This game looks.. GREAT! I can't wait to play it although.. The graass starter looks like you mixed a bulbasaur a zoura. I also have a suggestion for an area. Like a hidden lake that you have to go through a secret area to get to and in it you find like a rare item. Also the banners are outdated but.. this game is THE BEST IVE EVER SEEN IN MY ENTIRE ****ING LIFE!!!!

So, basically... a lake grotto? There's already one in the game.

Yes, it is.

However, I am the only person on the team as of now. Both of my composers have things to do, so I'm left all alone to work on things. My co-owner quit, so I'm at a loss where to turn. Expect even slower updates.

The Fire starter, it kinda reminds me of Oshawott. Was it an inspiration/base that you used?

Yes, the main inspiration was indeed Oshawott; I found it to be cute, so thus was the birth of Lavapho! Thanks for the kind words, as well. I appreciate them.

I have been practicing spriting, and I am pleased to say I am improving! This is going to go a long way for this game.

Good news, everyone! My co-owner has returned, and I'm no longer sulking around! Our three legendaries are being redesigned, and Astulua is almost complete. I'm in the process of inking her, and then Theemos will be next. If there are any fakes you all wish to see, let me know! I'm working on some, especially for the Gym Leaders.

Hey there, guys!
I've got a big update coming, so you all just hang tight with me! The protagonists are almost done, and I've been practicing my spriting!

As you can see, I'm still learning how to emulate the HG/SS mug style, but I think it came out pretty good! I'm still modifying Flaire until I like how show looks. Right now, I'm very content with it. So, this might be her default style for now. Also, here is another version of the battle sequence showcasing the female protagonist, Anabelle. Yes, I forgot her hat, but I'm much too lazy to add it in. Credit goes out to Luka S.J. for the script!

Firstly the layout style of the thread itself is appealing enough. Looks beautiful, simple and good to look at.

Then comes the storyline. It is pretty cool due to these reasonable facts :

★It is simple. Simple is good, because no-one wants something very generically stupid like :
"You had an epic dream in which some stupid guy told you that you have some big destiny blah"

★A little bit of surprise and pump, not too much, that makes it interesting.

★The backstory of the legends... well, it's being revised, isn't it?

And the characters appear to be revised a bit? Anyhow, I guess you have to have most of the characters sprited yet...
Team Nemesis look OK, I'll skip to the screenshots.

How come the Pokémon we encounter seem to be Turtwig, Squirtle and Torchic? I thought there were Fakemon starters...

I guess you haven't sprited Hydrake's backsprite...

This looks beautiful, and to be honest, I look forward to Pokémon Zicron/Ironed Heart.

The layout has gotten a makeover, thanks to Abnegation! Once he gets back from his hiatus, I will get the CSS from him and completely rework the thread. I've got some updates I need to add, but I'm waiting to redo the entire introductory post. Mostly everything is being revised, or just being reworked in general.

The storyline is simple, as you said. I need to flesh it out some more, but I do have some ideas that I'd like to throw around here and there. I have a few plot twists and other surprises, but I need to flesh them out! The story will always be updating. I have the three legendary Pokémon but the mascot Pokémon is still being worked on, but Arceus will be involved. I can't give too much away, as it would spoil the entire story. The starter Pokémon are Fakémon, but I have yet to work on their overworld. They'll be done soon, though. Hydrake's backsprite is done, the screenshots are outdated. I should update them soon...

Yes, it's real.

No, it's not.
At least not yet.

It's a promotional image, meant to draw attention to the thread. The battle itself is real, just not the Black/White battle enhancements, nor is the sprite animation real. I hope it could be, but my animator is on a permanent hiatus for now.

How are you downloading?
There's no release and there is certainly no download link...
