ゆりあ

Is this teacher really all that competent? Yuria asked himself. People were falling from the sky, fires were starting, fights were breaking out, and Higoroshi was reading what must have been an extremely engrossing book by the pool.

Yuria directed Satomi to the locker room, where she'd be safer than all the students running off toward the sources of distress, and he ran off in one of those particular directions, at least to try and keep his classmates from dying. To be exact, he followed a couple of students whose names he didn't know, but they ran off for the woman that fell from the sky after getting some supplies (read: deadly weapons that kids shouldn't be allowed to have, youkai or not).

"…you part of Fairytale?" Four of the students were converging ahead of the woman, blocking her path onto school grounds. Getting people on their guard was one thing, but surviving a fall from the sky without much — if any — damage spelled enough danger to get Yuria on the defensive before he actually joined the other students.

He didn't bother saying anything; Yuria knew something was going to happen with so many students armed against someone that clearly held some sort of hostile intentions, and it would be easier to prepare when he wasn't noticed. His hair turned white and solidified in the shape of downward spikes, and patches of his bikini-clad skin crystallized. His hands were soon augmented by large claws of ice, and a thin armor hovered transparently against his torso.

Despite the protection, Yuria still refrained from getting too close to the other students — James, Chris, Cheryll and Sorae, though he failed to recognize some of them — he didn't know if anyone noticed him yet, and he wasn't sure whether he could actually help, especially against someone that stood up unscathed from falling out of the sky.

Maya Nami Kyuuketsuki
Chapter 3: Let's play!
Classroom 13

One by one, students were taken out by Solo. He seemed to be under control of something, esspecially since he growled pretty weirdly and kept moaning about how someone had to let him go. Nami was really confused by him and started wondering. "Are all Lycans like this?" She asked. Solo was about to blast again and Nami was getting herself ready to endure it instead of running away. She had to protect Takumi because these blasts could possibly kill him.

Nami, who hadn't changed to her Youkai form yet, glared at him as both Frio and Elise were unconscious on the ground. "Pfftt... I thought Lycans could do better than that." Nami joked as she looked away from him. Ofcourse it wasn't pleasant that her fellow students were unconscious but Frio always managed to get unconscious somehow and she wanted to taunt him to find out what was wrong with him.

Nami was still waiting for the blast to come at her and closed her eyes. What she didn't feel was the pain of the blast, however. She felt sudden sadness as she opened her eyes and saw Takumi laying in front of her. She realized what had happened and started to tear up. Takumi had protected her from the blast, ending up probably dead now. "T-Takumi..." She moaned as she had both hands in front of her mouth. She bend down next to him and pulled his upper body on her lap. "No..." She whispered as she gently hugged him and started crying. Solo had possibly killed her friend, her crush... there was no way she was going to forgive this. Not in one million years.

She suddenly thought about what her brother had told her when they were young. Vampires can also bring blood inside the body of their victims, like snakes pouring their poison inside the veins of the victim with their fangs. Maybe if she poured her blood inside the veins of Takumi... maybe he would get part of her immortality, maybe he could be saved. Nami had nothing to lose and exposed his neck. She hesitated a moment because giving him part of her blood could mean that he couldn't be called a human anymore, atleast... only if she continued doing that. "Only this time... only to save Takumi..." she thought before she bit him. Instead of sucking his blood, she poured a bit of hers in his veins. She would deal with Solo later, Takumi was more important than an annoying tyrant.

Divine
The Yandere Mermaid

Divine started to grin as a male student made his way towards her and took out weapons that shouldn't be beared by kids. "Don't you think it's impolite to just charge at me without any good reason?" Divine said as she waved with her finger. Looking as young as she was, she could also be a student. "I don't want to hurt you, i'm just looking for a teacher names "Ryuu", do you know him?" Divine asked the boy kindly. "I need to speak to him, y'know." Divine smiled gently at the boy.

It didn't take long before a shy girl with glasses tried to stop them from whatever they were doing. "Atleast one smart person here." Divine sighed in relieve as she thought they would bring her Ryuu now. This wasn't the case, however. Even more students started to gather in front of her and asked her if she was part of Fairytale.

"What if I am? I haven't attacked you yet so you have no reason to attack me." Divine gave her kindest grin and asked once again. "Will you please bring me Ryuu?"

Ryuu Higoroshi
Chapter 3: 3C's Homeroom teacher
Pool

Ryuu was reading when he heard a very familiar voice. He hid in his book as his face started to blush a little and showed an annoyed expression on the same time. He tried to ignore it until he noticed some students following the voice. Some of them were looking cautious and probably suspected someone from Fairytale.

"Ugh... I don't think she would hurt my students..." He said still annoyed, even though he knew this wasn't his best decision. He just didn't want to face that person yet.

Sorae

D-damn!

He began to worry a bit. Someone else came in, and as he looked at the girl straight into her her eyes, she spoke, asking for Ryuu secondly, but firstly giving the moot point that she hadn't attacked them, therefore they don't have an reason to attack her. And in that sense, she was right. Which tacked on to the list of her being quite- irk- beautiful, he had to admit, and not seeming like such an old lady up close- and also being pretty mysterious altogether. Not to mention that she seemed kind enough.

"Well, uh..."

Why the hesitation?

"You see, a member of Fairytale, he, well he..."

Why am I nearly unable to speak?

He shook his head and spoke clearly. "A member of Fairytale previously infiltrated the academy, and I don't think it would be just to let anyone in." He looked her up and down, as if inspecting her. "Besides the fact that you literally just fell from the sky-" he took a small breath "-it has also been noticed that more than one person fell. Not to mention something is literally burning-" Sorae waved his hand towards the forest somewhere over there And with such, I also think that someone wouldn't just happen to fall from the sky, especially if they were a student. Besides, why specifically request for Ryuu? Why not anyone else? Yuna, for example. I'm not sure if anyone just happened to fall from the sky, they would automatically know the teacher they were assigned to."

Sorae then grinned, and if this were an anime, a sweatdrop would have appeared on the side of his head. "Besides, Ryuu's probably too lazy to come here anyways, seeing as all he's done since we did our assignment is read a book."

