When you are on trips, do you take tons of pictures?

When you take pictures (in general, not necessarily on trips) are they of people or of objects/landscapes?

I take a few pictures on trips only of the really cool stuff, and usually never have people in my photos.

(on a side note, this is my 888th post. triple digits, aw yeah)

I used to. I'm big on photography, and love capturing moment that trips would give. But a while ago, my camera got all glitchy, and I've yet to fix it. Not sure if I will, or if I'll just go ahead and buy a DSLR. Those are so much easier to use.

Not "tons". I do like to be take pictures and record videos during trips, though, because I probably will forget details a week later haha.

No I do not take any photos when I go for a trip, but my Boyfriend and daughter do take tons of photos of the buildings and scenery if we are out of the country. I would take photos myself if my camera worked.

I take tons of pictures on the road during trips. Road signs, gas stations, random attractive old cars we pass, and every Quality Inn we see on the trip. Once we get to the destination, not so much.

In general I photograph mostly people when I'm at events like anime conventions, and landscapes almost anywhere else. In particular I'm noted for extensively photographing any hotel I stay at.

Nope, and my friends are bothered by it because apparently it's really rare to not take pictures when you go to the beach or the zoo or anywhere. It's such a hassle. Unless I meet someone famous or find some kind of strange thing that I'll never see again (not landmarks; more like a face in my Dorito), I won't take any pictures.

Not tons, no.. but I will take some for memories. Usually of people if I'm with them than just landscapes.. or I'll take something artistic if I have a camera and not using my phone. I used to take landscapes but later found that the pictures of people are generally nicer to look back on :3

I myself am not an avid photo-taker, but my family always takes loads and loads of photos during holidays, sometimes enough to fill up 2 to 3 memory cards. Those pictures include both people and the environment/landscapes - basically everything and anything that's interesting and eye-catching. That once-in-a-lifetime moment such as a famous celebrity or something out of the ordinary I have to take. I, however, am not the type to take photos. Even if I am surrounded by the most breathtaking nature or the most wondrous sight I've ever seen, I would most likely just stop and take in all that moment has to offer me. Of course, I do take those few photos for memory's sake, but not hundreds and hundreds of them (exaggeration intended). I believe that experiences shouldn't be all about taking photos, but instead experiencing that exact moment to the fullest. If you just concentrate on getting the best shots, that moment will be over before you know it and that's a lot more to regret.

I usually do take picture whenever I'm on vacation or a trip. I feel like I need someway of documenting what happened so I can have those memories later on. I usually have my own camera or buy a disposable one and take about 20-40 pictures depending on how long the trip is and how much time I have to take pictures. Usually I take picture of the famous landscapes or other things I find interesting. Sometime just random pictures of a friend or family member doing something funny or posing with something too.

I take pictures everytime I have my camera with me specially during vacations or field trips.
I like taking pictures of flowers, objects, and specially animals. Strangely, animals pose for me instead of running away or trying to kill me.

I used to take pictures of scenery that interested me on trips. Now I don't have a camera, so I don't do that. If I take pictures, it's of people only, and maybe 1 or 2 tops since it'll be on my phone and I don't want to clutter it. And it's got to be really interesting.

Not usually. I'll take pictures of things I think are funny or neat, or of specific places I want to share, but I don't like to put myself in the pictures and I don't actually look back at them once I've shown one or two people after the trip, so it's probably more hassle than it's worth to take the pictures at all. :s I only use my phone, though, so it's not that much of a hassle. I'd probably still have it with me anyway, even if I wasn't taking quick pictures or videos.

The only vacations I've been on recently were Disney World this year and Universal Studios last year. I took lots of pictures of the attractions at both that interested me (or might interest family members) but the bulk of the trip went undocumented because it was a lot more fun to just spend time with friends and do things rather than try to take pictures and experience the whole thing from behind a lens. (Which I tend to get caught up in if I have my camera out to take pictures.)

Not usually. Only pics that seem to be funny or pics that amuse me in any way :3. I also like taking pictures with my friends or family whenever I'm with them. But I usually also take pictures of the places that look really nice from far or maybe near. Don't go on trips that much anymore :3.

I usually take pics on scenery and living things. Rarely on people especially on special occasions.

It's been years since I went on a trip, but I'm a big documenter. I don't like to forget anything, so I take pictures of everything I think I might ever want to remember in the future, and that makes it difficult to actually enjoy myself because I'm spending most of my time making sure I don't forget how much I enjoyed myself

The last place I took tons of photographs was around the Mediterranean Sea area, i.e Malaga, Rome, Valencia, Corsica etc. Usually I take pictures of people I know standing beside a landmark or just when they're enjoying themselves.

I usually go through the camera later on and delete any pictures that seem useless.

I don't get to travel much, when i do, I go overboard taking photos. I sort of try to document everything, since I know that I won't be back in years (by then things might change). I will upload them to Facebook, not every photo, just a few selected photos I want to share.
