who here plays pokemon on their computers?

The only exception is Pokemon... I don't really see the point if I can't battle or trade with other people...

I use emulators because you can do a lot more than you can on the real thing

I use real hand held games/consoles mostly because they don't break a lot and there easier to work with

I haven't tried no$gba but I do like Desmume and VBA. I usue them all the time to play hacks and emerald, which I can't find anywhere...

I play the GBA and very rarely the GBC games on emulators. But only the games I own (Crystal, Ruby, FireRed and Emerald). I sometimes play on PC, but I just love playing them on my phone.

I like the enhanced screen size when using emulators, plus hacks are great. but that hasn't prevented me from buying the hard copies of games still

I love playing Firered, since my GB was lost when we moved, I play it now on pc and PSP , it is awesome because you can transfe saves from one another, so most of the playing is on psp, trading and battling with myselfe is done on pc any body interested give me a shout on pm

Well playing gba games on pc seems borring but i love playing pokemon on psp it's like updated gameboy advance.

I play on my computer. I also have an emulator on my Android phone to play GBA games. :d Unfortunately, no DS.

I play on my computer but primarily on my ipad; There's a really cool thing where you can connect your wiimote to control GB/GBC emulators on it, it's awesome!!

Sometimes I still do. I usually play gen 1/2/3 on the VBA, whenever I'm bored.

I remember when i first figured out emulators, It was last year in grade 10, Was playing Pokemon Heart gold under my desk when my teacher caught me got so mad and threw it against the wall, first i tried to hire some grade 9s to murder her..But then i found emulators

I use VBA. I have all the actual games and stuff, but playing on that tiny screen really hurts my eyes and neck. Plus, yeah, speed button and built in cheats. The only thing that makes me grumpy is I just beat the elite four on fire red with VBA, and I can't get any futher than that. :( It plays the credits and sends me to the main menu. Sigh.

Well for the nintendo ds I use my computer.

For gb/gbc/gba, nes, snes, sega (all consoles), n64, and a few others. I use my PSP . My gba took a dump and I can no longer play emerald now :/.

I own the tech to play the old games but choose not to. Let's see....no power problems, save whenever you want (I abuse this so much!) built in cheat device, speed button, can play hacks.....my only rule is that I refuse to download "New" games (I wait until they become a little more forgoten, perhaps obsolete)

i play on my MacBook Air, it's basically as portable as a GameBoy lol, but really i emulate because it's freeee. plus, hacks are 1337 :D

I pretty much use emulators for most Nintendo games nowadays, I also download the ROMs of the web, 'cause I don't feel like buying them... and I'm not really the sort of person who supports proprietary software much. xD I mainly download the ROMs, research them and contribute to the ROM hacking community.

Though... since there isn't any emulator for 3DS yet, I usually buy them in order to play them, as much as I don't support proprietary software much. xD

Personally when a new game comes out i usually play it on the haldheld but once i have beaten it it goes right onto the emulator

I emulate video games to a certain degree. I won't emulate anything past 16-bits as it lags too much for my tastes.

I emulate games only if I can't play them on a console. I have a flashcard for the DS that can play GBA games, emulators on my phone (which I feel are like playing on a handheld console anyway), and a Wii that'll play downloaded ISOs of Wii and Gamecube games, so I don't really need emulators nowadays.
