If only I could link the song from Team America :'c Though to be perfectly honest, at this point, I honestly wouldn't care. Let 'em go. Just let me move elsewhere first. When they fail by themselves because they're all being childish idiots, they'll come crawling back in terrible shape. I do not wish to be a part of that.

And Pokey, that link doesn't work for me :ccc That's the greatest thing ever. Oscar-worthy.

Norway seems to be a good choice if you don't mind the cold and the almost nonexistent sunlight in the winter.

Norway is really cool.

Like Sweden but better in some ways.

As cool as this country is, there are still little things about Sweden that I dislike, like how it's literally just as bad here to have a drawing of a naked child as it is to have actual child porn (they're covered under the same law).

Now that is mindbogglingly stupid (and as someone who draws a lot, it legitimately scares me).

Today is my first actual General Strike!

It's so fun staying at home when you actually have a job to not go to.

Half of Europe is on a general strike today. Portugal included.
My schedule doesn't include classes at Wednesdays already, so I can't "benefit" from possible teachers staying at home.

And Pokey - just be careful with that stuff.

PINE TREES, STOP BEING SO DIFFICULT TO DRAW.

That is all.

As for being a member of a union I don't dare answer that question, I haven't been properly employed for a day in my life.

215519. Is it a requirement for employment at most places to be a member of a union in Europe? Because in America, I can't go on strike unless I'm a member of a union, which is a pretty rare thing to have happen.

Not really, although most people pay the membership premium just for the legal support and to join the collective salary negotiations- all the employees against the boss get much more than several individual people alone.

But you don't really need to join an union if you don't want to, and you can go on strike without being member of any union- it's a right for everybody, it's only that the unions are the only ones allowed to declare them. But once one does it, you can join the strike even if you aren't a member of that particular union- as it was my case today.

Just came back from a demonstration!
