Bravo Nino!I love the Minis, and I think they look great. The new fakemon looks better with that palette, I like what you did with Vulcan and storm. However, there are two main things I would like to address. First, I think the Poison leaders Pokeball should retain its red color. Also, Blossom's pallette needs to be... brighter. It looks so dull compared to the old one. Do you mind if I just fix those two things?

Looking good guys! I just thought of something we need ideas for: Puzzles. Gyms, dungeons, even small things on the routes, we need puzzles to challenge the players throughout the game. I think I almost have a plan for how the routes should be laid out, I'll send something out to get everyone's opinion once I'm done.

I have an idea for a new pokemon.
It would be a pokemon, caterpillar, evolves in three different pokemons.
These are the ideas:
-fire in warm places (or using Fire Stone)
-Ice in polar areas (or using Prism Scale)
-electricity, in stormy areas. (or using Thunder Stone)
- Water, on beaches or at sea (or using Water Stone)
- Steel, in cities (or using Razor claw)
-Dragon, at the top of the mountains (or using Razor Fang)
-Ghost, haunted houses (or using Dusk Stone)
-Fighting, gyms?
-Roca, mountain (or using Moon Stone)
-Flying, forests (or using Leaf Stone)
-Poison using Sun Stone
-Psychic using Dawn Stone
-Normal using Shiny Stone.

May also differ pokemons

Pokemon Caterpillar traveler
Depending on the location (or object) this pokemon have different evolutions. It usually lives everywhere in the region and uses the great power of his tail to hit trees and then eat the fruit that falls from them. It uses its antennae to light in the dark

Hello there! Cosmotone or Outkin should add you to the list later. Your sprites are great! Remember that the limit is 16 colors and 64x64 canvas for Pokemon!

Also, we need to get some more maps and stuff before we even start on the Fakemon. Gym Leaders and Elite Four are fine, but all else must wait on maps and other things like tiles.

Oh that map! I got a bunch of schoolwork to do (you should know, Cosmotone), so I can't work on that map much...

I can't be much help with the mapping problem... But if someone could send me a list of pokemon ideas/trainer classes/gym leaders that need to be sprited, I could get started on that? Do we have a complete fakedex system organized? Some of the images in this thread aren't showing up for me...

Everything's looking great guys, I have a rough sketch on an idea for a region map/setup, tell me what you guys think.

(This is why I don't do art lol)

Looks okay, but too, I dunno, one way? like there arent enough connecting routes or something.... It also just flat out needs a lot of work, no offense intended. I've had a couple of ideas and random sketches of town maps just randomly laying around. Will see if I can upload them. We don't need to use mine, but we need to use one with a little better layout. Again, no offense intended whatsoever.

Well, every region has a couple of pokemon it needs for sure. Stuff every gen has had, like:
-the three starters
-a couple of bug pokemon for early routes (it sounds like Nino's idea of one caterpillar with many evolutions could fill this slot)
-a bird pokemon or two for early routes (think pidgey/spearow/starly)
-a rodent for early routes (rattata/zigzagoon/patrat)
-a trio of legendaries (like Articuno/Zapdos/Moltres or Raikou/Entei/Suicune)
-Main legendaries (looks like Solrock and Lunatone?)
-Event legendary (mew/celebi/shaymin)

These are just the ones I can think of off the top of my head. A lot of the rest of the dex is open to interpretation. Every gen has added between 130-150 new pokemon, so that's about how many we'll need. If it's alright with everyone, I'd like to create a blank image numbered 1-130 that everyone can update with new sprites or ideas?

EDIT: Think something like this. The boxes are for the actual sprites and there's enough room above them for people to add a name or quick description of their idea.

I had an idea a while back of doing the five senses instead of a trio. It could be used in place of a trio. Just a thought.

i like the five senses idea. but what would they be?? like a hand or an ear or something?? i guess with teh hand it could be facing backwards and the wrist cutoff could be the face or something... please tell me what you had in mind for the senses. im not a very good idea person, so idk...