Marie
~

Oblivious to the surrounding world, Marie entered the Academy's grounds to the tune of birdsong surrounding her steps and a fresh breeze rolling around her ankles. Although late by at least a few weeks, as she hadn't really taken a look at the paperwork, she was certain that she would be prepared for anything, unless the people that came to meet her were dumb-butts. She even did her hair just-so, and hiked up her school uniform a few inches to make sure that she looked extra appealing to the God of Youkai; she'd heard that he liked short skirts. Somewhere. Or she swore that she had. Whatever it was, she did it anyway, and skipped along to the entrance to the girl's dorm. It seemed as good a place as any to start, given the lack of an escort.

She softly knocked on the door of the girl's dorm with an ivory wand intended specifically for knocking, lest her delicate knuckles be bruised. She waited a few moments, heard no answer, then pushed her ear against the door and knocked on it with the ivory wand one more time, and still received no reply from the empty air within. Mary - stopped dead still and stared at the sky for a few moments - Marie put on her doorknob-turning gloves and twisted the golden handle open with a small twist of her palm and pushed it open all the way, only to come face to face with an elegant mask that covered somebody's entire face, who stood just far enough away that the door brushed past their nose.

The young Youkai's mouth fell agape at the sight of who waited for her; the assassin that had been hunting her since murdering her parents! And she got their faster, despite it being rush hour! Before she could make any further action, the assassin tackled her with telekinetically propelled shoulders that punched her gut like a keg of Vodka! The two of them went hurtling across the grounds outside the girl's dorm, twisting and turning int he air with Marie's flailing limbs scraping against the hard grit, which tore away her doorknob-turning glove to reveal the delicate skin and manicured nails beneath, until their flight tackling smashed into a nearby tree, which let loose a might crack with their collision.

The assassin, nimble and unhurt, leaped away from the tree with a well-placed kick that widened the split across the great tree's trunk, and the alcove in which Marie struggled to regain her composure. Marie scarcely saw the twirling flip of the assassin before she felt the weight of the tree begin to crush her, hurling herself out of the way before it inwardly collapsed on itself. She landed in a tight ball that allowed her to roll to her feet, just in time to spot a flying fist towards her beautiful face and duck beneath it, and finally gave herself an opportunity to go on the offensive! She jammed her head straight back up, hitting the assassin's center of mass and sending her crumbling forwards with the force of her own fist.

But the assassin was already back on her feet, from a handstand to cartwheel, by the time Marie looked back! With her ivory wand still clutched hopefully between her fingers, she bathed it in an aura of violet energy and hurled it at the assassin with a firm flick of her wrist, turning tail, literally, and fleeing before she could see where it collided. Hearing a sickening crack, she trusted that it had broken a bone, as she sprinted towards the sport court and scrambled over the fence. But, her hope was short lived, as two halves of the ivory wand, sharpened by their snapping by the assassin's flat palm, came hurtling after her, slicing off a lock of her not-gold hair while the other barely skimmed between her thighs in a way that was probably metaphorical!

Her heart gripped by fear and adrenaline, Marie cast her gaze about desperately in search of something on the basketball course to help her hide and saw only the basketball net without the actual net. A smirk coming to her lips, she leaped into the air and gripped the metal ring lightly between her fingers, using the momentum and angle granted by it to soar through the air, with her luscious golden locks flowing behind her, tinted by color, and her tail wagging happily at the chance of a brief evasion. She was headed straight towards the roof of one of Youkai's many halls, which she could hopefully use to get to safety, as long as she stayed one step ahead!

This slight victory was eliminated by the wicked sight before her, as the chainlink fence that served as a perimeter for the court twisted away from the ground beneath her, bathed in an amethyst aura, and leaped into the air in the form of a gigantic net! She could do little but push back against it with her own telekinesis to stop being caught, but her own momentum was ruined, and she just fell short of the chainlink net. With a grunt, she was sent hurling across the rough ground, hitting and being dragged along it by momentum that tore her clothes and gave her many owies. Rolling onto grass was her only mercy, but at least she was prepared for the assassin's next move; as she surrounded herself with an orb of force.

The assassin, sprinting faster than any mere mortal, attempted to grip Marie by the throat with her telekinesis, but found only that her outstretched hand and its extended reach slammed against the orb; and sent its perfectly spherical surface careening across the school grounds. Marie giggled wildly as she was tossed around in her perfectly safe ball, rolling at rapid speed across ground that would otherwise hurt her, until she rolled across the surface of the pool and against its edge, curved for safety, which served as a ramp for her makeshift vehicle and shot her far into the sky; high enough to see the beautiful area surrounding the academy and revel in its beauty for just a few moments. She was weightless and without care.

Inevitably, gravity got pissed off because somebody was defying its iron will, and grasped her firmly enough to send her speeding towards the hard ground. Unable to affect her new path, Marie simply waited to hit the ground unharmed in her sanctuary. Instead, she curled up in a ball and squealed as the purple orb instead landing on the prepared foot of the assassin, who had laid flat on the ground and pushed her legs into the air, in preparation for a series of bicycle kicks of epic proportions. A thousand times in less than a second, her feet collided with the defensive orb, her legs a blurb to the sight of anyone as they blazed with a burning violet light.

With all that energy built up on one of its side, and rocking its inhabitant so violently that she vibrated, the orb could do naught but be propelled at a specifically designed angle against one of Youkai Academy's buildings, specifically reinforced for attacks of sheer force. All the way, Marie screamed, as she came to the realization that her assassin had exquisite aim; and she was heading straight for a window just large enough for her form to slip through. Her orb crashed against the edges of the window and shattered, her concentration unable to stand against so much pressure, and sent the Lycan hurtling through the glass shards in its place.

A few moments of silence passed for Marie, as she picked out shards of glass from her flawless skin and unjammed herself from the junk she'd landed in; most of it musical instruments, as she realized that she'd landed near the hall used for musical practice and performances. She didn't want to linger for long, however, so she wiped her nose clean of the blood from excessive use of her powers and rushed through the door, using only her bare hands thanks to her doorknob-opening glove being destroyed, and found herself in the ample space beyond. She barely paid attention to the electric guitar that had strapped itself around her shoulders.

