1. I presume you're going to update that copyright so it's no longer 0xRH?
2. Since you have both 2nd and 3rd Gen tools in this, are you planning to add other Gen tools, such as Gen 1 and 4/5?

I actually prefer the installer but I never liked having to keep rebuilding it.

1. Eventually. It's not really a priority.
2. Probably not. The gba games are my main interest.

One change I'd love to see to XSE is the ability to use #dyn as well as #dynamic

I was not the first to discover that. There are actually a few posts floating around PC (that I have sadly lost track of) which have found far more uses for the command than the one I found.

However, it would be a nice inclusion. Also, the ability to edit commands might be nice in an advanced mode type of thing. For example, if you were good enough at ASM to take one of the useless commands (the one's that just push LR and then pop PC, effectively doing nothing) and create your own, it would be nice to alter the command database to accommodate that new command.

Just some thoughts for you!

Ok guys here is the slightly better XSE!

There are only two main differences between this one and the old one:

*Searches for FF as the free space byte when compiling to Emerald.
*The bug where XSE closes because it is checking for updates should be fixed.

Hey, since you're fixing bugs in XSE, could you fix the bug that stops it from reading more than one level script of the same type? For example, in a level script currently decompiled in XSE:

#raw word 0x4092
After that last #raw word 0x4092 is another level script of the same type, but XSE cuts off before reading the rest.

Huh, that's never happened to me. Try setting refactoring on when decompiling?

It might be an Emerald-only glitch.

No, I'm betting it's that Hackmew thought that there could only be one level script of the variable-setting types. It does the same in FR with the Safari Zone type 2 level scripts, for example. It just reads the first type 2 level script and stops.

That would explain why in FR, it's impossible to find the script on Cinnabar Island where Bill takes you to One Island.

I have upload a new program call "LearnedMovesToJambo". Please refer to the first post for more information.


I have also updated Pokemon Game Editor. The only noticeable new thing is that there are more things in the ini that are used by the program. One being the terminator byte for Jambo's learnable move format. The other is stuff for searching for free space which isn't really used yet.
