FireRed hack: Pokemon: Adventure to Empire Isle

Got a couple more things to report:

And finally, it feels like the difficulty ramps up quite quickly, and early. Kane's (I named my rival Gary, but is this a different person altogether?) Kadabra, and most of the trainers on Empire Isle were very difficult to defeat. My team consists of a Treecko, a Machop and a Spearow, all level 15 and it took my quite a bit of abuse with save states to beat these guys. It was quite frustrating for me anyway, I don't know how anyone else feels.

Big News!

I have spent a few hours inserting some new tiles and reconstructing maps!
They consist of mainly D/P tiles. I have changed the PokeCenter, PokeMart, Grass, Rocks, added vents, new grass path, new Bushes and a few more!

Heres some new screenies, which will also be in the threads main page.

BETA 0.2 Released!

It's here guys along with an updated Hack Document, helping you will all sorts! Please give it a bash and let me know what you think! Report any bugs if you please and enjoy playing! Thanks again for all your support so far. Beta 0.2 should give a true taste of my mapping and scripting skills. This game isn't easy bare in mind!

Nice work! But be sure to try and keep all of your Pokemon approx. the same level, it's a brilliant strategy!

Ah I'm glad! I kept the wild Pokemon high levels o make training easier yes, Empire City is where Beta 0.2 ends. The Gym there is Gym number 4 and so isn't fight able yet.

Make sure you head south of Empire City a defeat the trainers on Isle 5! You'll need the exp also check out the Dojo there too! That meowth won't be much use though

I've downloaded the patch, now I just need to find the right ROM to use it on since all other ROM's I've patched end up being the normal firered game with alot of glitches lol...

EDIT: I forgot about the text saying that it should be patched on Beta 0.1 but there isn't a link to the patch, could you provide one? Or am I just using the wrong ROM's to patch it on?

Ahh I see. Turns out my Beto 0.1 release has been removed the moderators. I will redesign the patch to be patched straight onto a basic FR ROM (Which I cannot provide) later today, sorry for the inconvenience!

EDIT: I completely forgot to give feedback lol! The game is really good, something different which I like, there are so much variety of Pokemon to choose from it's nearly overwhelming! (not saying it's bad) I haven't had much time to play though, I've only just arrived to empire island I think, I'm continuing right now, my team consists of Heracross, Teddiursa, Aron and Quilava.

Then, I started to play the hack.
I applied the new patch (Beta 0.2.1) and I saw the news.

Prepping for Beta 0.3
June 2012

Basically, this one is huge. What you will be seeing is almost twice as much activity in Empire Isle and the start of your struggle to bring down Team Rocket, who are operating simultaneously in Kanto and Empire Isle, redistributing profits from selling rare Pokemon caught in Empire Isle to their colleagues in Kanto.

Now you will be able to earn up to 4 Royal Badges, and also visit the town Gym 5 is based in however it remains locked until the next instalment in which your fight against Team Rocket really takes off (Pardon the pun).

Beta 0.2.1 ended with my party of three at just under Level 30. My predictions for the end of this Beta are a party of 4 at around level 40. Considering some official Pokemon Games Elite Four had levels forties, this is a lot to look forward to. You also get the pleasure of meeting the one and only... Gary Oak!

This shows you through a huge chunk of the Empire Isle. In Beta 0.3 we have our first encounters with the no good Team Rocket. Please provide feedback for this guys, took a lot of work!

This ones a patch designed to be applied to a basic Firered ROM.