While catching her breath, her hands on her knees and her vision hazy, Marie heard the scrambling of her assassin pursuing her, crawling in through the window and landing in the mess of musical instruments herself. For the moment, Marie resolved to fight back; she wasn't going to take this lady's attitude for any longer, and she was going to win! It was only fair! With fresh resolve in her eyes, the adrenaline blasting through her veins so fast that she could ignore the pain, Marie strengthened her stance and brought her fists up before her eyes, into a guard that she learned from a big book of boxing techniques. It would have to be enough. Her beautiful golden wolf form would, of course, serve well, but she'd end up both naked and injured if she used it. And she wasn't going to be both of those things again; not after the incident with Nurse Pervonalykan.

The assassin soon emerged from the doorway, slightly more ruffled thanks to her tumble through the storage room, and with her own electric guitar hanging from her shoulders. Glaring from behind her mask, the assassin charged at Marie with her fist raised and imbued with psychic energy that took the form of purple ice; intended to break Marie's guard. But each was trickier than the other expected, as both raised their left knee for a jab at the other's stomach before the hit could collide, leading to their knees smacking together and sending them tumbling over each other, before landing on their feet and spinning round to roundhouse kick the other's head. Both hits missed.

Each enraged at the other's successes and their own failures, Marie and the assassin began to throw punches, kicks, and parries at each other in a flurry of motion that was impossible to follow, save for the bursts of pain that shot across the other's limbs with each of their identical strikes. Their battle was a dance in perfect synchronization, where one took a step back and the other took her place, before colliding again and sending the latter back for the former to regain her ground. The whirlwind of beautiful fighting was not to last, however, as it came to close with an ear-shattering bang, each of their fists slamming into the other's jaw and sending them hurtling towards the glass ceiling of the recital area.

Body wracked with glass shards, head spinning from the blow it took, Marie struggled to her feet with her shoulders slumped, just in time to see her foe doing the same, on the opposite side of the glass rooftop, with a chasm between them brought by their epic collision. She was too exhausted to go on, with most of her psychic energies gone and her body having taken more of a bruising than it ever had before. Marie's only straw of hope, and a short one at that, was that the assassin seemed to be in an identical position; there would be no surrender, not yet, nor a victory for the woman who had killed her parents those few short years ago.

Gripping the neck of her guitar like it was the only support available, Marie recalled all the emotions of that single moment that changed her life. The moment that would turn her from a simple wolf pup to a Lycan and a woman. The splash of warm blood across her cheeks. The heavy lead that lined her softly beating heart. The hot tears that scarred her golden cheeks. And the sight of an assassin, masked, looking down at the two wolves like they were a masterpiece of her work, before sprinting away from the scene with only her shadow left behind. She hated that shadow more than anything else, and it lurked just fifty feet away from her. And that loathing gave her renewed strength.

"You!" Marie yelled pathetically across the chasm, her finger weakly pointing at the assassin while her other hand tightly grasped the neck of her electric guitar. "You...are going...down...lady. And your...stupid mask...too..." Through her blurry vision, she saw the assassin tilt her masked head in a gesture of both mockery and curiosity at how this broken and beaten young woman was going to win this battle. Giggling softly, madly, to herself, Marie hefted the neck of the electric guitar in her palm and brought her pinched fingers towards the strings that line it. "These...have always been a weapon of rebellion. And the shape is perfect for channeling my powers..." She let out a short fit of laughter. "And I am going to rock you back to Youkai Hell!"

The assassin barely had time to comprehend before Marie's axe was alight with the power of her soul. The base glew softly violet, a still lake waiting to be rumbled to its very core and send a tidal wave of rock over its opponent. The neck buzzed in anticipation, volatile sparks rained from it in preparation for the inferno of metal that would scatter across it and set the sky ablaze. Even its pattern seemed to shift, shifting wildly like a tornado being split apart from the inside by a gust of unwrought emotion. And finally, the strap that bound it to Marie dug its ash-black claws into her skin to serve as the mountain that would carry her unmoveable will to the instrument of rock!

Their eyes met across the chasm, as the assassin's guitar was similarly brought to life; but it was Marie's challenge, and her chance to begin her vengeance. Her fingers danced softly across the strings, a low thrum of energy that built and built across the stage. It was the first wind of an oncoming storm, stretching on for infinity, before the first bolt of eldritch lightning was brought to its wrath and Marie's fingers struck the strings enough to send a telekinetic blast against the assassin, unable to defend against the attack. Before the assassin could bring up her defense against Marie's storm, three separate strikes and bolts were sent against her in rapid succession, with the storm blasting against her ears, serving as Marie's shield, as her fingertips continued strumming.

The assassin fought against the storm with an unstoppable inferno that curled around the neck of her guitar in the form of a blazing purple dragon. As her fingers rattled across the strings, filling the rooftop with notes that heated the glass itself and robbed the air from Marie's lungs, the dragon twisted and writhed, its form thickening and rankling with the potential that burned along the assassin's guitar, riffing with extended notes that made it pop and burn with sparks until it could scarcely fit on the guitar's neck for any longer, as it singed the assassin's hair. Finally, wincing, she released the drake of inferno with an extended screech of her guitar.

The violet wyrm of uncontrolled vengeance burst across the chasm between the rockers, singing glass and burning air with black fumes in its wake. Its power was enough to wriggle through Marie's storm, even as her fingers maniacally plucked the strings in an attempt to send it away, but even the flames lost in the whirling hurricane were not enough to deter its course. The drake's tail wrapped around Marie's throat while it crawled down her throat, filling her lungs with flames that made her cough black smoke and wrack violently. She was barely able to keep her storm up, but she'd survived the attack, just barely, and caught the sight of the assassin failing to keep up her defense after shoving all of her energy into one attack.

