No hats, balanced weapons, maps and no crashes ever 5 minutes?

If only I could get my Skin mods onto the XBox...

Well my buddy Stepith DID just get The Orange Box recently, if Zero and Boem get it too then a free for all would be pretty sweet.

Never played TF2, but I don't understand the concept of playing FPS games with a controller. That must be awkward as hell.

I first played Half-Life on the PS2 and I loved the lock-on system

good times, good times...

some pc games have lock on targeting, but most PC Fps's don't, which is kinda sad

we've not all uber-reflexive nerds you know

I'll stick to the RPG games that I play, which even then isn't much.

/just doesn't get the chance to play many video games in general.

Lock-ons? What? ;_;
What are these things you speak of? Aiming is what makes the games fun.

With lock-on systems it changes from an FPS to a Point and Click.

Though there aren't that many FPS I've enjoyed in recent years. They've become dry and mostly static, from my POV. It's sad, really; we need innovation.

Which reminds me, there's hardly any talk of video games here. Brakes mah hawt.

Well, I don't have the time to play much on the games front, but I can see the need of innovation. The big yearly FPS games especially seem dull as hell.

Though most of my FPS goodness comes from the half life series and borderlands (and more recently bioshock, and... mirrors edge I guess? Not much shooting there though), and for now that satisfies me. :P

I'd talk about Journey or Football Manager.

Nobody wants to talk about Journey or Football Manager

>someone mentioned Journey

Damn fun game. Was only a couple of hours long, but it is one of the few games that managed to make me cry and the first to make me experience a... cathartic moment. (b'-')b

.....Unless you speak of the band. They're pretty beast too :U

Yuuichi Nakamura (Clannadman, Greed) voicing N in my Pokeymans. Splendid.

Good morning thread!!! Got a lecture about level-design today, hopefully I can learn a few tricks when it comes down to mapping. I'm looking forward to it, even though it forced me to get up at 5 in the morning XD.
