My first shiny was a Weedle in Crystal. I found him when I was randomly headbutting trees in Ilex Forest (post-game). Unless if my battery died, he's a beautiful Beedrill. :)

Mine was a shiny Sunkern. Yes a Sunkern. Nevertheless it was a shiny and I am damn proud of it. No matter how useless it is.

well, there's a first in every game so i'm gonna talk about my first shiny in different version.
a shiny kakuna in silver, *sparkles o.o
a shiny zubat in fire red, in mt. moon i think, it KOed me
a shiny mightyena in ruby, it's owned by a trainer i battled T.T
a shiny relicanth in platinum, i was fishing of a kingdra, and this blue fish showed up instead, i was inlove with blue colored shiny ever since.

My first shiny was (sadly) a Bidoof. Random encounter on Diamond version. I hadn't realized how rare they are upon finding it, though. I've been playing for almost two years and only have encountered 2 shiny Pokemon in the wild, not counting the Lake of Rage Gyarados.

A shiny Tentacool in Diamond. First time I ever bothered catching a Tentacool. My second was a shiny Riolu which I hatched. I was much happier with the latter.

Out of all the time spent playing I've had one random shiny encounter, and it was a Machop back in Emerald. I was stupid and eventually erased over that save file though. Kinda wish I hadn't done that. Just a bit. ;P

A shiny Wurmple, that later evolved into Beautifly. Sadly I forgot I had it and stupidly deleted that game file. ;_;

My first shiny was a Geodude in Fire Red. It was completly useless in every single battle I sent it out though and I ended up erasing the save file afterwoods.

I've now got a shiny Celebi from one of my friends in Black 2, but that's hacked. :Y

Red Metapod, Crystal Version on my way to see Mr. Pokemon. No poke'balls. It was horrible. I ran away because I couldn't bring myself to attack it. Wierdest thing though, I found four shinies in the space of two days in HeartGold.

Shiny Poochyena in Emerald, I believe. But that wasn't even when I was little, it was when I was replaying it a while ago. I think I also caught a Shiny Raticate on Leafgreen, but that also might have been my sister, can't remember.

Ekans firered, i thought my game was glitching or something, second one was also from firered i think it was a diglett. Then my firered cartridge actually did get all glitchy and eventually deleted the save files

First shiny I've ever gotten was... Shellos (West Sea)
I was looking around for mersprit in my diamond version...
then shellos appeared and it sparkled.
I didn't really know that it was a shiny that time because I didn't know they would sparkle and the shiny sprite of a west sea shellos, there was barely any difference in the colour scheme so... yep.

Excluding Red Gyarados, I actually did meet a shiny Horsea and after a few steps a shiny Munchlax in Ruby Destiny: RoL (made by destinedjagold of course). Then there was a shiny Drowzee I killed in a randomized Emerald (don't ask), and to finish this off, I have a shiny Ferrothorn on my White version that I hatched, not caught.

Well, I guess I can't catch a shiny unless it's not in a clean game.

Way back when... I encountered a purple Drowzee on route 24, whilst leveling my Poke's on the first play through of Silver Version. How cool was that! I was like, that Drowzee is purple wtf... go Poke-Ball! Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle.

I didn't catch another until Diamond version. I some how caught a green Machoke on Victory Road, level 45 with only 1 pokeball left. Winning!