This was Marie's only shot at true revenge and victory; her rock would be more powerful. Her fingers struck the guitar's chords like lightning, which was just what she intended, as her feet gripped the ground and her body half-crouched to brace her guitar against her opponent enough for her to unleash the emotions that ran pure from her heart. There was no outside world any longer, not in Marie's reality, not for this moment. There was just her, the assassin, that rooftop, their axes, and the power of metal. This was what fuelled her, what rang true in her head, and what guided her hands to unleash a riff mighty enough to shake the air.

Marie gave three strikes of her pinched fingers, three bolts of amethyst lightning collided with the assassin's hand, making her grasp on her guitar loosen as she cried out in pain. Marie dragged her nail along the length of one string, while her other fiddled and jumped across its tuning like living electric, connecting the two of them for only a moment, as its tip struck the assassin's forehead and its end stayed connected to the guitar. Her head was assaulted psychic energy that sent the assassin's head back a little further with each second, shocking her body until she had no control over it for any longer, as she released the guitar and crumpled down to her knees. Finally, Marie brought her fingers trailblazing across the string of her guitar, her entire body burning with crystalline energy as lightning coalesced along the neck of her guitar, rushing towards its tip to form an orb as big as Marie herself. With the last few notes of her metal ballad, the orb shot across the chasm and collided with the assassin's chest, sending her flying across the horizon with nothing but a scream to mark her passage.

The arena for their rock-off vanished in moments, as Marie's guitar shrinked back to its normal form and left her feeling powerless. But she'd won. It was a victory. For the moment, she'd defeated her assassin. This thought allowed her to shamble over to the edge of the rooftop, pump her fist in victory only once, before unconsciousness claimed her and sent her falling off of the edge of the rooftop. She landed safely atop a bush, but suffering from extreme exhaustion and covered with bruises. Somebody would have to take her to the nurse...

Christian Davidson - outside the Pool

Standing in front of this girl was just getting boring, seeing as how she was just looking for Ryuu. She admitted to being from Fairytale, but wasn't a trouble-maker so far. Chris yawned a little, turning to the others, "Well, nothing interesting here. I'm heading back to the pool. If things pick up, let me know." With that said, he turned to go, but saw something out of the corner of his eye on the academy roof.

He could see a figure blasted off the roof by something. By what, he couldn't see, but he soon saw another figure. This one was a female and she suddenly fell off the roof. "What is it with people getting hurt today?" he thought. Certainly wasn't boring, though! Without a moment to spare, he darted to where the girl fell. From her appearance, she seemed to be a rocker. Awesome! Another that seemed to be like him. He noticed that she had quite a few bruises and was extremely exhausted.

Chris crouched down, gently sliding his arms underneath her shoulders and knees, and lifted her up with ease. He slowly walked inside with the girl and soon reached the infirmary. He nudged the doors with his bare foot and walked inside, setting her in one of the beds. The nurse approached, "Chris! Nice to see you again. Do we have another injured student?" He simply nodded, "I think she's new, but I don't know. She fell off the roof and landed in the bushes. She's banged up pretty bad." The nurse nodded in kind, "Alright, then. We'll take care of her for you." Chris smiled and nodded, taking one last look at her as he turned and walked out the door, heading back outside and to the pool.

Marie
~

A soft mumble came from Marie's lips as her senses were returned to her; with a shock that went through her body. Two things floating in the nearby area, a sea of dots that were unimportant, until it found one bright area across her mental map of the school. Immediately filled with a purpose, Marie sat bolt upright and glanced around the nurse's office she found herself in; bandages wrapped around a few of her limbs, her guitar taken away, and some healing salves on the worst of the bruises on her face. She and the shocked nurse shared a few moments of staring before she sprinted out of the office, with the Nurse yelling after the young woman.

With her feet pounding against the ground beneath her, Marie stopped only to visit a drink machine, popping in a few coins, which had remained safe through her fight, and taking away an energy drink, drinking large gulps of it with every corner she turned. She had a goal, and it didn't involve paying attention to her bruises, her blazing headache, or going to her packs to collect her spare doorknob-turning gloves! All that she could feel was the bright area of light, waiting near the entrance of Youkai Academy. Psychic abilities had never been so useful.

And then, she saw them. Two abnormalities stood before her at the entrance to the school, one hiding from her field of vision, and the other standing in a confrontation with the other students, of which the first was a part. Skipping over to Divine, Marie grinned at her, ignoring the others, and began to run her hand's through the mermaid's silky blue hair, sniffing it a little. "Hi! My name is Marie. Can I have your babies? You've got to be the cutest guy I've ever laid my eyes on, and I've seen lots of them! I could show you my magazines, but I don't want to leave your side!" She giggled madly between every sentence.

Divine
The Yandere Mermaid

Divine was amused by how everyone kept asking her why she needed Ryuu. There was even one who dared to ask her why she wasn't asking for Yuna. "Yuna..." Divine's expression started to turn in one of a jealous girl in love. "I prefer not face Yuna, we don't get along very well." Divine looked away from the boy with a irritated smile. She really disliked hearing Yuna's name. Remembering her irritated her even more.

"How is she doing by the way...? Still trying to get Ryuu-sama?" Divine asked the students in front of her as he expression started to turn in an evil one. She somehow felt anger building up inside her and felt like punching or even killing something. She felt her other personality taking her over which she was trying to prevent.

Suddenly Divine is interupted by yet another appearence. "Hi! My name is Marie. Can I have your babies? You've got to be the cutest guy I've ever laid my eyes on, and I've seen lots of them! I could show you my magazines, but I don't want to leave your side!" The girl laughed crazy between her sentences and freaked the mermaid out. "What the...! I'm a woman!" Divine grabbed her wrist and pulled it away from her hair. "What is this madness?!" She asked the other students, obviously confused by the sudden appearence.

Yuria & Marie

 • HOW TO SOLVE A PROBLEM LIKE MARIE
A whimper escaped Marie's lips as her hand was horrifically torn away from stroking the lovely Divine's hair, the vice-tight grip of the mermaid's fingers around her wrist like a thousand tonnes of rock. She'd never been torn away from her prize before, and this one was acting so strangely! Granted, most of her targets were rather feminine to begin with, but this one was particularly stubborn. And mean. And evil. Pouting for a moment, and sharing a glance with the other students, none of whom she'd yet met, she decided to take initiative, just as she had a short while ago.

