I still have yet to encounter a shiny Pokemon in all my years of playing the games (except for the red Gyarados at the Lake of Rage). It's actually kind of upsetting.

I keep saying this but the only shiny I ever caught (red Gyarados notwithstanding) was that Purple Drowsee in Gold that I thought was a messed up Ditto. ROTFL

A shiny Starly here, a shiny Tentacool there, a shiny Deerling, etc.
With the common species it's just a matter of walking in enough grass :P

Deerling is the most annoying pokemon to me. I swear...including shinys it has 8 DIFFERENT SPRITES. That is ridiculous to me.
