Okie dokie, now that I've seen a subbed version of this as well as raw, here's some reactions to events.

So, immediate disclaimer: I know next to nothing about game!N or PokéSpe!N or N from anything other than Black Adventures actually. But I really liked how he comes across in the anime. He's got his own agenda which doesn't revolve around or particularly include Satoshi, even in the episodes he appears in. That is refreshing. And he's a very kind and passionate but generally reserved person. And, and! His ideology clashes with the main cast so much but wow my favourite thing- "Satoshi-kun, the world I seek appears to be different than the world you seek. But I don't dislike you." DO YOU UNDERSTAND HOW COOL JUST THAT IS WOW And also when I watched the raw of this it was very very clear what was going on and that amazed me. Like everything was just so well-conveyed wow.

Other than that, this episode contained Team Rocket being acceptably competent and threatening and going down with a decent fight, which is always nice. And some legendary backstory from both Satoshi and N- the first explicitly stated and the second in flashback/personal headspace. Hopefully that potential plotline will go somewhere interesting.