Marie blinked past her dizziness...

And licked Divine's hand.

Yuria could only watch in awe from his position behind the gates, seeing complete strangers acting the way they are now. He'd never seen any humans acting this odd, on television or otherwise — and he'd definitely never seen someone break such intense... tension, so easily. He almost figured that things would sort themselves out, so he tried to back away as quietly as he'd arrived.

A shard of crystal clarity shot through Marie's thick head, sundering the ties of confusion that had enthralled her psychic mapping and revealing the true target of her hunt. Letting go of Divine's saliva-covered hand, her head immediately twisted around to face the bushes and focused on the lone figure that her mindsight could make out.

"Sorry!" she uttered quickly to the merb****, offering an apologetic grin before she sprinted through the gathered group of armed students (accidentally bowling over the one named Cheryll) and charged at the frost-haired ladyboy.

The ladyboy in question was in shock that he was the newest target. She didn't seem hostile, no, but the idea of someone licking him was a disturbing one in itself. While he backed away, unable to just turn around — she was too quick, and had a head start — Yuria slammed the ground with his claw-toting hands, forcing a wall of ice to emerge between him and his perverse pursuer (which the latter promptly hit). Then he ran.

The wintry wall that emerged in Yuria's wake did much to stop Marie's momentum, but little to diminish her spirit, as she just managed to protect her delicate and already injured skin from the sheet of ice with the skinniest of barriers. She rebounded off of the barrier and landed on her ass, turning it into a roll that would let her dance around the barrier and continue her unchaste chase. Still, her prey was fast, and she'd need a boost that she simply didn't have to continue it. Unless...

Clicking her heels together, Marie grasped the energy drink that she'd deftly tucked into her pocket before coming across Divine and swiftly swallowed all that remained of the high-glucose drink. Grinning, crouching, and twisting her wrist just so, she tossed the bottle like an arrow at Yuria.

It flew unerringly, powered by the remnants of the Lycan's telekinesis, and aimed straight at the back of Yuria's head.

I laid on the ground fully conscious, only pretending to be out. I'm useless I thought to myself in despair, I failed to protect her. I failed out of weakness. I listened to the fight sadly. I heard the boy from earlier go down much like Elise. I heard the crying that proceeded it. He was able to protect that girl Nami... Is he really stronger than me? My chest hurt, though I also was becoming angry. What is this! I work so hard, and I fail this easily?! I should just give up, I'm useless in everything else too.

I closed my eyes, and remembered the moment when my sister found out about how many jobs I was fired from. "What is the matter Frio?" She had asked me. I remember crying, with bruises and blisters.

"No matter what job I get, I'm too much of an idiot to do it." I replied sorrowfully, "I work very hard, but I always pass out or break something and get fired."

I remember she looked at me very thoughtfully, she never went through things like that because she was perfect in everything. I thought that she would laugh at me for being inferior. "Well you're pretty dramatic." She had said instead, "You are better than any human on this earth, and you are crying because you can't hold a job."

"What am I supposed to do?" I asked her, "Should I never cry?"

She shrugged, "I can't say you shouldn't cry, because even I cry sometimes, and I certainly can't tell you what to do all the time. Just use your head."

"But I'm not very smart. Even Mom and Dad say so."

"You're right, anybody who accepts how stupid they are must be pretty stupid. If you think you are stupid, then you clearly must be." I remember the conversation ending there, she had made a carrot and chicken salad.

I thought about what that meant, though she never explained it to me. It felt relevant somehow though, the situations felt the same.If I can't beat him in a fight. Can I outsmart him? I began to think, But I'm an idiot, what could I possibly think up? I opened my eyes and looked at the ground. I had half my face planted in it, but it gave me an idea. I can set a trap underground, one that would impale him from beneath. I knew it would take a few minutes, and hoped the others would stall, No need to kill him, just immobilize him. I second thought.

I closed my eyes and began to concentrate, imagining a thin layer of dirt and creating a ring of ice spikes under it, one by one. A tedious task.

Graveyard

Chapter V, Part X
"The Many Conflicts of Morality"

Solo's seemingly lifeless figure stood motionless, with no signs of emotion or body language. Even his eyes were covered by black strands of hair, meaning at this point he was completely impossible to read. His movements were extremely precise, and happened in mere moments, making it too difficult to tell what his moves were until they happened. After a few moments of nothing, he took a step forward. Then another. He approached slowly, and with a swipe of his hand, powerful energy struck the vampire and the human from the side, sure to make them tumble. He prepared to blast the remaining students, when suddenly he leapt backward a few feet, as icicles formed up from the ground and surrounded him. He punched the icicles; nothing. He blasted them; nothing. There was something happening that seemed entirely odd at this point.

Yorick Amherst Lee - Graveyard

Yorick was tossed through the air from the force and hit the ground hard when he landed. After getting up, he saw Solo standing still in the middle of the graveyard with only the girl from breakfast remaining conscious. She was biting the boy she had been with for some reason but they were soon knocked aside by Solo. Yorick decided he needed a plan. He could not use his claws or teeth or else he could accidentally kill Solo. Fists seemed to be okay, but they didn't do enough force. That meant he needed another blunt weapon that was stronger. He looked around the graveyard for something he could use and decided he could use a tree, however he didn't believe himself to be strong enough to pull a large tree out of the ground. Looking for something else, he saw many broken pieces of gravestones. Many of them were fairly large chunks so Yorick decided he could throw them quickly, one after the other.

Immediately after his plan was decided, ice spikes came up out of the ground and surrounded Solo. Thinking this a good opportunity, Yorick stuffed the chunks of rock into his bag and nimbly hopped onto the top of the wall that had formed. He was able to see Solo blasting at the ice that wouldn't break. Without hesitation, Yorick began throwing a barrage of rocks at Solo.

