Maxwell looked at Jimmy, he was pale as a ghost, his face showing pretty clear traces of pain. The boy's voice was shambling and sounded unstable. Maxwell heard Jimmy's stomach growl immensly, hadn't he eaten? Didn't have any money to pay for food? Maxwell was suddenly worried for this guy, he knew that he had to help Jimmy.
"Well, if you take this path from here, and then turn left there..." he marked the path with a pencil that he had kept in his robe, just in case something would happen.
"You sound kinda hungry, haven't you eaten?" Maxwell asked with a worried tone. He looked over at Mark,
"You can go ahead if you want, I'm gonna help Jimmy a bit." he said.

[Well, not too much. I was supposed to lead your trainer to Battlefield 8, but it seems Maxwell is already showing him the way on that map.] Quillie said in a much friendlier tone, this Koffing didn't seem as bad as the ones in the Burnt Tower. Maybe Quillie shouldn't have judged him too fast, or maybe he was just paranoid.
[How 'bout you?] he asked the Koffing.

Wilson, Slackey and Katam saw how Mark returned almost all of his pokemon. Katam looked at Able,
[Hi, who are you? I'm Katam, nice too meet you!] the Tympole said with his usual cheerful tone and his usual broad smile.

Nova

Nova got to his feet and yawned. He had crashed in his old den, from before he met Brian. Back before he even had a name. The same den he had been in after his pack had kicked him out. He shrugged and looked around. It had been clear that someone had been here while he had been with Brian. Not that he cared. But they had stayed away. Or had they? He perked his nose up and sniffed the air. Someone was laying outside. He walked out of the den and saw a vulpix laying on the ground. The vulpix was awake and glaring at him.

"Finally getting out of my den?" he asked Nova. Nova laughed and looked at him.

"You're den small fry? I don't think so! I made this den!" Nova said, still chuckling. The vulpix growled at him and launched Embers at him. Nova stood still and let the flaming sphere's hit him. He used hsi Flash Fire to soak up the heat and chuckled.

"That tickled. Care to try again?" Nova said. The Vulpix growled and launched himself at Nova with Quick Attack. Nova grunted when the blow hit him in the chest. He growled and Bit the smaller pokemon, lifting him into the air and shaking him wildly.

"Ah!! Let me go you beast!" the Vulpix growled. Nova did so by throwing him into a tree. Vulpix hit the ground and growled.

"Look. I'm using this den until I go back to my human. That could be a few days or a few weeks. But I will be here. You can either deal with it, or we can keep scrapping. I don't care," Nova said bluntly. Vulpix growled and charged again. Stupid little fox. Nova sighed and used Bite again, catching the Vulpix and slamming him ruthlessly to the ground. The small fox groaned and fainted. Nova dragged him outside of his territory and dumped him there. He then turned and began looking for something to eat.

Dante

Dante was heading to the mountain, but he had go though the forest. As he was going through the forest, Dante saw several pokemon in the trees, ranging from Caterpie to Seedot. The pokemon that Dante saw didn't bother him too much. Dante continued walking through the forest for awhile until he got to the foot of the mountain.

"Man, that was a long trek", Dante said to himself. "Hey, is that a cave up there?"

As soon as Dante said that, he started to climb up to the cave. For a little while, Dante had a little trouble climbing up to the cave. Once he climbed up to the cave, Dante went inside. He saw a some pokemon, to which he had to avoid. Dante continued down the cave until he ran into an Aron.

"Oh boy", Dante said upon see the wild Aron. "I guess I have to fight this one. Anyway, go Combusken."

Dante called out Combusken, which saw the Aron and got into a battle stance. The wild Aron saw that Combusken got into a battle stance and started to charge at Combusken to what seem as a Headbutt attack.

"Combusken, watch out for the Headbutt attack", Dante said to Combusken only to see that Combusken got hit by the attack. "Combusken, use Ember."

Combusken got up from the attack that Aron did and blew out five small fireballs at the Aron. Aron dodged at least one of the small fireballs but got hit by the other four. That attack made the wild Aron go down on one knee. With that, Dante saw that the Aron got hit badly and took out an empty pokeball from his backpack. Then, Dante threw the pokeball at the Aron in hopes of catching the pokemon. The flew toward the injured Aron and hit it which opened and then the Aron went inside. With that happened, the pokeball closed and started to shake back and froth.

