My First Nuzlocke ever.

Game: Emerald

Rules:

Battle Style: switch
Fainted pokemon are dead and must be released
A white out is a game over
Catch only the first pokemon in the area
You must nickname all your pokemon
Challenege begins when pokeballs are recieved
Dupes rule is off

Progress:

Started the adventure with Hollow Log the Mudkip who has been easily my most trusted member helping me defeat Roxanne. So far not one pokemon I have caught is capable of learning cut so I have simply ignored it as well as all that route 116 experience. If it gets to the point where I can't advance the story and still haven't found anything that can learn cut exceptions can be made, right? Arrived in Dewford Town and am about to go through Granite Cave before challenging the Dewford Gym.

Trivium the Whismur L: 6
A.Dementia the Marill L: 11
Rusty Scar the Cascoon L: 9
Diamanda the Poochyena L: 9

Boxed:

Syncopy the Cascoon L: 7 (Caught two early wurmples and kept my fingers crossed they would turn into beautifly and dustox respectively)
Quartz the Poochyena L: 6

Dead:

Cacophony the Whismur L: 9 (Uproar is a very risky move for this type of challenge despite its pretty fair base power and stab. Lost to the rivals surprisingly formidable Wingull.)

So far I have defeated the first gym and here is my team!

Pea the Machop - Level 15.
Shinx - Level 12.
Peach the Staravia - Level 14.
Potato the Geodude - Level 9.
Apple the Zubat - Level 10.

Cabbage the Bidoof - Level 5.

Update #3

Went to Route 211 and caught Vibranium the Bronzor.
Took on some Galactic Grunts, lost Cheeks in the process.
Went up against Jupiter, lost both Chimpy, Vibranium, and Juda to her Skuntank. Suddenly I'm doubting my odds of even beat this challenge. :/
Went passed Route 211 this time and into Mt. Coronet where I caught Buddah the Meditite.
Taught Buddah Rock Tomb.
Headed to the bike shop where Cynthia came and gave me an egg, can't wait for it to hatch!
Afraid to go over the bike path, too much Flying and Electric types which all my Pokemon are weak against. :/
So time to grind.

Koga was easy...Dougie sweeping FTW! I love Nuzlockes...so much...btw for future reference do Wedlockes and Randomizers count as a challenge on this thread as well as their thread? Leonardo and Ulysses evolved at Silph. Co. Replaced Gizmo with Tweedledee after I caught Tweedledee and Tweedledum (both Snorlaxs) as the real Gizmo died recently and I didn't want him to die.

Well it happened! I lost my first attempt at a Platinum Nuzlocke, Having 4 pokemon weak to a magneton and then having crit hax was a bad thing! I did reset after losing to him and I am now training on route 210.
