Pokemon Balanced Sapphire

Hello , I am new to hacking. This is my first attempt to do a rom hack , so dont mind my sloppy work. As you all know whenever new generations of Pokemon are out , there will always be Pokemon that are never used or underused either due to bad typing or bad stats or maybe they are just plain average.
In this Rom Hack , I will try to balance out some of the Pokemon which I think they deserve better typings or stats.
This rom hack's difficulty will be more difficult than the original version but not so overwhelming that you will go insane just by attempting to finish the game.

Featuring...

-Starters
Starters Pokes are now
+Eevee (has replaced Treeko)
+Heracross
+Feebas
They all start with an Lucky Egg.

-Move Changes
Some of the Pokemon has their moveset changed , Accuracy of Moves might be increased or decreased accordingly, Moves of PP has increased. Some moves typing has been changed as well.

Pokemon
-Several Pokemon types will be change to have additional stab or added an dual type so that they can have more resistance against other Pokemon.
-Most of the Pokemon now have their dream world ability added.
-Pokemon now will learn additional moves naturally through leveling.

-Evolution Changes
Pokemon which needs to max out beauty or trade to evolve now evolve via levels.

-Trainers/Gym Leaders
Their Pokemon's Level has greatly increased to a point that they should be equal your level range.
From 5th Gym onwards to make them less predictable they use different diversity of Pokemon instead of sticking to one.
Expect 5th Gym Leader , Norman to use up to lvl5x Pokemon.

-Elite 4
Sidney now uses Poison Pokemon ,
good old Phoebe still uses Ghost types.
Glacia now takes over Drake's spot and uses Dragon types.
Drake and Champion uses Diversity Pokemon.

-Rivals
The Gender which you chose at the beginning now affects your Rival's Pokemon.
Male Rival Brendan
prefers Pokemon with High Attk/High Special Attk and
Female Rival May prefers using Pokemon with High Hp.
May/Brendan 1st Battle will be a Lickitung the rest of their Pokemon will changes as you battle them.
Wally mains a Feraligatr.

-Items
There are additional items that can be bought in towns , some of them includes Heart Scales , Elemental Stones , TMs and Berries.
-To increase the difficulty curve almost all items prices have doubled or tripled.
-Pokeball related items has their price increase a little instead of significantly.
However commonly used items like Repel , Escape Rope has their prices decreased.

-In-game Trades
There are trainers looking for trades in-game and that includes an Totodile , Meganium and Typhlosion.

-Legendary Pokemon
Other than what Pokemon Sapphire offers ,I will not be adding any other Legendary Pokemon.
Reason : Balancing Pokemon is already hard enough ,Since most of the Legendary Pokemon
has uber stats it doesnt make any sense to add anyone of them.

-Features
Trick House!
-Trainers inside Trick House now has Recovery Items and are of higher level in that area.

-Completely New Pokemon Dual Types!
-Completely new never seen types there are some type that pokemon typing that they deserve but they didnt get it.

-New Tms , Items for Sale
Now your life will get easier! With Lucky egg as early as from the beginning of the rom hack , leveling should be easier than before!
White/Black Flutes are buyable from the very 1st mart to increase wild pokemon encountering rate if you decide to train.
New Tms are buy-able from Marts too!

Important Trainers / Gym Leaders / Champion Rosters,Move List : Done
Wild Pokemon List : Done up till 5th Gym Norman.
Trainer Roster : Done up to 5th Gym Norman.
Pokemon ChangeLogs: Not yet complete.

This looks interesting. Is this going to be an increased difficulty hack? The title suggests it's only a hack to make every single Pokemon in the game viable in their own right.

you do know those berries don't have their ev-reducing effects until emerald right


also wtf level 65 at lilycove i think you need to reconsider your level curve a bit

Hi timson, other than what sapphire version offers I do not want to add legendary Pokemons into the game. However gym leaders and elite4 members will have them. The rest will be catchable

Is it true that Pokemon Sapphire doesnt have berries that has EV reducing effects?
So is it hard or easy to have pokemon fights at lvl65 at that area?

Yep. Pre-Emerald, Pomeg, Kelpsy, etc. were just used for making PokéBlocks and not for EV-reducing effects. It wouldn't make the battles any harder or easier, but selling them would be completely pointless as those berries can be found elsewhere.

And I too think you need to lower the level curve. ~65 at Lilycove City is a little too much.

I will be accepting feedback on items that you want to see in pokemarts.
As well as pokemon typing that you want to change.
Some of the changes I did so far as well as Wally's 1st battle sneak peeks.

Please don't put Feraligatr as Wally's FIRST battle at Mauville City. A Croconaw or something would be acceptable, but not Feraligatr. That is just overkill.

Also, if you're going to change Wally's starter Pokemon to Totodile, make sure to also change the script on Route 102 to make him catch a Totodile, and to be consistent, you should also make Totodiles available on Route 102. There are a lot of things you have to consider when making a ROM hack to make it make sense.

Hi Timson, I dont intend to put such a low level this is meant to be a increased difficultly hack. Totodile can be obtained by a in-game trade somewhere before the 1st Gym.

I understand this is an increased difficulty hack, but please try to keep the level curve stable. Introducing a 2nd stage evolution in Mauville City is a little too much.

Some minor updates that has been done so far.

Roxanne 's Gym is now a GRASS type specialist.
-Base stats of Feebas/Milotic has been changed.
-Moveset of Feebas has been changed.
-Starter Pokemon starts at Lvl3 one of them has been revealed earlier , another in the attachment below.
-The Pokemon Ingame trade for Totodile is not confirmed yet.

I find this project VERY interesting.

However, if I may add my opinion, you should make a downloadable .txt in which you state what changes you made to every pokémon.

From base-stat changes, typing, moveset, evolutional and location.

This allows easier discussion to actually balance out every single pokémon, as well as the possiblity for us trainers to make our own opinions on every modified pokémon

Hi Southueki , I do have a list of Pokemon changes that had been done , but I will not be changing all the Pokemon moveset , base stats only some. And finally thank you for ur feedback

No problem, this is really interesting me!

If you only change some then put in the .txt which ones you changed and what you changed

All the changes, no matter what they are ahah

I recieved 1 person's feedback and would like to add on that an Elite4 has an Salamance with the move WISH is perfectly legal as there is an japan event there gives an Wish Bagon. Thus making it ''legal''.

Latest Update(15Apr13) includes wild pokemon changes up to route 103.