"Come on", Dante said as the pokeball shaken once.

With the next two shakes of the pokeball, Dante was hoping that Aron would be caught. Then, the pokeball stopped shaking and the dot turned red signaling that Aron got caught.

"Awesome, got a new pokemon to my team", Dante said as he walked up to the pokeball and picked it up. "Welcome to the team, Aron. Okay Combusken, return."

Dante held out Combusken's pokeball and recalled his pokemon back into it. With that done, Dante placed Combusken's and Aron's pokeballs onto his belt. After that, Dante decided to head back to the academy grounds to see what was going on. Dante turned around and started walking to the cave's entrance. Once there, Dante looked out on the view of the island and saw an old building that looks to be haunted.

Dead Forest

The screech rippled through the foest, and for a moment nothing happened. Yet... after several long moments rustling could be heard. A gengar emerged from the brush! It glowed with a ghostly power. It promptly glared at Vincent and his pokemon, preventing escape through instilling a supernatural fear! It then just sort of stared them down, a weird sadistic grin on it's face. The supernatural feeling of dread got stronger for an unknown reason, and after a few moments Vincent would be able to hear someone approaching. Who was out here, and was it their gengar?

When the person became visible it was...
Spoiler:

A young woman around 14 or 15 of age stepped though the brush. She was wearing a tuxedo top complete with white undershirt and a red tie with black stripes on it tucked under her tux. Rather than fitting black pants she wore a short black skirt, leaving her legs bare. She was wearing black dress shoes and grey leg warmers which covered most of her lower legs, ending just below her knees. A black fedora with a small red bow on it adorned her head. Despite her seemingly fancy atire one might be drawn to her face. She had extremely messy, long brown hair that looked like it hadn't been brushed or tamed in a long time. It reached her shoulders, even going slightly past. Her eyes were green and intense, and combined with a rather disturbing smile on her face it might seem she had poor intentions. Yet... her grin abruptly faded for no apparent reason. Her eyes appeared to be glued to Vincent. For a moment she observed him as if attempting to pierce his soul with her eyes before speaking. Her eyes suggested she didn't sleep much. Overall she seemed reasonably fit for a girl her age though.

"So... who are you?"

When she spoke, the dissonant smile reappeared on her face. She abruptly started to approach Vincent at a very leisurely walk. She hadn't acknowledged the gengar, and it didn't seem to mind her intrusion. One might assume it was in fact hers based on that.

Vincent Xackford Luna

Alright this was officially creeping Vince out. The quietness of the forest after Dyno's screech just added to the feeling of fear as the Gengar appeared which actually the site of the pokemon calmed him down a bit. The Zorua on his head was frozen in fear and even Dyno, who didn't let anything get to him, stepped back a bit and growled.

As the girl in the tuxedo appeared Vincent sighed, she must be the owner of the Gengar. Something was still creeping him out however even though this girl was kind of cute she had a frightening aura about her.

"My name is Vincent Xackford Luna you can call me Vince, Xack or Luna," He said answering her question as he walked a bit closer to her. "So tell me what's you name and what's a pretty girl like yourself doing in a scary forest like this," Xack added with a smile. In the back of his mind he was making a creep out face seeing as this girl's stare seemed as if it wanted to suck his very soul from his body but he was going to act totally calm about everything.

"Well Growlie-Chan we finally made it!" said Maya, as she stepped of the boat to the island with her faithful Growlithe to the side of.

"Excuse me mam, are you miss Maya Ashford?" asked a man as he was writing some notes in a drak red notebook about Maya.
"I'm Mr Summers, I look after all of the new students to Entei. Did all of you and all of your Pokemon make it here safetly?"

"We Sure did! Out you come Toto-Chan and Sakura-Chan!" Maya reached for two pokeballs, (a net ball and a love ball to be precise) and tossed them high into the air. Two beams of light came out of each pokeball and when they hit the ground they both changed into sort of humanoid shapes, the first of a Totodile and the second of Ralts.

"Good. All safe and sound would you all like to follow me to your dorm?" said Mr.Summers as he started to lead the way to the Entei dorm...
----

"Well this is the Entei Dorm! your room is number 132. Your classes will start in the morning. You'll have to choose a class to take for the time being as were doing type specialist classes. Anything in mind you want to do?"

