RSE Who became your most reliable HM slave?! (Besides Mew and other legendaries)

I have three favorite HM slaves this gen. Two of them have undoubtedly already been mentioned repeatedly - Linoone and Tropius. They're the perfect HM slave pair. But my other favorite, who joins the team late in the game, after all the rest of the content has been dealt with and the rest of the moves aren't necessary, is Parasect. It learns Cut and Rock Smash - the two most useless-but-often-necessary HMs - plus False Slash and Spore, which makes it a perfect dual-purpose HM slave/Catcher.

I used Relicanth as my main HM Slave after I had access to them. They can learn the Water-traversing HM's along with Rock Smash.
I hated having to put Rock Smash on a Pokemon, due to just how weak it it.

As everyone's been saying, Linoone has been good for me, since it learns all the HMs that are useless. I have also tried using Tropius, and it is also a great one.

Linoone. I never had any respect for that pokemon so I made it an hm slave.

Marill was my HM slave, and I regret it. I love Marill to pieces now.

Last time I played Sapphire (on emulator) - Persian (for cut), Kingdra (for Surf, Waterfall and Dive), Delcatty (strength), Sceptile (rock smash), Pelipper (fly)

Sadly, it became my Swampert since Hoenn is mostly water he had or actually has since I'm trying to make the most of Emerald xD

Zigzagoon for Cut and Rock Smash, Wailmer for Surf, Waterfall, Dive, and Strength. Fly was usually given to one of my main party so that one I didn't have to worry about~

I would have gone with Linoone but I didn't use Cut that often.

Zigzagoon and Tropius. Oh, how much I loved using them as my slaves, especially with Zigzagoon picking up items.
They were also my death fodder Pokemon so I could heal :3

Azumarill. Though I did use him for battles and stuff, he was my highest-leveled Pokemon at that time. xD It was probably because, as a child, I felt that removing HM's were wrong lol

I have three favorite HM Slaves on Emerald.
Tropius - Cut, Fly, Flash, Strength or Rock Smash
Linoone - Surf, Rock Smash, Dig (Dig was pretty neat too!)
Relicanth - Surf, Waterfall, Dive

It would either be Tropius + Relicant (Water) or Tropius + Linoone (Caves)

I use Marill for Surf,Waterfall,Dive,Rock Smash and Tropius for Cut,Flash,Strengh and Fly.

Makuhita's generally my go-to in Emerald for Rock Smash, Strength etc. Seaking was used for Waterfall, Dive, Surf then had a Beautifly with Flash and Nincada with Cut.

I think that would be Azumarril. Surf,Rock smash,dive and waterfall, I guess...can't remember if he can use waterfall...it's been so long since I had Azumarril xD.

Just to point out, I found it funny the way you assumed we use our legendary Pokemon as slaves to the cheapest moves in the game my Latios obviously knows Rock Smash, Strength, Flash, the like P, screw Psychic I want Strength.

I used mostly Linoone, Rhyhorn or Wailmer.

Linoone is good becuase it can learn strength, surf, and cut. Azummaril is good becuase it can learn all the water HM's (surf, dive, waterfall) but to me Pelippers the best becuase it can fly, surf, defog, and cut while remaining powerful. A combination between Azummaril and Pelipper will probably be the best.

Even though I never wanted to, Swampert always ends up being my HM slave. I guess it's the curse of Hoenn and its water...
