My bet is Carol dying. I'd hate to see it happen, but she doesn't last beyond the prison arc in the comic if they really want to unhinge Daryl, that'll be the thing that does it. Or Judith, I guess because she doesn't live after the prison either sooooo.
Jelli, add Morgan to the maybe list.
Lastly, the Governor has to go. ;( Like, I love what they've done with his character and whatnot... but unless he has a total epiphany and becomes a good guy, I'd be really, really disappointed to see him in season 4 omg
Ah yes Morgan I added him to the maybe list. I forgot about him, but I do see a possible return with an inevitable death.
I like the idea Alexia, I'm on board. However, for it to happen, I'd need confirmation that at least two other people would want to do it as well, so it'd be the four of us. But yeah, it's a neat idea.
Just one question, when exactly would we make our prediction? Right after the Season Finale?
Why haven't I been active in this club omg :( THE END OF LAST EPISODE WAS SO SAD MY GOD, I WAS TOTALLY EXPECTING IT BUT I FELT SO BAD FOR DARYL. Also I'm glad Rick and Merle made the right decision in not handing over Michonne over to the governor who would obviously torture her. Speaking of torture, I wonder what will happen to Andrea next episode??
And I'd be down for the death prediction thing, sounds fun!
Seeing as the next episode is the last episode, I'm going to hazard a guess and say that Andrea dies trying to kill the governor. Likely in the sight of Michonne. :c
And four people's enough for the prediction game. Anyone else wanna join, feel free to. Alexia, you got my permission. ;D
YAY, sure! I'll get right to work! Since there's no rush on this.. I'm going to gather a list of acceptable "main characters" for you guys to choose from, then you can place them in either the "died" or "survives" category, makes sense? (Cause anyone can list "walker 1, 2, 3....100, 101, 102" dies and then win the competition.) So I'll compose an entry form with characters to choose to keep everything fair. :D
**I had lots typed here but then I decided to reserve the rules for when I actually do everything. xD I will follow up with everyone on due dates and restrictions once I polish this idea a tiny bit more. **
And Blood, are you implying that DEATH PREDICTION COMPETITION isn't a cool name? Because the only thing that could make that name cooler is sunglasses. ;p lmao jkjk, I'll come up with something tight for ya. And I'll PM you with my form/layout so you can make any changes you'd like because you're the king of this thread! :D
Welcome to the first ever TWD prediction competition! Below is a list of characters, all of which are available for selection and distribution in the two respective categories; "dies" and "survives". This competition begins the day of the season 3 finale and ends the day season 4 finishes, at which point, we will tally up the pool and see who made the most accurate prediction! Please PM your entrance forms to me, and I will post them in the main thread and cross out names as season 4 unfolds. Character added to the main cast during season 4 will be available for selection at either my or Bloodex's discretion and at any point we reserve the right to make amendments to the character list. So, who do you think will live to see another season? Place your bets now! And remember, small prizes available to the winner!
Philip (The Governor)
remember to PM me with your predictions, do not post them in this thread!

The season finale was done perfectly, or near perfectly in my opinion. Andrea died a hero's death, and despite how much I loathed her, I nearly cried. :c Milton's death was really sad, too, but damn did he last long.
What really got to me was how Carl just shot Jody or whatever that kid's name was in the head when he was surrendering. I literally went "holy ****". That, and the Governor going insane. Like actually. TWD's Facebook page said like 24 or 27 people would die, I should've guessed it was that group. :c
Andrea shouldn't have died. Totally ruined my Rick x Andrea power couple dreams. ;( Oh well, at least they're still going steady in the comic.
Love, love, love how Rick and the group took in like.. a hundred stray Woodburians. That's going to be such a mess. xD Kind of doesn't forebode well for Rick's step-down from power. And Carl.. wtf.
Any one who read the comics, I have a question... think they're trying to replicate when Carl killed Ben (who killed Billy) with this whole shooting? Because they do ring similar to some extent.. what with Carl using his own judgement in deciding who is dangerous. Plus, they were both the easiest kills for Carl sooo... I'm not sure they're /just/ using this to develop Carl's character in show.
Also, remember Rick's "you kill, you die" law? I love how The Governor stated the literal and polar opposite of that. xD
Overall, I've a bit 50/50 on the season finale. I mean.. I couldn't image it ending any other way but..
It makes sense that the Governor didn't die, I should have expected it in all honesty. I haven't gotten that far into the comics, but if I hear right, there are only two main scenes after the prison? A hit show like this would definitely drag it out, ya know?
Also, Alexia, Allen is dead (referring to the prediction chart). The Governor went bam right into his forehead.
As I promised, here are some rather interesting news updates from the last few days.
‘The Walking Dead’ Alternate Ending: Milton’s Original Death Plan