"Um... sign me up for water please, as I need to train harder with Toto-chan ." She said queitly.

"Ok! I'll tell the teacher your going tomorrow then. Well since it's getting late you'd better unpack and get ready for bed. I'll see you soon!"

"Ok, bye Mr.Summers." Mr.Summers walked of eventually dissapering into the dark night. Maya walked up to room 132 and with a rusty key opened the door to find her dorm room waiting for her with a fully made bed, a TV, dresser and bathroom. She quickly unpacked her things. While putting up pictures of friends and places she would eventually love to visit, she stumbled across a photo of her brother Tommy.

"Just wait big bro, I'll find you!" She said whilst tightly grabbing the photo and her eyes starting to gently tear up.

Dardanette Korie

And... little did Vincent know exactly how close to the truth he was about that stare. The girl stopped for a moment and her gaze seemed to soften somewhat. The compliment honestly seemed to please her. When she spoke, her tone was hushed as if she were afraid to speak.

"You think that..? ..."

Yet, immediately after she finished that sentence her gaze fell and she went on to mumble something that sounded like gibberish. As in, one could make out what she was saying, but it was /literally/ gibberish. When her gaze rose again her smile quivered a bit, closely imitating an involuntary twitch. Something was... wrong with this girl. When she had stepped into the area the forest's aura had gotten /stronger/. Hmm...

"My name's... Dardanette."

Suddenly, her tone got slightly more intense.

"I /live/ here..."

And then it softened again. Yet there seemed to be hidden intent in what she said next.

"Will you... stay with me?"

She reached out as she said this as if wanting him to take her hand. The 'forever' at the end of that sentence was almost implied. The weird part was... Why would she even ask that? Did she think he'd do it?

Vincent Xackford Luna

Ok this girl is weird, like really weird. "Yeah I think that why would I lie about something like that?" Vince laughed as he then noticed that Shade was still frozen in fear.

"Well nice to meet you Dardanette," Vince said as he bowed to her. When she said she lived here Vince scratched the backside of his head. Why would anyone want to live here? Another thing Vince didn't see any signs of civilization anywhere not even a house. Her tone had also change which got Vince a little worried but he ignored it.

"Yeah I guess I can stay here with you for a bit," Vince said as he reached his hand out. Before he could grab her's Dyno jumped at Vince and bit his hand. "Oww! What the heck Dyno!" He growled as he shook the Deino off. When he looked down to his pokemon the Deino was shaking his head no.

<Vince this girl is giving the freaking creeps man!> Shade cried out moving for the first time. Vince looked at his two pokemon and shook his head.

"You two can be so rude sometimes she just wants to hang out for a while," Vince said as he grabbed her hand. Dyno shook his head in disappointment and shame and Shade just sat there and hunkered down more.

Dardanette Korie

Dardanette almost took Vincent's hand when his deino abuptly bit him. She flinched briefly, staring at the deino a displeased look on her face. However, she seemed to decide not to do or say anything about him, rather Vincent had agreed and she took his hand. Her grip was firm, and her smile turned into a grin. What was she grinning about? She reached out with her other han and cupped his hand between hers, invading Vincent's personal space a bit.

"Thank you... I will make sure you are... comfortable..."

As she said this, Vincent would feel a supernatural force tug at his very soul. It was honestly a weak enough force that Vincent in his current state of good health and mind would probably be able to resist it unless he was so surprised that he failed to react or something like that. He was of course not physically dying whatsoever. It was not painful. It was more like an out of body experience if anything, as if his spirit were being drown out of his physical manifestation. The big difference? His spirit was being drawn to her, not just out of his body. By the way she spoke, it honestly seemed as if she thought he was okay with what she was doing. Needless to say, it might seem that she was a bit out of touch with reality. If Vincent tried, he would be unable to pull his hand away from her. However, his pokemon might have more luck if they tried or were ordered to.

Mark could hear Jimmy's stomach from quite a distance. Mark wasn't sure why he hadn't gotten food yet. Maybe he didn't know... true some foods often required to pay for lunch but in a place like this where young kids are by theirselves, the school wouldn't assume everyone would have money. Mark and Snype looked at eachother at confusion and then looked back to Jimmy.

