4th Generation: First Pokemon ever captured

In my Diamond, I first caught a Starly. I caught a Shinx in Platnium.
I don't exactly remember who I caught first in SS... I think it might have been a Mareep. Not too sure, though.

In SoulSilver, my first caught Pokemon would be either a Pidgey or a Sentret. Or was it a Ratata? I don't remember.

In Pearl and Platinum, it would have to be either Bidoof or Starly.

In Pearl, I caught a Shinx in the route above Sandgem town. I named him Shadow because Luxray's hair reminds me of Shadow's quills, lol.

Either after capturing my first Pokemon or after finishing some battles, not sure, I also got Pokerus that early in Pearl.

As for HGSS, my first capture was a Pidgey. I named him Peanuts, after my original Pidgey in Gold.

In Pearl, I caught a Bidoof. Named him "HM SLAVE".
In SS, I caught a Sentret, also named "HM SLAVE".

In all seriousness i caught a shinx first. First ever? A pidgey. Because im anime-canon like that

In my SoulSilver, I caught... a Hoothoot... because it was already evening when I caught it.

When I got Pokemon Pearl, I was lucky enough for the first Pokemon I caught in Gen IV was a Shinx that I nicknamed Lithium for it being an electric type.

but the second and third time it was bidoof in both games

I first played Heartgold/Soulsilver at night so my first wild Pokemon to be caught was a Hoot-hoot! :D In Diamond I recall it being a Starly. :)

DPPt, it was probably Bidoof or Starly. As for HGSS, I know the first thing I caught in SS was a Hoothoot. I was really excited that my copy had arrived (first time I got an imported game), but it was night time when I started playing. I just decided to catch stuff I saw even though they were old Pokemon, but you know, it was a new game. And the first thing I ran into was a Hoothoot I thought I wouldn't keep. I named her Cool and took her all through the game with me. n___n This is probably why I like owls so much now and Noctowl became one of my favorites because of this playthrough. So yeah!
