I'll be pretty impressed if you can get 6 evos for one mon on Ruby. It's not impossible, but I'm surprised that anyone would pull it off and *not* go the full distance and add Glaceon as well.

Well I've worked around that problem with an easy fix that ties in well with an event in the story. I have it to where instead of a stone evolution, it'll be like a scenario where you choose which eeveevolution you want and instead just replace your current eevee with a new eeveelution that you chose. See, I don't know ... Glaceon just never really showed me any appeal, I mean why add an ice eeveelution when you already have a water type? Why not go for a different type that's not so closely related? Do you think I should add Glaceon?

Oh right, forgot about that old thread about changing species in Ruby. I thought you were doing something more sophisticated to get things to evolve properly- that explains it.

With regards to Glaceon I feel it'd be better to keep it, as it does have merits (130 satk stab blizzard plz) over Vaporeon, but it's your hack so do what you want.

I've never read that thread Another thing you could do is create a duplicate eevee in the pokedex so that if you were given a choice on which stone you'd want and you chose leaf stone or I don't know how you'd implement for like glaceon.. ice stone? Ha. But when you chose the other eeveelutions that couldn't fit the first eevee, it just replaces your current eevee with a new eevee which is also the duplicate eevee. But eh, I have a different plan in mind.

As for Glaceon, I mean I suppose I could add it. Doesn't hurt to

I also think it'd be best to add Glaceon. It feels complete to have both eeveelutions from a generation rather than just one. While I'm no battle stragegist, I do believe there are enough differences between water and ice type to make sense. Besides, Glaceon's adorable! <3

1. Something I didn't spot originally, your mountains are not level. If you look at the section I have circled it somehow overlaps the rest of the mountain, but meets the ground at the same place. When doing mountains the best thing to do is to map layer-by-layer, to help avoid this. You might also want to make the edge of the mountain more jagged, less uniform and straight to give it a more natural look.

2. I've circled some of the long grass, this type of grass does not match the map, imo. It's normally used in wet environments (so, near water) and should be used en mass rather than small patches. Stick with small grass for this map.

3. I've circled one of the pathways. If you look here you can see that (a) the path is narrow almost constantly 1.5 blocks, as the tops of the trees cover some of the bottom. The best thing to do would to make it more irregular and also one tile wider. (b) the majority of this map can be transversed by holding down a button - especially this circled big, it's one straight line.

4+5, on the right hand side, link back to these trees. For one thing, the two types of tree you have at the bottom do not mesh well together - one is a large tree, the other is a smaller, mangrove shrub thing. I would recommend sticking to the larger tree - another flaw with the smaller, R/S tree is how bad it looks when you have them linked together - it makes anything past the first layer look like a carpet of trees and exceptionally boring.

I'm afraid it's been a while since I've mapped, so I don't have any fresh examples, but this map kind of shows a less uniform tree line. Many of the trees are at different levels, there are also 'side' paths (such as a surfable area) and a ledge to mean the map is different depending on your direction.

I hope that this helps and isn't just tedious to read.
Alright, I changed the theme of this map completely and tried to fix certain things but maybe I created new things? Besides obvious tile errors, let me know what you think:

Well things like experience examples obviously don't need to be posted for beta testers. Just fill out the basic info and leave those spots blank

The story behind this is so different to anything else i have seen on here, it has really got me interested and from the few screen shots of the island it looks like it is going to look very nice and clean, as soon as this has come along a bit more i would love to LP it just to see what happens in the story XP

Updated some new screenshots, as well as some information and added new members to the PD Team. As for progress, things are going well and smoothly. Added a lot of custom sprites made by the PD Team spriter on top of new maps with custom tiles which you can find credit for on the first page!

Thanks. Right now I'm trying to update a map since I didn't get so much positive feedback from it like I did the two maps before it, so I'm trying to spice it up.
