Yes, there are. There's using your favorite Instant Messenging client, or using a site like PlayTCG.me.

I know nobody has posted here in awhile, but my skype is pkolaboy. I will have a decent deck available after Christmas but am ready to now if someone wants to play. I will have my skype open all the time so feel free to message me on skype and ask to play!

^Ok sounds good. Do you use a separate webcam so you can point it directly at the game play rather then the laptop one? Sounds like a better way to go about it.

I just use my laptop one and point it at the cards so they can see what I'm doing. The cards aren't exactly legible unless you own a VERY high end webcam anyway.

I just wanted everyone to know that I would be more than happy to play against anyone, and I now have a skype account (I use imo for it, but they are compatible.) my skype is cartercr_the_pokemon_master.

No financial wagers of any kind are allowed, as it's against site rules. In that same vein, you cannot wager tangible items or personal contact information.

What about actual cards, If you beat that pokemon you get it?

I am keen as mustard. My availability times at this stage is

1pm-10pm Every day and throughout Sat and Sun any time (Obviously unless i have an errand to run).

It is now approaching 1pm the available time for me so these are the various times it would be elsewhere. Not overly convienient for some though.

An actual card is a tangible item (tangible meaning you can touch it with your hands), so they cannot be wagered. Pride is the only thing on the line in these matches.

You set up the match as normal, but use an IM conversation to relay your actions to your opponent.