"...You do know the food here is free... right?" Mark pointed out. Snype snickered quietly.

Vince hadn't realize this but he had dropped Blitz's and Terra's pokeballs on the ground next to his feet. Dyno had grabbed the two pokeballs and hid behind Vince as he grabbed the girl's hand along with Shade who had jumped off Vince's head. Speaking of which Vince started to feel strange like as if his very being was being sucked out of his body. He then felt a tug on his back. When he looked behind himself it was Blitz who was pulling on his shirt. The Charizard actually flung his trainer through the air making him land a good distance back. Blitz then used a Flamethrower to create a wall of fire to separate them from the girl. On the other side of the flame wall with Dardanette Terra popped out of the ground from using dig.

<Excadrill!> Terra growled warning the girl to stay away from Vince. He then got into a fighting stance just in case she was going to show some resistance.

<See Vince I told you she was bad news!> Shade said as Vince snapped back into reality.

"Woah what just happened?!" He exclaimed as he walked up to the flame wall. "What were you trying to do!?" He asked shouting through the wall of flames. Blitz stood behind Vince ready to protect him just in case Terra had failed.

Dardanette Korie

Dardanette had Vincent yanked violently out of her grin and a wall of fire was created between her and him. She just sort of peered through the flames, staring at Blitz in something akin to insulted disbelief. The expression on her face seemed read 'How dare you..?!' as if it was Blitz that had done something despicable and not herself. Dardanette stepped back and pulled out several ultra balls, carelessly tossing them to the ground.

A swalot, golurk, zweilous, and eelektric came out, who were quickly joined by the Gengar's from earlier.

A ghostly aura formed around Dardanette and that odd smile returned to her face. An identical aura formed around her pokemon. What was she doing? Well, obviously preparing for a battle!

"I will... take all of you..."

Just then Swalot got worked up, abruptly launching a powerful sludge wave attack at the entire group of pokemon, a literal wave of toxic liquid being sent crashing towards them. Meanwhile, Eelektrik engaged. Blitz, using wild charge on him in an attempt to take advantage of the type advantage. Zweilous' two heads took aim at Dump and fired a dragon pulse attack! Golurk floated over towards Terra rather slowly as if it weren't even trying. All of a sudden it reached back and punched thin air! Yet, it's arm vanished as it punched out. It was shadow punch, an attack that would land without fail. Golurk's arm would suddenly emerge nearby Terra from Terra's own shadow to strike.

(Joint Post. Takumi (blue) and Ashara (green) )

Takumi trekked through the mountains outside of the academy in his normal on-campus academy attire: A white heavily altered old Lugia Dorm jacket, dark purplish navy pants, a violet colored shirt, and a red scarf around his neck with white shoes. It was usually odd for him to wear this outfit when he was outside in areas like this; he'd normally wear his other darker colored black jacketed outfit when he would be out in these areas training. But then again, he wasn't here right now to train his pokemon. He had come out here to have a morning walk before most of the classes began on the schedule today.

He wasn't expecting or planning into the possibility of running into anyone from the academy up here.

Ash grunted as she punched into another boulder. Dear God she was out of practice. Really, just a couple of months off routine due to some... minor fights and now she couldn't even focus her Aura into her fist enough. Ugh... more work for her it seemed. She thought the swimming and exercise had helped a little. She heard a snort from behind her and rolled her eyes. "Shaddup Kira." He made a gesture behind her and she rolled her eyes. "I will sick Carrie on you, I swear I will." He shrugged, begging her to try.

Sighing, she spun back into a kick, glad to see the crack she had made into the large piece of rock. She jumped back, nearly grabbing one of her shoes. It was always nice to be barefoot training in the high-up. It wasn't nearly as much fun as the volcano she was going to tomorrow but it made a decent runner up. Ash paused in her training suddenly. Someone was coming up the mountain. She shrugged and ignored it, brushing her hair back. Was probably just a trainer looking to snag a new Pokemon before class.

Something seemed odd. Takumi straightened his black hair with his hand for a moment before he opened up his senses to his surroundings, standing still as he tried to figure out what it was. It sounded like. . . rocks cracking perhaps? He heard what sounded like a female voice but that wasn't all. Something felt. . . strange in the air. Some other kind of energy. It seemed somewhat familiar to him. It was almost like the energy he felt from his own Lucario from time to time. What was it called again. Aura? Was that what his pokemon referred to it as once?

