Eventually, yes. If I'm being honest I don't have a clue when it comes to battle backgrounds, Dr. Fuji inserted them for me.

No. As you can see at the end of the video, Leon took the Larvitar.
The starters will be the original Kanto starters.
If I can remember how I'll help you do it at some point.

Video looks good, I especially like the sliding of Leon :P.

well.. meant if the game has like HORRIBLE graphics so bad that it just didn't look right. THEN I wont play it but if the graphics of a pokemon game new are R/B graphics I' just set the game down unless its a R/B/Y hack. This game has great story line from what I've seen the battle backgrounds are epic. SO If the graphics are changed back to the Fr/LG grapchis meh I'd be good. And since we're wating till next year.. it would be WORTH the wait.. I mean.. Only Epic games take about 1 year to make beat 1!

UPDATE!

It's been a year today since I posted this thread. To celebrate, here is my first script of 2012!



Yeah it's just a starter script...but at least it's progress!

The lab looks nice, the tiles are professional and the room next to it looks intresting.
Once the starter script is out the way progress seems to run smoother.

But I'm busy with college, christmas is near and I'm trying to sort our some real life issues so haven't been doing too much recently, but I am still working on this. Just very slowly.

hey i decided to add the new pokemon to my hack so people will like it more but there\s a problem they dont have movesets and types and stuff revealed yet so im just going to make stuff up and make evolutions up for them too, fenekin will evolve into a fire/fiteing werewolf, croky will b a pure water thing and grass rat will be grass and dragon, also pokemon x will just have dialgas stats.

EDIT/POST COMMENT REPLY: "u are a huge ******" Sorry, maybe I'll add one or two of virizion's moves too.

I don't think this is a good idea. I mean, by the time you're even close to releasing this, the official sprites will be out by then and spriters will probably already have them re-sized to fit in a gba hack.

I've seen numerous ppl on the forum already re-size the starters hours after the announcement trailer. For example, I've seen these sprites on 2 people signatures already:

It's not difficult to make gba style sprites for anything, especially the next generation of Pokemon.

Those sprites definitely aren't GBA styled, they're definitely NDS/Gen V styled and much larger than GBA starter sprites would be. Besides, they're fan made and not every single Gen VI Pokémon is going to be perfectly sprited by one person in a short amount of time (there's also no backsprites etc.). If you're going to sprite the entirety of Gen VI for a ROM Hack you might as well sprite a whole generation of your own Pokémon.

If you need sprites (front&back) for the 6th gen starters, Kyledove made some really amazing sprites and they're free. Here's a link to them. There's also some OWs as well. http://kyle-dove.deviantart.com/art/...ites-347485520

They're too big though...And Kyledove aint gonna sprite fronts and backs for every single 6th gen Pokemon.
