I'm gonna be honest, I never even thought about the possibility of a Light-type. I never really considered there to be and imbalance with dark types, since they are weak to both fighting- and bug-type. But now that I've seen this thread, you've managed to make me like fighting-types more than I already did. I think I'll have a new appreciation for Heracross

This is actually pretty brilliant. Even if it's not a literal light type, it more or less is a metaphorical one. And to make a light-type, moves like Sunny Day, Moonlight, Sunlight, Solarbeam, Mirror Shot (and now Dazzling Gleam) and so on would probably have to have their types changed to make it happen.

Good Idea A light Type:-

Super effective on dark and Psychic!
50% 50% against an electric and Fairy Type!
Not very effective against Normal and Bug and FLying Type!