He didn't bother wasting time to pull out Lucario or ask him about it. He decided to look into this matter himself. Hugging the edge of the rock wall, the 14 year old at possibly 5'9'' or taller at the very least slowly slid accross it before looking around the corner of the rock wall to see a blonde haired girl training against a rock while her Lucario stood close by.

Takumi's red eyes narrowed as he studied them. I don't sense the aura from earlier coming from the Lucario. Could it be that his trainer-, His attention then directed towards the girl. It feels like she's exerting some sort of energy with her moves. Is she the one exerting this energy?

This somewhat interested Takumi. He himself had a few special. . . abilities of his own somewhat similar to the energy he felt the girl exerting. Namely his own psychic abilities.

He decided to stop hiding and reveal himself to these two. Perhaps they can be useful to him in achieving his own goals.

"Excuse me Miss, and Lucario. I do not hope I am disturbing something am I?" he asked the two in a calm well mannered voice.

"My name is Takumi Ryuuhiko. I am a former member of the Lugia Dorm at the Academy, only recently returning this year as a Suicune Dorm Student," he began. It was always polite to introduce one's self first before asking for the other party's identities. Despite being 14, his face seemed a bit more. . . chiseled and mature and all that, he basically is handsome compared to most kids his age and looks somewhat maybe two years or so older thanks to the combination of his height and face. "May I ask who you both are?"

Ash would have turned but she was in mid-move. She quickly finished her punch, letting out a happy cheer as the rock in front of her shattered. "YES~ Finally...." She took a few deep breaths, settling her Aura into the all familiar calm it usually took around her." She turned to the boy who had spoken. Kira had not reacted so she was certain they had little to fear from tis kid. She couldn't see his features naturally, Aura only giving her the shape of something instead of its definition. She didn't really think it would matter if she could. There was another boy she liked, one who was so deep into his journey it was a miracle he remembered to answer the phone.

Her teal eyes narrowed as she looked in the boy's direction. "I'm Ashara Harris, a student teacher," she replied merrily after a moment. "But you can just call me Ash if ya'd like." Kira scoffed, arms still crossed over his chest. Ash snorted. "Get over yerself ya arrogant punk. That over there is Kira, a pain in my rear and my first Pokemon. See how well that's gone." She shook her head as the Lucario casually sent an Aura Sphere flying towards her. She sidestepped casually, unconcerned. "I love you too Kira."

Ash raised an eyebrow. "It's a bit early for class isn't it? What's a student doing up here?"

It would not have mattered if Ashara was single or not to Takumi anyways. He had returned to the Academy with his own personal goals and agenda in mind. Sadly this did not include dating or a love life. (OOC: Don't worry ladies. He's still single, you just gotta be able to work with his flaws if ya wanna date him lol)

The girl just punched through a rock. Takumi was a bit surprised but he didn't let it show too well on his face. At best he was giving the kind of look one would normally give in terms of one being mildly or lightly surprised. He knew a person's special energy, be it called magic, mana, psychic, aura, the Force, etc., can do a variety of things. Not that he's convinced it's possible for people to be able to shoot lightning or fire or some other creepy magic stuff like you see in a fantasy movie and all, but in his mind he doesn't dismiss such possibilities either.

"Impressive," he said after she destroyed that rock.

He stood there and paid attention to her as she introduced herself and her pokemon to him, despite their apparent fighting between each other to the point that her Lucario tried attacking his own trainer with a small Aura Sphere. He wasn't going to comment on their bickering, that would be rude.

"A pleasure Miss Ashara Harris and Kira," he said to them both.

If Aura gives shape for Ashara to see, then she may notice Takumi's Aura is different from most people one would normally see. Namely just because of his own psychic abilities and all that. He had received training for his psychic powers, and definitely seemed to have done well to develope them.

"I decided to take a morning walk observing the island's nature before classes start at the academy. After the Lugia Dorm incident 3 years ago, I myself was forced to withdraw from the Academy for some. . . family matters," he began. He had hesitated before saying family matters, but the tone he used to describe family matters had a slight hint of . . . well darkness to it. Or negative feelings towards it. His tone returned to normal when he continued. "As of such, now that I've returned I have decided to tour the island just to see how things had changed in three years time. The fresh air is also rather enjoyable. It also gives me a bit of time to think and consider what class to attend today."

