On The Current Topic: I'd say Fire/Rock, as it's too easily breakable. Plus it would be sorta slow. They should give a good Defense to ALL Fire/Rock Types they ever introduce (I know Magcargo, but I'm referring to anything they introduce) and a good attack at the same time. They also need to give a helpful speed if they are as strong/stronger than Starters. Then, give them a wide moveset. Then, it'll become a GREAT Type Combination, although it's got a large amount of weaknesses (Ground, Fighting, Rock and Water which are all used commonly) and an even larger amount of neutrals (Grass, Dragon, Ghost, Steel, Dark, Electric and Psychic) which makes it quite a vulnerable Combo.

Hydreigon is not a Fire-Type. Sorry.

Also, another flaw in your post: You have not yet received the required 120 points. Sorry, but you cannot evolve Houndour just yet. However, you are 1 point away (Detail Bonus is given very rarely).

I'm also going to PM many active members and ask them if a secret new feature (Low point members won't know) should be added.

Which generation do think have best fire type pokemons?

This is a tough choice. Both Generation I and Generation II have great and awesome Fire-Types. However, there can only be one best. Both, have extremely cool Fire-Types such as Charizard and Typhlosion. But in the end, I'll have to go with Generation II. Generation II was my choice because Typhlosion just beats Charizard in awesomeness by a tiny margin, and other Pokemon such as Ho-Oh is just plain win. However, in Generation I, they had great Fire-Type Pokemon such as Charizard, Arcanine and even Flareon (It can be very good if you know how to use it). In fact, every Generation had at least one good Fire-Type, and therefore that's what made Fire-Types tie in for the Best Type in my opinion. Fire-Types have the potential to faint just about anything, Because of it's ability to cause 5x damage, are super effective against many Types, and because they are great Moveset Special Sweepers. Also, there aren't just Sweepers alone, there are some certain Fire-Type Pokemon that has gone on to serve themselves a wall, such as Magcargo or Torkoal. Then, you have the all-around/balanced Fire-Types, which each serve both purposes, and can sometimes (Not always) prove very useful in a battle. Whereas, with (Great) great Fire-Types such as Ho-Oh, it is a good Attacker and Defender both at the same time, proving it a formidable legendary which can be very fun to battle against. Sinnoh may have only introduced just a few Fire-Type Pokemon, however they are very good despite me, personally, dislike them a tad. But still, every Fire-Type has a certain potential or power that makes them useful or awesome, which is what made Fire-Types even cooler. Which goes to show - All Fire-Type Pokemon can make a great representation for a Pokemon. Which also means, all Fire-Types catch someone's liking. But anyway, that topic has made me come up with another one, hopefully it would be widely talked about and would be one of the best topics we ever had.

New Topic: Name your favourite Fire-Types of each Generation.

Name your favourite Fire-Types of each Generation.

Generation I: Charizard/Flareon because they were very useful in a Pokemon Game - It's design is cool.
Generation II: Typhlosion/Ho-oh because they are just win in coolness and power.
Generation III: Blaziken because it's just the best there although I don't like it myself.
Generation IV: Infernape because it's quite strong, and there was only a small choice.
Generation V: Reshiram because I have to pick something.

Hi guys! Just a little moderator note here, when answering topics like the one above (favourite Fire types of each generation), please make sure to give details and explanations as to why you like the Pokémon rather than just listing them or the posts are considered spam! :) I'll let these slide for now but please edit them soon to include explanations. :D

Also as another note, the amount of topics in this club is huuugggeee, and whilst that's not necessarily a bad thing, I suggest cutting back on how frequently new topics come up since a lot of them are becoming very similar/spammy and slower members won't be able to keep up! :3 It's recommended that you only change the topic around 2-4 times a week and discuss them which each other in more detail rather than giving short answers and moving on, so it'd be nice to see some more detailed discussion please as the posts are starting to get rather spammy. :)

Thanks!

That is understood, we will keep that in mind when introducing New Topics. Thanks for leaving the note.

Okay, that makes a new rule.

New Rule: Always explain topics in detail (Sensibly and fully).

From now on, this rule shall stop this club from becoming Spammy. If any post does not meet the Detail Requirements, points will be cancelled (Apart from the first time, where instead a Warning is given out). Also, now I will recommend bringing back previous topics (It used to be allowed, but now we recommend bringing back previous Topics so we can discuss about it fully). Six members and I debated on a Strike System. We decided to have a strike system, running on the most important rules (Follow PC Rules, Explain Topics in detail, Activeness and Arguing) which would have quite a simple strike system (Although only Activeness was discussed).

Strike System:

Activeness:

If the inactivity duration reaches 10 days, you would be given a Warning.

If the inactivity duration reaches 17 days, you would be given a Strike.

If the inactivity duration reaches 30 days, you would be given another Strike.

If the inactivity duration reaches 50 days, we can't do anything else but remove you from the club. If you want to come back, you'll have to use the Sign-Up form.

However, if you say you're going to be very inactive for a duration, then we will cancel out the deadlines.

Strikes will go after 7 days each.

PC Rules:

If you brake any global PC rule twice, you will be given a warning.

