Every post in the main Trade Corner forum must have at least 4 words and 25 characters. Posts such as "what's your fc?" and "ok I'm getting online" made in the main forum will be considered as spam. Actual trading belongs in the sub-forum, Trade Plaza.
All threads will undergo moderator approval before being displayed.
To reduce clutter, all threads will go through a moderator's approval before threads can become visible on the forum. Please do not bother moderators asking if or when your thread will be approved. We will get to your thread as soon as possible.
— Anyone is free to make a challenge in the main forum.
— All challenges are to be centered around trading and/or trading related activities
— Do not abandon your own challenge midway through. If you neglect your own thread, you will not be allowed to create any future challenges.
— Do not create a duplicate of a challenge or claim another member's challenge as your own.
— A studio requires a minimum of 20 different species of Pokémon in order for it to be approved.
— There is a limit of one studio per person.
— All studio owners are required to display their OT and ID.
— Studio owners are prohibited from displaying Pokémon not original to the owner's OT/ID combination with the exception of in-game gift/traded Pokémon and event Pokémon.
— Avoid shallow posts when possible (i.e. "Nice" or "I like your Pokémon"). Please make an effort with your posts by explaining what you like about said member's studio and/or Pokémon.
— When posting a critique of a member's studio, be sure to provide constructive criticism and advice to help said member in his/her future prospects. We will not tolerate any kind of disrespect towards another member.
— Do not negotiate for Pokémon or services in a studio; that's what a shop is for.
— All discussion topics must be based around trading and/or trading related activities.
— Please respect everyone's opinions. In other words, NO FLAMING!
— Do not create a duplicate of a thread that is currently active.
— Discussions in the main forum may be bumped indefinitely.
Think you're the best at trading? The fastest? The thriftiest? Well put your skills to the test! Welcome to Speed Trading. Speed Trading is a contest to see who's the best of the best. Trade with as many people as you can, as fast as you can. Only one trader will be crowned champion. Will it be you?
Be sure to have a box full of 30 Pokémon you are willing to trade. Don't trade Pokémon with limited distribution if you are uncomfortable with mass distribution. Once the sign up period ends, be sure to check back here. I'll announce random 3 numbers from 1-30 each day. An example would be; 5, 13, 28. These numbers are assigned to your Pokémon as they appear in your box.
All participants are free to approach each other and ask to trade once 3 random numbers have been called out. During your trade, each participant will offer 3 Pokémon that correspond to the numbers called out. In this example it would be 5, 13, and 28. Participants will pick one of the 3 Pokémon being offered from the other participant and trade. Once you've completed your trade, seek out another participant to trade and repeat the process. Each successful trade you make with another participant counts as 1 point. BUT WAIT, there's a TWIST! Lurking around the Pokémon Wi-Fi Club there's an elusive trainer who goes by the name, Lucky. If you can find this trainer and trade with him, you'll get a 5 point boost! Keep your eye out for him; you'll never know when he might show up in the Pokémon Wi-Fi Club. Write down Lucky's information in your Pal Pad.
→ All Trade Corner rules apply.
→ Do NOT trade hacked Pokémon. (It's included above, but I'll say it anyways.)
→ Respect all distribution rights if applicable.
→ Consecutive trades with the same participant are not allowed. You may only trade with the same participant after you've traded with 2 other participants. This applies to the elusive trainer, Lucky, as well.
→ Do not negotiate trades. This is about speed. Get in, get out.
→ Do not spam this thread.
→ To know that you read the rules and how the event works, include the phrase found at the end of the FAQ.

How do I keep track of my trading history?
Edit the post you made for your sign up form to keep track of your trading history.
Do I need to place all of my Pokémon in Box 1 or can it be any box?
Any free box you have will do. It doesn't need to be Box 1. That was just used as an example.
What if I can't find people to trade with on PokéCommunity?
You can always go on Trade Corner's irc channel, #TradeCorner. You can find it here.
What if I get disconnected from a trade?
You may try to reconnect with said participant. If you are disconnected with the elusive trainer, Lucky, you may try to reconnect with him if he's still around. He's elusive after all. ;D
What if I received a Pokémon in a trade that I wanted to keep?
If you want to keep a Pokémon, simply switch it for one of your own.
What if someone scams me?
You'll be fully reimbursed for the Pokémon you have lost.
What if I scam other participants?
You'll receive an infraction and be banned from future events.
