I'm the odd one out, I guess, becuase Majora's Mask is the only Zelda game I have played and completed; I did attempt Minish Cap back when it was first released. Loved the concept of the game, and Skull Kid's design is awesome. The final battle is horribly creepy and ominous. If I remember correctly, I did not sleep well the night I finished the game, haha!

Yes. And I hate you for it. I remember enjoying my free time...then you introduced me to AGDQ ;_;

But I really did enjoy it, so I'm looking forward to SGDQ.

I've been spending a lot of time in the Battlefield: Hardline beta after I got in, and... well, this might turn out to be my first multiplayer FPS where I can put up a decent fight. Huh.
Hey, it's Twiggy here. Or Twiggy, if you prefer. I like Servine and Noivern a lot. I'm paired with Kip. I like Katy Perry. I want a Chespin plushie. Also, I'm a total PC geek.

I got into that Beta for my brother...and he hasn't played it yet :/

And I sure won't play it, so it's just...sitting there.

I've been playing a lot of Mario Kart 8 lately. I'm also working on finishing up Ōkamiden so I can start Wind Waker HD

I've bought Mario Kart 8 a few days ago, and am enjoying it so far very much. My wi-fi isn't working, though, sadly, so for now, I'm not able to play online. Can't wait to get it fixed.

I suspect I won't make it to Rank 10 by the time the beta ends in BF: Hardline, but I suppose I enjoyed the experience.

I won't be paying full price for the game right now, though - I think I'll wait until it's on sale, digitally.

Sometimes I wish I had a Wii U, but there's no HDTV in my rom.

I'm with you, I'm never paying full price for any BF game again. Hardline is just BF4 reskinned and still broken.

I'm looking forward to ALBW and Banjo Tooie the most. Kinda wish they'd let someone play SM64. :/

After that one-handed playthrough last year, I'm satisfied.

The last one I played that I enjoyed was 1945, way back when. Good times.

Though 2 was really fun as well. Though I've gotta say, for 3, the music really took a swandive.

Only Battlefield game I bought was Battlefield 3. The only reason why I got that game was so that I would have an easier time of getting the Battlefield 3 Soldier in the Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer. Other than that, I saw no other reason for buying Battlefield 3.

There really isn't a reason to buy it, especially because it's always free nowadays.

So speedruns. They're fun.

Top runs so far:
-Mario 3D World
-Kirby Super Star
-Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon (hilarious)
-Sonic Unleashed
-Mega Man 3

Banjo Tooie was awful though. Why do they keep speedrunning these Banjo games? So damn long and boring. They also cut games that have been ran before but they allow ANOTHER DKC1 run which is only really entertaining the first watch, especially when DKC2 is much more fun to watch. Wish they'd add DKCR again, best speedrunning DKC game, even if it's a bit long in comparison.

No F-Zero GX this time makes me especially sad.
Not much to look forward to tomorrow.

No GX run this time? That's a shame, because GX is really the type of speedrun that'll keep the viewer on edge.

Tomorrow I'm looking forward to Bomberman Hero (to see some tricks from a childhood favorite), Super Meat Boy (Since that's one of those games that's made for it), and Touhouvania 2 (partially because I'm a huge Touhou fan, but more largely because I've played Touhouvania. I love hard games, and Touhou and Castlevania are certainly difficult, but I can't EVEN, this game. So I need to see it done well).

I don't really like speedruns for the simple fact that it's not too entertaining to watch, in my opinion. I appreciate the dedication it takes to do a speedrun, since I know it is a very difficult and challenging thing. But it's not really for me. :P

I watched some of the Pokemon speedruns, seeing that finally feel on a weekend to me. May be watching a few of the other highlights.

I find them entertaining in part of the glitch exploitation. It's neat (at least, for myself) to think how they're exploiting the programming to skip a whole section or even just get to the end. Heck, the ability for them to get older Pokemon games to execute code they write up is quite a solution to beating the game, although not quite how I remember playing the originals. =p

I agree that most speedruns aren't very entertaining, but I still love them. I think Super Mario 64 is probably the most entertaining to watch, since it's non-stop action and edge-of-your-seat suspense - not many games are like that.

The ALttP runs were definitely my favorite of this SGDQ, the commentary was excellent and the couch/donation comments were hilarious.

It's fun when the speedrun is actually legit - i.e. no glitches, hacks to diminish time such as in Ocarina of Time - but I do give mad props to the people who can find loopholes in the game to help them claim records.

I don't watch speed runs. But, I also don't watch let's plays.

I'm not big on this. I want to play. It feels like watching someone read a book to me.

I think there's a difference between Let's Plays and Speed Runs though.

For instance, with Let's Plays, all there is to it is someone playing a game. That's it. I've never been a fan of it myself, and I only watch Game Grumps (and there, it's for the commentary, mostly).

Prior to AGDQ, I'd assumed it would be boring just watching people beat games as quickly as possible, but it's surprisingly exciting (especially at GDQ). The stakes are high, the players are often daring, and it keeps you on the edge of your seat, especially when the speedrunner tries to do something particularly risky. Plus, if the speedrunner or the couch commentary is interesting or funny, it makes for an all around enjoyable experience. Not to forget that you can learn some pretty cool things by watching.