If you brake any global PC rule three times, you will be given a strike.

If you brake any global PC rule four times, you will be given another strike.

If you brake any global PC rule five times, you will be given a strike.

If you brake any global PC rule six times, you will be banned from the club for 3-31 days, depending on the severity.

Of course, strikes will wear out after 7 days each.

Topic Detail:

If you don't make a post to my satisfaction, you will be given a warning.

If you don't make 2 posts to my satisfaction, all points you could have earned will be cancelled.

If you don't make 4 posts to my satisfaction, you will receive a strike.

If you don't make 7 posts to my satisfaction, you will receive a strike.

If you don't make 10 posts to my satisfaction, you will receive a strike.

If you don't change your ways after 15 non-satisfactory posts, you will be banned from the club for 3-31 days depending on severity.

Strikes wear out after 7 days each.

Arguing Consequences:

If you argue, you will receive a warning or a strike depending on severity.

If you argue again, you will receive a strike.

If you argue again, you will receive a strike or 3-7 day ban depending on severity.

If you received a warning (From the consequence) and therefore argue again, you will be banned for 3-14 days depending on severity.

@Alexozzycake: I'm going to have a spoiler for the Topics (Which is basically VERY unfinished ones) and those are the ones that are recommended to bring back. Hopefully the club would be okay for you.

On the current Topic: Many Fire-Types are good, although we had so little choice on the Generation IV part - ONLY 5 POKEMON (Forms wouldn't count) WE CAN CHOOSE FROM. Although some are good (Am I the only guy here who likes Heatran a bit?), There are a few which they went overboard on. Those Pokemon I'm talking about are Magmortar, oh and a string of flame from Infernape? That's a bit overboard to me. However, some of the good Fire-Types came from Generation IV, so it's a bit of a balanced argument about if they should have had more Fire-Type Pokemon in it.

Generation I: Magmar all the way. He has a strong special attack and special defense and evolves into Magmortar, whom I have in every game possible.
Generation II: I would have to say Typhlosion due to the fact that it has crazy speed and high special attack.
Generation III: Torkoal because his defense and special attack...AND HE'S A FLAMING TURTLE!!!!
Generation IV: Magmortar is my favorite fire type ever. He has super crazy special stats and he has freaking arm cannons! He's a pokemon version of Samus!
Generation V: I guess Heatmor or whatever that ant thing is. I personally strongly disliked B/W. I can't wait for B2/W2.

@RodriguezJames55: If you wanted to list Rotom, just say "Heat Rotom" or "Rotom HM" instead, since the normal Rotom is not a Fire-Type.

@U Shivam: Technically Generation III does have more Fire-Type Pokemon not including forms, because there are six Generation III Fire-Types, and Generation IV has 5 not including Forms. When forms are included, Generation III and Generation IV had the same amount of Fire-Types, each with seven. But since there was little new Fire-Types introduced in Generation IV, we probably know that Sinnoh is a cold region (It is probably the only one with a town of snow).

Hey guys, I'm back! I understand we're discussing our favorite fire type of each generation?
I: Charizard, powerful Pokemon in general, able to learn lots of good moves, and in later games, can fly. It's also pretty much the best Pokemon.
II: Entei, because it is so hard to catch, and is a fairly powerful 'side' legendary.
III: Blaziken, because it makes the game a lot easier, and is especially good at the Battle Frontier. Also, good move pool, as far as I'm concerned.
IV: Infernape, because sometimes the type combination is useful, and it can learn some pretty good TMs.
V: Reshiram, because of the type combination. It may not have the best move pool, but since it's dragon, it can learn lots of moves by TM.

Charizard is quite a good Pokemon, although it's underrated. But I wouldn't say it was the best Pokemon though. As for Entei, it's one of the only Fire-Types with good HP, and it can be quite strong depending on what you want for a Fire-Type. As for Blaziken, it can be quite easy to take down because of it's horrendous Defense, and if it's up against something faster than it, forget about using it, as it is possible to knock it out in one go, especially if the opponent has a Mewtwo, which is faster. As for Infernape, it was quite a good Fire-Type, although it's pretty much the same as Blaziken - Horrible Defense, though Infernape probably has a better move-pool. As for Reshiram, that's my favourite Generation V Fire-Type too, but for some reason, I just think Fire/Dragon Types have bad move-sets. I know, it's weird. But yeah, it's got a lot of weaknesses, and it can be quite easy to take down with another Legendary of the same strength.

Well Charizard is best fire pokemon for some peoples (like myself )
Entei is quite a strong pokemon.
I actually don't like blaziken's design but i think it's a good pokemon cuz it really helped me in battle frontier.
About infernape i totally agree with you on this one.
Reshiram is really strong pokemon if you know how to use him.

Time to go onto a used Topic.

If you were one of a Region's Elite Four, and you were a Fire-Type Specialist, what would your Fire-Type team be? With the Pokemon you picked, what moves would they know? Be creative, the more Types of moves the better.

This is temporarily going to be treated as a Combined Topic, as they pretty much are the same topic, but continued.

For those who are wondering about points for bringing back used Topics, you wouldn't get an extra point bonus - As someone else likely created it.