Raka Chaudri - Forest

The boy fell over without a scream, but it was clear he was in terrible pain. "Aren't you people supposed to be susceptible to magic?" he questioned through cough-split laughter. Raka smirked at this. He paused for a moment in an attempt to recover a little before continuing to speak. He then gave a summary of his situation out loud. Raka thought little of it, mostly thinking he had done so for himself since some think better out loud, but she became interested when he said, "But I would suggest that you have probably left out the most important factor. I don't care. Until I am physically unable to I will keep throwing different things at you and even if I die I'm going to do everything in my power to take you down with me. I don't know you well enough to make much of analysis of you, but it is clear you are very well trained, very arrogant, very powerful and a lycan. Which means you are susceptible to magic and probably think you are better than you are. Which means I actually have a much better chance than my original summary would suggest. Am I wrong? Possibly, but not likely. We mages tend to be rather clever."

For an intellectual creature he was rather reckless. Actually, recklessness wasn't quite the right word. His fiery emotions were well guided by his mental aptitude, sort of like a smart missile. It was a deadly combination and she wanted to see it when it had grown even deadlier. However, now that he knew this much about her, letting him live would be a questionable decision that could cause trouble in the future. Raka decided that she'd see what else he could muster up before deciding. He then continued with, "Speaking of which, I feel much better now. Thank you for the break. Excaecatio lux!" Immediately there was a flash of blinding light followed by the words "Ingens strepitus!" which painfully robbed her of her hearing as well. Inevitably there would be an attack to follow since she doubted this one would run away. If he did, then he would have failed her little test to see if he was worth it and she would simply track and kill him. Her sense of smell remained intact since the smoke had gone so she would know.

Raka had no way of knowing what sort of attack he would use next until it was too late and she didn't want to risk trying to identify it by smell to dodge it so the best option remained to block it. Gripping her staff once more, Raka erected a powerful barrier around herself in anticipation. It had to be one capable of defending her from anything she could imagine he could use and more. Ah, there it is, she thought when something made impact. It was a powerful force that lasted but a moment. When magic strikes a lycan's barrier, the barrier will quiver as if it is begging to be undone, even if the same force - or a greater one - from a non-magical source would have been stopped easily. A lycan not used to battling mages will find even powerful barriers of theirs easily torn asunder by magical strikes because a barrier fit to block magic is a very different barrier, not simply a stronger one. It takes incredible discipline, focus, and stamina to make such a barrier, something Raka had acquired by countless losses at the hands of Oz and his magical ilk until finally she was able to stop such strikes almost with ease. As such, that attack just wasn't enough to get through to her. He thought her extremely arrogant but the truth is that for every fight she keeps on her toes since she is, by definition, unable to anticipate all manner of surprises.

Raka's barrier remained until she regained her senses, loosening her grip on the staff and letting out a small breath as it dissipated. Hearing took much longer to return than sight, the ringing remaining in her ears long after the screech had stopped. She saw the boy standing there, clearly much more tired than before. He wouldn't be able to keep this up much longer and Raka didn't want to leave without seeing the full extent of his power so she decided to put a little more pressure onto him. Dashing forward quickly, Raka thrust the rod into the mage's gut several times before delivering a kick to the chest that would knock him on his back. "Well played mage, but still not enough to beat me," she said, stepping back and returning to her stance. "Tell me, what is your name?"

I carefully carried out my trap, attempting to completely immobilize him. The task required both arms, causing me immense pain and strain. I cold hold it as long as I could take the pain, though it seemed to worsen with each minute. I wanted to stand up, I wanted to finish this myself, yet the very act of immobilizing him prevented my own movements. The only thing I could do was lay here and hope one of the other students would take advantage. The werewolf helped slightly, tossing rocks at the trapped lycan, yet I felt it wasn't enough. What are we supposed to do? If this goes on much longer, I'll pass out for real, and then it will be really over. I remembered the boy who's race I hadn't figured out, and the vampire. If they can cut his collar, would that stop him?

I struggled to turn my head toward them, the boy was down, though the girl had done something to him. It's our only chance... I pushed myself even harder, attempting to do one last thing before I passed the baton. Next to the boy, I made an ice knife come out of the ground. It wouldn't melt, not as long as I stayed awake, but I feared they would no know what to do with it.

Yet I could not say anything.

Allister Curtis

Allister watched with a combination of amazement and horror as one of his most powerful offensive spells was deflected by a telekinetic barrier.
Smart move, she couldn't see or hear so she simply made a barrier. Allister continued to ponder the situation but as another wave of pain and weariness hit him he realised he was nearly out of options and certainly out of time. His vision was becoming dark and hazy and his body was not only feeling heavy but aching intensely.

"Well played mage, but still not enough to beat me," the woman said, stepping back and returning to her stance. "Tell me, what is your name?" Allister looked at her through rapidly darkening vision
I may as well...
"Whilst I don't see why it matters to you, and whilst I'm certain you won't share your own, I don't see why I should avoid sharing my name with you. My name is Allister Curtis, and I am in no way pleased to make your acquaintance."

Allister felt himself sway slightly but forced himself to remain standing.
I'm even more worn out now than I was during the fight with Oz... and I was shielding a whole group of people then, even if I didn't participate in the combat much myself. But if she hits me again I'm going down anyway. I guess I really do only have one option left...
"I'm probably going to have to stop using this now since I tried it on Oz too. I hope you appreciate the effort I'm going too here. Irum Caelum!"

Allister put the last of his strength into the spell as the clouds above seemed to swirl and darken. He didn't have enough strength left to pull the spell off with the same amount of strength he had against Oz, but it was going to be enough to send a statement to his opponent. Three pillars (unlike the four that had appeared the last time he had used it) of violet lightning shot down from the sky above in a triangular formation around their battle field.
"Be sure to give my regards to Oz after this, maybe give him a few of those nasty punches for me?"
The lightning pillars shot towards Allister's opponent tearing trenches into the already damaged terrain as they moved towards the dangerous woman.

At least that's still fairly impressive looking, if I'm lucky someone will actually consider the sudden burst of lightning odd and come and find me before the fire turns me into a toasted magemellow.
As the lightning pillars converged upon their destination the world went black around Allister as he collapsed and started to fade out of conciousness.