Takumi looked at the rock that Ashara had destroyed. ". . . Forgive me for asking this. That wasn't physical strength that you used to destroy that rock was it? You used. . . it felt almost like what my Lucario refers to as 'Aura'. Did you honestly use this. . . 'Aura', or do you have some kind of special psychic energy flowing through you?"

Why would a kid his age be asking about stuff like that? Better yet, by the way he was acting and the reasons he gave to why he was out this early. . . Well Takumi was definitely acted more mature than most kids his age do. Could that be in regards to his wealthy family upbringing? . . . Well, it was due to his upbringing, but . . . Well, if asked, he wouldn't exactly say his parents were a very positive influence in his life.

Ash didn't hear the compliment, going over to Kira. She returned him promptly, knowing his antisocial would ruin the mood. Instead she released her happy-go-lucky Raichu, who grinned impishly, punching the air. She patted her head and examined the boy's Aura again. He was a Psychic. No surprise there. Ash didn't need to see individual auras to know there were "gifted" people in this school. She made no comment about his explanation or his behavior. It wasn't entirely her business and as much as Ash loved running in guns blazing, personal matters were too complicated to do that with.

She then looked at him again, still gently petting Riley's head. "Well... yes I do use Aura. I have been using it for a long time. And don't worry about Kira. He's perfectly fine when I'm around." She paused for a brief second. "The abilities of others are interesting to you aren't they?" Her tone was casual, not lifting from the natural drawl. The topic was a curiosity, nothing more.

Ah so she is an Aura user. Rather interesting to see a human with the ability to use Aura, although Takumi remembered reading some articles debating the similarities between those who use aura compared to psychic users that often inquired whether or not they were the same, depending on one's definition of spiritual energy and mental energy.

A bunch of philosophical nonsense in truth. Point was that both groups of humans still had a strange mystic power that could do different things. That's what he believes they all come down to in the end.

"I see," he replied to her answer about aura users. He was a little curious what she was meaning to do now that she brought out a raichu, but from what he could gather it was probably to help her continue her training.

He tilted his head lower so that it almost seemed like he was looking at the ground, had his eyes closed, and grinned when she asked him that question. You know, it's usually the kind of facial gesture someone of high society or of proper and noble breeding tend to do when they try to give a collected. . . smug or grin like thing and a small chuckle or at best a 'heh' or 'hmph' when she asked that question. (OOC: I don't know exactly the best way to describe what you would normally see this kind of grin from someone like him used for but I hope you got an idea of what kind of facial expression and gesture he's doing.)

He quickly brought his head back up and looked back at her straight in the eyes. "Indeed they do. After all . . . why should one human fear another who has special abilities when they could learn from them instead?"

A question he had always asked himself based on his own experiences in the past 14 years of his life.

She had no clue what he was doing of course. She couldn't really tell. "It's something to learn from indeed." Ash lifted her hair up and tied it into a ponytail. Riley walked over to a boulder and began to slash at it with a steel tail. She seemed to be in deep concentration, slashing rapidly back and forth. "People will fear what they don't understand." Ash paused for a moment, then smiled at the younger male.

"So..." she began lazily. "Classes don't start for a bit but i have a feeling you're an eager student. What do you want to learn? I'm a teacher of self defense and intermediate battle study, and I have knowledge of eight types currently on hand and the other eleven at my house." Ash leapt to land on another large rock. "It takes training to do this by the way," she informed him merrily. If he wanted to talk about his upbringing that was his business. She wouldn't force it out when they had just met.

Her words had truth in them. Heck, his childhood was kinda bad just from his parents' own fear. Fear is a powerful motivational tool. One Takumi may take advantage of in the future.

He had noticed Raichu begin working on a rock to practice on for itself, but didn't pay too much attention to it as he was currently talking with Ashara.

He listened to her as she began talking again and asked what he wanted to learn. She had an impressive resume and list of skills she taught. Then he watched her jump and land on a rock that was probably close to the size of a Charizard. He couldn't help but give a small smirk at her comment about it taking training to be able to jump onto a rock as large as the one she was currently standing on.