Milton’s Alternate Death On ‘The Walking Dead’ Season Finale
“Originally, the beating scene that started the episode wasn’t there,” Dallas explained to Entertainment Weekly. “Originally, I showed up and was led into the room where Andrea was and I took the tools out – the instruments of torture that were laid on the table – and then he shot me in the stomach, completely unexpectedly. And then I was left to bleed out in the same idea basically – you’re going to kill her now.”
“There was a lot more of Milton trying to open the door and him trying to free her from the chains,” continued Dallas. “And then there was a section where he was going to wrap the chain around the neck and try to choke her to death before he turned so she wouldn’t have to deal with Walker Milton, or Biter Milton, as it were.”
“And then at the end of that, it was just Tyreese and someone else who found her. Rick and Daryl and Michonne weren’t there. So it was essentially the same idea, except you saw me taking chunks out of Laurie Holden in that version. And then they called us back a few months later to reshoot it and made all those changes.”

So the last episode wasn’t about the war, it was about who is becoming what in that world. Carl, what he has become, Rick what he has become, what Daryl has become. That’s the intro into season 4.”
Norman also revealed the governor isn’t the only character going down a dark path, “[Carl's] dark right now. I think he’s going to get much darker. I think all of us are real dark right now.”

The Walking Dead: Three Actors Promoted to Series Regular Status for Season 4

When The Walking Dead returns in October, Rick Grimes will have some more full time help. The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that Chad Coleman (Tyreese), Sonequa Martin-Green (Sasha) and Emily Kinney (Beth) will all be upped from recurring to series regular/opening credit status for Season 4.
Kinney has been on the show since the start of Season 2, while Coleman and Martin-Green were introduced in Season 3. While an elevated role for Coleman was expected (his character being quite a popular one from the comic), it will be interesting to see if Kinney's new status means Beth finally gets more storylines moving forward. Martin-Green's character, Tyreese's sister, was invented for the series. Martin-Green also has an important recurring role on Once Upon a Time these days.
These promotions follow the news THR reported earlier this week that David Morrissey (The Governor) will remain a series regular in Season 4 as well.
Interestingly, there still is no word on Scott Wilson being made a series regular, despite his character, Hershel, having had a prominent role for two years now.
Update: As was pointed out in the comments, Melissa McBride, who plays Carol, also is technically still a guest/recurring actor on the show, despite being in every season. Ah, the intricacies of contracts and who gets what deal in Hollywood... We'll see if either Wilson or McBride also get a promotion before Season 4 begins.
Also updating the first post to match with current events, including the brand new prediction game which all of you should totally join. =P Anyways, in regards to the news, what I'm most happy with is how Tyreese and Beth are getting bigger roles, especially the former. Tyreese is such a badass in the comics, so it's about time they made him a bigger star in the show. It'll be interesting his interaction with Rick, considering how close they are in the comics.
Also, new topic of the week: What are your hopes for Season 4?
-Daryl - he's just a badass who really cares about his people. I love his skills and personality. :3
-I got T-Dog. :3
I'm really excited for Season 4. I just caught up with TWD and watched six episodes in three days, so it was insane. Merle's death was like omg epic with how he took out eight people. I just loved it. In the finale, I was shocked when the Governor just went crazy. I'm wondering if he'll recruit more people while he's out there doing ~whatever~. Martinez and the silent brute will listen to what he says, mainly out of fear really. They've also done some pretty terrible things
Alexial: I can't believe you think that they'd kill a baby on TV...
Alexial: I can't believe you think that they'd kill a baby on TV... :(
ANLIUDNFlsnda;ng I never said I wanted her to die! D: BUT SHE DID IN THE COMIC OKAY?!?!
Besides, I figured AMC had a rule against killing kid on TV.. but then that whole thing with Sophia happened and that theory went out the window. I'm just sayin' I wouldn't put it past Kirkman to kill off Judith. ;o;
Anyway... hopes for season four.
I mean, do I really need to say it? You guys already know what I'm going to say.
TANKS ;( I can even settle with armored vehicles of some kind. Heck, I'll even reduce that to turret mounted ATVs or something. Honestly, just gimme back Dale's RV and have the Governor throw darts out of it. Anything that actually impacts the story in a significant way. I just want to finally see the climax between Woodbury and the prison.