Divine
The Yandere Mermaid

Divine got irritated by the fact that her question remained unanswered. The girl that suprised her earlier now went to another girl and admired that girl instead of her. Divine could get quite irritated when a person tells her that he likes her and how beautiful she is and then leaves for another girl, but in this case... it was a girl telling her how beautiful she was. It reminded her of Ryuu and made her blood boil. "Enough of this crap..." Divine said as she closed her eyes and clenched her fists.

"If you won't answer my question, then I'll just make my own way towards Ryuu-sama." Divine's eye color changed from aqua blue to pink as she started to look like a psychopath. Knowing that Solo and Raka could take care of themselves, Divine spreaded her arms and made grass and flowers wilt by sucking the water out of them. The water surrounded her hands and took the form of sharp claws. "This is my way of fighting on land, i'm one of the few Mermaids able to do this." She said with a crazy sounding voice.

She stood in fighting stance and charged towards the students with her claws behind her, striking as she got close.

Yuria & Marie

With her prey sufficiently weakened, and, indeed, completely out, Marie swooped in to snatch her up in perfectly shaped arms. Before anybody could spot the hunter leaving with Yuria, she bundled him away in her arms like a princess as she sprinted through the school halls, taking the pathways that avoided large groups of people, thanks to the gift of her psychic map. Back to the room where the nurse woke her up; nobody would suspect that she'd return there, which makes it all the better for planning to have tea and crumpets with the unconscious Yuria, because this is a kid's forum, you know.

The door slammed shut behind her; she found the room vacant, and softly laid Yuria upon the pristine white bed. For a few moments, she simply stared at the young man, and basked in his silent radiance. She didn't need to speak, because she spoke with each breath that sent his little chest up and down. But the wound on the back of his head remained something to worry about, and after cleaning and dressing the injury* Marie realized that there was only one way she could truly nurse the ice student back to health.

With love.

Perching herself besides Yuria, Marie laid her upper body across his, and wrapped her arms around the slender boy, cradling him against herself and channeling all of her (admittedly a little amorous) adoration into the embrace.

*A skill she pulled out of her perfect behind.

Takumi Makkusu - ...

ShinyDiamond here! Time to get on with the story. We left off with Takumi protecting Nami from a blast by Solo, resulting in his unconscious. Let's see what new events unfold.

When Takumi fainted, Nami was devastated by the loss of her new friend. She sobbed for him, fearing for him. Then she got an idea. It's a brilliant one, I might add. She bent down & bit on Tak's neck, but instead of sucking his blood, she instead flowed her own blood into his veins. As a result, something incredible would happen to him soon.

Solo, expressionless as...not very usual, began taking steps towards the group. He's pretty scary, I wouldn't recommend being to rash in battle. He targeted Nami & Takumi. His fearsome power is like hell, & with it he swipes Nami & Tak across the field. Tak lay unconscious on the ground still, giving no response to the sudden attack. Solo was soon surrounded by a wall of icicles. These weren't normal icicles, as they were created & summoned by a Yokai. Solo tries to break it with every arsenal he has. Nothing.

Yorick, seeing an opportunity to attack Solo, started throwing chunks of graveyard stones at him. Frio, who converted an icicle wall around Solo earlier, created another ice weapon, an ice knife, next to Tak's limbless body. Some time passed, & this battle seemed neutral for other side. Now comes the amazing part. Wait for it...

Slowly, Takumi was rising from the ground, but something was different about him. A strong aura was being emitted from him, his eyes turned bright crimson red, & his hair. Well, let's just say it took a bit of a...lighter color? Tak was a totally different person, both inside & out. His face was a bit like Solo, only his hair wasn't in the way of his eyes, so his eyes are visible. As he rose, he picked up the ice knife left by Frio, then glared at Solo. Nothing was said. No words. Only...

I'll end this soon with a few things left said. Tak handles the ice knife & suddenly charges at Solo. He gets behind one of the rocks thrown by Yorick, keeping up behind it. He curls his right hand, the one holding the knife, into a fist, & punches through the rock, just as it neared Solo, & straight at Solo's cheek. The knife was facing the side, so he's not cut yet. I'll leave it at that then, just to see whether the strike hit Solo or not. Just know that Tak...um, I got nothing to say. Mostly 'cause I don't know what else to say. So until then, peace!

Sorae

"Well I wouldn't know about Yuna because... crud!"

Sorae rolled out of the way irritatingly. "Well, I guess that gives me a perfect reason to attack." He tried to grab his bow, which had been strapped around his back... and... wait, no... nonononono! He looked forward at what laid on the ground that Yuna had stepped on, hopefully not broken. He picked it up, the bow shiny in his hands. It was... uh... wow. It had a broken string, which he imagined was from her claws. Actually, that would make the most sense. It actually did make sense. He had been leaning on it like a cane, when she attacked he rolled, and the claws probably snapped the bow while gravity affected it.

Wait, is it even called gravity in the Youkai world? Maybe it's called "going down-edness."

Nevertheless, Sorae couldn't do any arrow-based attacks with a snapped string... Damn, and I want to avoid summons. Do I have any more string? He checked his bag as quickly as he could, but instead of a string, he found a roll of duct tape which he had used while camping earlier. This had been sitting at the top, since it was one of the more recent things he had used besides a pencil, a notebook, and an eraser. He taped together the two broken ends of the string. Crappy? Yes. Human solution? Yes. Practical? Yes. Does it work? He grabbed an arrow and pulled it back, aiming for Divine's back. It swerved and hit her arm instead. He cringed. Sort of.

Christian Davidson

As he was walking back, Chris saw the girl he took to the nurse chase after another, some boy with long hair. He shook his head at that. However, he didn't have time to think about it as the girl he was facing earlier start to attack with claws made from water. Sorae seemed to get an arrow in her arm. He found himself smiling, finally grateful he'd see some action. Using his conditioned legs, he ran straight at the girl from behind. He managed to get up to her without being noticed somehow. Time to act!

