Helllooo Marie! Welcome to PC! You can find all that you need on ROM hacking in the Emulation section. There's many helpful tools and tutorials there and you can easily learn from all the helpful people here. We're nice people so never hesitate to ask anyone anything, even if it's not about ROM hacking. I suggest contacting the staff in the blue, orange and red bold cause they know the most around here.

The name is David and I'm turning 20 in a few weeks. I'm in my 3rd year of community college and should be transferring to Cal State Fullerton either next Fall or the Fall after. Pursuing a degree in Human Services with a minor in English, looking forward to being either a High School Counselor or and English teacher.
Enough about that! Who wants to talk about school anyways...
I've been playing Pokemon, much like most of you, since the first generations. My first handheld device was a GameBoy Pocket and the only game I ever really played was my Blue Version. I own all versions except for the original Red.
Just joined the site due to a link to a ROM Hack called Pokemon Dark Rising and decided to stay rather than just using your site.
I am having trouble finding a thread on how to install these ROM hacks though, this has been my first ROM hack on my MacBook. Last ROM Hack I played was Pokemon Liquid Crystal if I'm not mistaken...
Some help or a link would be nice!

That's nice you decided to actually involve yourself within the community, because most people who join for ROM hacks iirc only like, join to download a hack and then they like, disappear from the forum for no reason. If you're looking for ROM hacks I advise checking out the Emulation & ROM Hacking section here which has everything hack-related you need.
Anyways, I'm sure you'll have an awesome time here and don't hesitate to ask any staff members in blue, orange or red if you need help!

~I write poetry and do some photoshop work but im not nearly good enough with it to show something just yet maybe in time. but if you would like a poem or something along them lines id love to write something for anyone.

I grew up rather poor (extremely poor) so this year is the first year ive had a video game system ever, I got the 3ds and a xbox 360 with my first pay check about 5 months ago but i used to always go to my neighbors house to watch and play pokemon when i was little on the weekends, i just recently got the internet capable computer aswell so i was very consumed by it and am glad i wondered apon (upon?)

Hello, Magikarp here. I recently got back into Pokemon after taking a short break and man am I hooked >.<
Anywayssss I enjoy Pokemon and pretty much all other Nintendo games (with the exception of Ice Climbers) and my favorite Pokemon is non other then Magikarp, deal with it.

Hello Magikarp! I actually have a friend who loves Magikarp so you're not alone hahaha. It's cool cause it evolves into something really powerful lol. It's good to see you get back into Pokemon especially now with Pokemon X and Y a month way! Are you planning to get them? I'm sure I am.
