How do I create a script that checks for the number of different pokemon species the player has caught.

Did you know there are also other neat things on the wiki too.
Daycare
Bridges
Side Stairs
Roaming Pokémon
And even information on Eggs

Maybe take a look over there, you may learn a lot more than you think.