Chris leapt over her, using this moment of surprise to turn in mid-air and pull himself backwards while bringing his feet up under her chin. Whether it connected or not, he landed on his hands and continued to flip backwards three times before landing on his feet and stared into her eyes. "About time you show your intentions," he smirked, noticing her claws, "Impressive set of claws you have. Lets see how well yours stack up to mine!"

As he said this, Chris felt himself getting more and more enraged. Slowly his claws protruded from his fingers as a pair of cat ears became visible within his spiky hairstyle. A small tail also snaked out from the back of his pants as the transformation finished. There he stood, in full Neko form, as he assumed a fighting position, ready for what she may throw at him.

Kakusu - Bathroom --> Cafeteria

Bursting into the cafeteria, it seemed empty enough as Kakusu, seeming oblivious to his surroundings, dashed inside and looked in the kitchen for some food. Although the violence and hectic fires and whatnot continued outside the school, the cafeteria was devoid of life, except from himself and seemed to be untouched by anything, aside from Kakusu rattling around in the kitchen for some food. He was knocking everything aside, from pots and pans, to dishes and tables in the back until he felt a slight draft in the room that was beginning to pick up speed. Kakusu covered his eyes as the wind spiked up to a destructive speed and summoned a wall of fire to prevent himself from being hit by the various objects in the room that were flying around and before he knew it, a hooded figure bashed into him headfirst, although he managed to tuck their head into his armpit to prevent the sharp figure's beak from stabbing him although he couldn't feel the light cut that the Crow Tengo had inflicted underneath his right arm where the being was still pushing in.

A soft, but quick beating noise came from behind the Crow Tengu and two wings began to add to the momentum as Kakusu was pushed into the cafeteria and out of a window into the sky as they began... flying? Summoning up some strength, Kakusu covered his arms in flames began to burn the creature as the flew around the air of thee campus, now clawing at him and gusts of wind throwing fire around the air as well as blowing heavily in Kakusu's face. This Crow Tengu was probably one or two years younger than himself, but he was far stronger than his immediate look would suggest, although the flames seemed to render him flight incapable as they spread to his wings and soon the pivoted... down.... down... with Kakusu still clutching the head of the crow, this time with fear for his life as they twirled towards the ground with smoke following them in a manner similar to a Fighter Plane being shot down. All Kakusu could do is look up at the sky spinning around him as he felt the Crow's body go limp, either dead or unconscious and they plummeted at an accelerated rate.

Right before they hit the ground, he could see himself falling right into... a feminine figure with..... a fish tail. Soon they hit what Kakusu assumed was the ground as dirt flew up in front of then, though he felt no pain and the crash-landing kicked up alot of dirt. His sense of gravity was bad and he was disoriented quite a bit. He was hoping the fishlady wasn't an ally or anyone important seeing as she must've cushioned his fall.

Maya Nami Kyuuketsuki
Chapter 3: Let's play!
Classroom 13

As Nami continued to hold the lifeless body of Takumi, they got blown away by one of Solo's attacks. Nami tried to stumble back to her place next to takumi but noticed his chest moving. He was breathing! Nami couldn't believe her eyes and smiled on the inside, a smile that wasn't shown on the outside because her face was frozen solid. Even though her face wouldn't show any emotion, just by how she stopped moving to watch Takumi breath was enough to make it obvious that she was happy and suprised on the same time. This meant that her plan had worked but this also meant that if she continued injecting him with blood, he would turn into a Ghoul.

Frio tried to move his body next to Takumi's and made a small sword made out of ice. Nami glanced at him and waited for him to explain why he did that. Frio, however, kept his mouth shut. Nami easely found out that Frio wanted them to cut that collar or kill him if that didn't work. Nami wasn't too fond of the idea of killing him and hoped that they were able to cut off that collar.

Before Nami could reach out her hand to get the icy sword, Takumi took it and stood up. His hair had turned silver and his eyes were crimson just like Nami's were in her Vampire form. Nami blushed from his appearence but was happy that he showed more signs of life. Takumi dashed towards Solo and punched him with the same strength as a Vampire has. Nami stood up as well and released her Vampire power as well. Her appearence started to change to one of a Vampire and was ready to finish this.

Divine
The Yandere Mermaid

Divine felt something thrusting in her arms as she dashed towards one of the students. Some guy had shot an arrow in her arm. She turned around to glare at that certain guy and swinged her arm to control water and make that certain guy dripping wet. She didn't intend to hurt those students... much, but they had made her quite angry now. "Just bring Ryuu here! Dammit!" The angry mermaid made her way towards the boy who shot that arrow in her arm and slashed with her water claws.

Suddenly another guy came into the picture, the one that had left not long ago. He made quite and appearence. "Impressive set of claws you have. Lets see how well yours stack up to mine!" With these words he transformed into a Neko and made Divine chuckle. "A Neko... really? I thought you guys," Divine spreaded her arms and quickly pushed them in front of her to steal some more water from plants around her and made the Neko wet as well. "Were afraid of water?" She started laughing again and punched the Neko boy in his belly.

Yet another boy appeared and ran into her. Both of them dropped on the ground with the boy on top of her. "Get off you pervert! Only Ryuu-sama is allowed to do that!" She shouted. As the boy was not giving any signs of consciousness, she just pushed him off her. "I said to get offf!!!" She shouted at the boy who appearently was a Youko.

Solo

Solo watched as the boy that was supposed to be death, stood up and dashed towards him with a creation made by Frio in his hand. It was obvious to him that his Vampire classmate had injected Takumi with her blood. Solo kept on wondering why his body was doing things that he didn't want to and tried to fight against it. "Please understand me! Help me!" He thought, but he wasn't able to spit out those words. It became clear to him that collar was to blame for this. His entire body was being controlled.

Takumi punched him right on his cheek and made him blow away to the other side of the battle field. Takumi had probably taken over part of Nami's power, which meant that he should try to avoid the punches and kicks of those two. From afar he could see that his female classmate was transforming as well. Solo stood up and dashed towards Takumi to punch him back with a fist that was extra powerful thanks to his telekinesis powers. He hit Takumi on the same cheek where Takumi had hit him just a while ago.
