensive maneuvers.

Upon completing his training, Chauncey and some other newly graduated trainees were taken out along with a patrol in a relatively safe area. As a sort of final test of how much the rookies had learned, an accident was staged in which someone was hurt. The group soon found their Potion bottles had been emptied, and were sent to gather ingredients to make more. While the group was putting their medicinal concoctions together, they strayed without knowing from the safe area. A patrol of knights happened upon the group, and witnessed them making their Potions. Those who froze were soon caught and arrested; the others fled and were pursued. The Declarum patrol heard the panic, and rushed to aid their allies, but one of them had already been slain, and several others wounded, including Chauncey, whose wing had been slashed by a Bisharp. The knights were driven off, but the conflict was drawn out and both sides suffered casualties. Chauncey’s wounded wing was not treated in time due to the confusion of combat, and he would never be able to fly again. The injury and the deaths only served as a reminder to Chauncey of what his job was, and that he had to prevent the same from happening to anyone else. At present, Chauncey is still lacking in the experience others have, but he hasn’t lost his ideals and does what he can as a medic with the Declarum Forces.

Name: Alexander Maximillian

Age: 35

Gender: Male

Pokemon Species: Aggron

Job Title: Field Technician

Appearance: Standing at 6'11" and weighing 793 pounds, Alexander is by all means your normal, everyday Aggron. Well... Except for one thing. His tail is not the tail he was born with. Due to an unfortunate battle with the Knights of Oran, Alexander lost his original tail. Thanks to the technology recovered by the Declarum forces, however, the medics were able to give him a new tail. This tail is completely covered in a platinum-titanium mixture, with the very end fixed to a sharp point. The inside is a mix of Alexander's original tail and machinery, allowing Alexander to use it as he would normally.

Now, as a member of the Declarum Forces, one would probably expect Alexander to be armed to the teeth with weapons and other tech... They would be right. Alexander carries three different guns with him at all times, as well as some Tear Gas Pellets. The pellets are attached to a velcro band wrapped around his left shoulder. The guns he uses are the Boom Stick (his personal favorite), the Shock Gun, and the Water Gun. Thanks to his experience with the technology, Alexander has heavily modified the guns to the point where they are simply cannons. While this means they use up ammo quickly, they sure do pack a punch to the point where they are as strong as some Pokemon moves. (For example, Alexander's Shock Cannon is as strong as the Thunder attack. Unfortunately, it can only be used three times, as with the other cannons.) The cannons are strapped on his back when not in use, and Alexander (thanks to being an Aggron) can dual-wield them when he needs to. That only happens in situations that require it though. Besides these weapons, Alexander has a portable radio, watch, some flares, and a set of binoculars, all of which are carried in a satchel hanging from his right shoulder.

Weapons:
Boom Cannon: This is Alexander's favorite weapon and his go-to when things get hairy. The power of this weapon is comparable to that of the move Double-Edge. Limited to three shots.
Shock Cannon: A weapon that has been modified to suit Alexander's tastes, this shoots a long lightning bolt that is destructive to anything over than Grass- or Ground-type Pokemon. Power is comparable to Thunder. Limited to three shots.
Water Cannon: An extremely powerful Water Gun that can fire a jet of water with the same force as Hydro Pump. Limited to three shots.
(Note: Remember, Alexander is able to dual-wield any two of these weapons if he decides the situation calls for it. Also, each of the cannons has a huge recoil when fired, causing some Pokemon to either be blown back or knocked out. Only Pokemon with a size similiar to an Aggron can use these weapons without getting seriously hurt.)

Personality: Alexander is an all-around patriot, believing in all of the things that make the Declarum Forces great. He always strives to make his home even better. He is very loyal to those he calls friends, and has a set group of morals comparable to the Knights of Oran. In fact, he outspokenly says that he follows their fourth rule: A Knight must show compassion, bravery, honesty, empathy, chivalry, and mercy to all but their enemies. However, that is the only rule he follows. He is strictly opposed to any form of oppression, explaining why he is against the Council. He can be a bit stuck in the past, often remembering certain moments in his many past battles. He is also seen to strive for perfect balance, as he worships Arceus, Reshiram, and Zekrom.

Thanks to time, Alexander has learned to control the temper that most Aggrons are associated with. Unfortunately, it does flare up every now and then, especially in battle. While in a battle, Alexander is a fierce competitor who will simply not give up until he is either knocked out or dead. He is usually the guy that sits back and waits until he feels he is needed. When that happens, expect him to come roaring in, firing his cannons, swinging his tail, and raising all sorts of hell for his enemies. After the battles, one can usually see Alexander planting trees where other trees had been uprooted or destroyed.

History: Fifty years ago, two Knights of the Oran left thier country, seeing that it was getting worse by the day. The Council had just ordered these two Knights specifically to kill off a rogue village of Porygon, Porygon-2, and Porygon-Z. Not wanting to do such a terrible thing, the two knights, a male Tyranitar and a female Aggron, joined the Mechanists. Over the next fifteen years, they grew accustomed to thier lives as mechanists, and soon they had a child, a male Aron they named Alexander Maximillian.

Almost immediately, the Aron seemed to not only be a great soldier, but also a damn good mechanist. He would often be seen training with his father during the day, while at night the child would help his mother with the various machines before bedtime. Over the years, the child grew up learning both the ways of a Knight and the ways of the Mechanist, getting the best of both worlds. At the age of twenty-three, Alexander (now an Aggron), became a member of the Declarum Forces. Almost immediately he showed that he was a great warrior, specializing in busting up the enemy formations so the Declarum Forces could advance. However, he was extremely hot-headed and stubborn, oftentimes not following orders. During one certain battle, Alexander rushed in too soon, causing his father to go after him. Soon, both of them fell into a trap, becoming surrounded by three Machamp. While Alexander and his father fought valiantly, they never stood a chance. Alexander's father died that day, and the Aggron lost his tail. While he was able to get a new and even better tail, it took several years for Alexander to forgive himself. His father's death caused him to go off into the mountains for five years, leaving some to think he was never coming back, including his mother.

Soon, however, the Aggron came back, having learned the ways of balance. He still had his temper, but he had some control over it. In battle, he was shown to be even stronger than he was before, as he would now follow orders while keeping calm. Seven years have passed since Alexander came back, and he has now gotten almost full control over his temper. Nowadays, Alexander is still fighting for his home. When not training or fighting, he can be seen at his mother's garage, helping her with the machines there when he can.
