The ability Forewarn doesn't work. Not only does it not work, it crashes the game.

This is with an unmodified essentials.

I'm pretty sure Frisk works the same way.

This only happens if the Forewarn park is YOUR OWN pokemon, it seems to work for the enemy. If you switch the pokemon in, the ability does not activate at all.

Also, as an aside, and this is less important, Sitrus Berries heal 30 HP as they did in RSE, but nowadays they heal 25% of your maximum HP.

I fixed the Forewarn's bug. It was simple.

Search in PokeBattle_Battler the line:
move=moves[pbRandom(moves.length)]

Change to:
move=moves[@battle.pbRandom(moves.length)]


EDIT: For Frisk it is necessary to do the same thing:

Search in PokeBattle_Battler the line:
item=items[pbRandom(items.length)]

Change to:
item=items[@battle.pbRandom(items.length)]

Also, if you place an event with the graphic of one of the bridges over water, there is a reflection. But when you attempt to surf below it, you are under the reflection rather then on top. I've tried several attempts to solve this visual cosmetic issue but gave up after 30 min.

I was in Editor.exe and was trying to create a new trainer in a fresh copy of essentials. My result:
Anyways, whenever I attempt to create a new trainer it comes up with this on a fresh copy of essentials:

Trying to add the VS sequence, I've added VS_BAR_SWITCH=Number of switch to line 262 of the Settings in scripts, and an error comes up:

undefined local variable or method 'switch' for nil:NilClass

Now I've tinkered around with it and I change Number of Switch to "true" it allows me to play the game but once the sequence is supposed to commence, another error comes up.

Pokemon Essentials 11 already has a built in VS. Sequences. Want me to teach you how to use them?

The move Perish Song doesn't work. It doesn't even display a "Failed" message, it just ends your turn immediately. It DOES seem to be coded, but no pokemon ever gets a perish count.

Also, I ran into a strange bug. The opponent used Drain Punch on me, and when they absorbed HP, it kept waddling back and forth as if it couldn't decide what number to land on - I had to close the game. They DID have Big Root attached, so that may have an effect.

That Drain Punch thing is definitely Big Root's effect. If you look back a little bit, I believe Maruno posted a fix for that.

I happen to be going through the move/ability/item effects nowadays, so if you've got any more bugs involving them, now's your chance.

Please try to restrict your reports to only those effects which are supposed to exist already.

The "Call" battle option never appears and "scent" items only works when the pokémon is in the Hyper Mode as said in http://www.pokecommunity.com/showthread.php?t=301157

Couple more notes you may or may not have noticed.

- Weak Armor is slightly messed up - It's supposed to change your stats AFTER you are hit, not before. The way it is now, you'll take a -def hit on the first move used on you, which makes the ability worse.

- I'm less certain on this one, but according to Smogon, Aqua Ring and Ingrain have their HP amount healed increased by Big Root.

1. That's been mentioned before, and when I get round to looking at the abilities, I'll look into it.

2. Big Root already has those effects.

I'm having an error that shows up after the title screen. It shows up a few hours after I start making the game - I've seen it a few times now.

An alert pops up and says:
Script 'Scene_Intro' line 78: NameError occurred.

uninitialized constant IntroEventScene::PBSpecies

now I figured out this is an error with the titlescreen pokemon's cry, but I haven't touched that script - or any scripts - at all so I don't know why it's doing this.

Another note for when you're looking at abilities- I've had a player inform me that a Pokemon with Hustle used Work Up, and the Work Up attack missed. Self-targeting moves shouldn't affected by the accuracy decrease

Amulet Coin don't works if the pokémon holding it becomes faint. In the official games this don't happens.

It's known that Work Up is currently defined with the wrong target option, but that shouldn't affect the accuracy check - its accuracy is 0 and therefore should automatically pass it. Hustle has nothing to do with it. Maybe you've changed something?

Okay. Amulet Coin (and Luck Incense) should always work so long as their bearer has been in battle.

I encountered a bug when your rival that you are able to name(and presumably any trainers named by the players) is registered as the partner trainer, it will show the 'hidden' name. It is nothing major or game breaking, but it's there.

Bug in the latest version of Unmodded Essentials, Version 12: Setting Encounters.
When attempting to set a new type of encounters on a location, the game crashes and gives you an error report. Report is as follows:

also, on the version 12 downloaded this morning.
when u speak to your mom and grab the pokedex then walk in grass till encounter happens.

if you then open de pokedex it crashes the game with error
