I'd imagine that would require some ASM. If he used Black/White as a bases then it could be easier but there are no tools to help really hack those games.


Anyways, this is looking awesome indeed, can't wait until you insert the new sprites for the hero. I imagine waht you're doing is making maps to complete the Hoeen region before getting your hands dirty with the scripting itself.

Wow I'm just amazed. I had not heard about any progress in map hacking for the ds games. I really hope your keep working on this, I would love to see a play about beta if only to see the maps.

To view the models in the game and even add some to the maps.

I think; They export levels and maps to a .obj file
Opening it in 3DS Max allows them to move things around to make a new map.

This is very impressive work, I cannot imagine the amount of effort you have put into making this. This is what I would like to see in more DS hacks, and surely enough this stands out from the others. Though I would like to ask if there will be Hoenn music in the game. If there isn't, I know someone who will be able to help you in that area. He's very skilled and he has done some themes for me in my hack. So if your interested in recruiting my friend I will let him know.

There will be. Spiky will make the music for him.

This is one of the coolest things I've seen on here.
The final touch would be the Brendan and May sprites
but from what I know, this is still fairly hard to achieve
on the NDS. So there's really nothing I can say!
