Update for USC #3.

Final Update (#5) on Emerald.


  • Woke up at home, and after visiting with my parents for a bit, I got a call from Scott.
  • Boarded the S.S. Tidal at Slateport (the music here is awesome!), and Excalibur grew to L76.
  • Used 10 Rare Candies, then beat the rest of the trainers.
  • Disembarked at Lilycove, then flew to Rustboro and made my way north to Meteor Falls.
  • Found the secret cave, where Steven was waiting!

    Steven was tough to get going against, but once Skarmory was out of the way, the rest was cake. Here's the video of the battle.


  • Hoenn is conquered! On to Sinnoh!

I'm doing this on Gold with Wobufett,but since it's impossible,(due to Ghost attacks being physical and Counter doesn't hit,and Dark are special and Mirror Coat doesn't hit,and there's Morty and Karen)
I'm hacking Counter & Mirror Coat to be Dragon type(it won't affect damage,so it shouldn't be a problem)

Wobbuffet solo,hacked Counter and Mirror Coat to dragon due to it not affecting Ghosts and Dark types moves on themselves respectively)

-Got Sandbag the Male Wobbuffet
-Plot + Grinding
-Beat Falkner,Got egg,permabox'd
-More Plot + More Grinding
-Union Cave was a pain,but did it

I am starting a LeafGreen Solo with Venasaur and I just beat my Rival on route 22

Overgrow/Bulbasaur
Lv 9
Tackle
Growl
Leech Seed

The battle was hard as his Pidgey fired off a lot of sand attacks but i managed to get a leech seed off and used that for the KO. For Charmander I used a very similar strategy.

Although I love Wobbuffet,without a back-up it is impossible to work with,so dropping of off that, instead I'll do a Xatu Solo-Run on Gold;

Ultimate Solo Challenge Update #6 with Weedle

Well finally I'm back after writing my exams, so back to updates!

-I finished Rock Tunnel, wow I hate that place.
-Went and fought all but 3 of the battles on Route 8, and all but 1 on Route 12.
-Tried to fight my rival in Pokemon Tower and lost, I guess I'll worry about that later.
-Got to Celadon. Beat the Rocket Grunt blocking the poster and hit the button, and won 400 coins on slots.
-Went to the store and bought drinks and Awakenings, since apparently the other stores don't sell them now.
-I found a PP Up, so I used it on Poison Sting, lol.
-Then I went and beat all the trainers in the 4th gym, including Erika. I had to beat her twice since the first time her Vileplume got a critical on me when she was one Poison Sting away from death. Weedle is currently level 45.

Update for USC #3.

Update #3 on Platinum.
  • Got through the fog to Celestic Town and beat Cyrus.
  • Got Surf, and used it to beat all the water trainers.
  • Went to Canalave City and beat Mordred again, then beat Byron easily with Swords Dance + Brick Break.
  • Got Strength (skipped Iron Island), and the bomb went off in Lake Valor.
  • Beat Saturn and Mars, then trudged to Snowpoint City.
  • Beat Candice easily with Brick Break and Aerial Ace.
  • Saved in the Galactic HQ.