"Heh. . . a rather impressive Resume Miss Ashara," he commented to her.

He thought for a moment and began to pace.

He looked back up to her after a few moments. ". . . All of those I would enjoy learning. Self Defense. . . Intermediate Battle. . . I can think of a few specific types I would enjoying more of. . . Even some things about Aura as well."

Ash shrugged. "Meh, I've heard better." This was something she made an effort to do, state the facts and then deny how positively amazing it was. It made people believe she was humble, at least part of the time. Good first impressions were important after all. She honestly forgot who told her that. The students had to think she was professional. The teachers... eh they knew better. She grinned a little, looking slightly mischevous.

"Well pick one topic," she stated, scowling at her ponytail. "And we'll start there. Other students should be coming up here at some point but we've got until after breakfast. If others show up anyway." Ash sat on the boulder, tossing a pebble. "Also, the thing about Aura is... even if you can use another ability already, it doesn't mean you can access this. Draws power out of you and the planet. Aura's tricky that way."

"My Lucario seems to agree with you on that topic," he said to her after hearing her explanation about Aura.

He reached for his pokeballs with one hand and let out all three members of his team, a charmander, a lucario, and a metang. "These are the members of my own team. While I am at the academy my team and I have one goal. The Lugia Dorm's infestation of Ghost Pokemon. I wish to find out what exactly caused the infestation to happen three years ago. In order to do that, I will need to venture into the dorm again."

His Lucario looked over to Kira for a moment, and then to Ashara. It seemed Takumi's Lucario noticed the woman's affinity for Aura as well.

Ash raised an eyebrow and nodded. Kira blinked impassively at the other, younger Lucario. He rolled his eyes a bit and watched RIley train a bit more. Ash then nodded passively. "Those are all Pokemon I've got on me," she stated after a moment. "Is there anything you want them to learn? I'd say let us fight but that would not end well. With what level your Pokemon are likely at..." She grinned a bit. "It'd be a beatdown. So how do you wanna start?" Ash was not much of a planner when it came to classes. She wanted to spend her first real classes assessing the little buggers, see just how screwed she was. With a tiny sigh, she beckoned Kira forward. "Which Pokemon do you want to train first?"

Takumi returned Charmander and Metang to their pokeballs before he signaled his Lucario to come forward. Lucario stood with his arms at his sides and his feet a bit more than shoulder width apart as he stood in front of Takumi.

"You would be right in assuming so," he said to her. "My pokemon are all currently at level 20, not to mention my team is probably half the size yours currently is, so I would agree that it wouldn't be a very even fight between us should we attempt a Pokemon Battle, or even if I was to take on some of the other students at the academy or the ghosts of the Lugia Dorm. Still, I aim to fix that problem soon."

He points to his Lucario. "Out of the current members of my team, Lucario is the one I need the most training in terms of his potential with Aura, let alone should he help me in my fight against most of the ghosts in the Lugia dorm. His current attacks are Bone Rush, Dark Pulse, Aura Sphere, Rock Smash, Metal Claw, and Force Palm."

His Lucario brought up both his front paws together and bowed before resuming his original stance.

Ash nodded. She thought for a few moments then placed her fingers to her temple and breathed slowly. "Aura requires a certain inner emotional state to function properly. Even if on the outside you are so angry you are seeing red, your heart has to be like a rock against the waves. If it isn't, your Aura will not listen no matter how much you call." Her voice was quiet and even, the seriousness of this topic showing in her teal eyes. "Aura has a limited effect on ghosts, simply due to it being a part of a living creature and not the dead." She glanced at Kira.

"As much as this guy and I butt heads, we are a pretty good team, if I do say so myself. A good way to improve a creature's control over Aura is for the trainer to work with them, be it with meditation or practicing the flow through the body. Also, earn some money." She smiled a bit, a crooked grin. "Your Lucario needs a stronger Fighting and Steel move if you want him involved in close combat like Rock Smash and Metal Claw."

Takumi listened to Ash as she began explaining Aura to Takumi and his Lucario. The heart must be like a rock against the waves, huh? Takumi's will was strong if anything, and his Lucario was certainly well tempered if anything.

"A few questions," he began. "First, I only thought Aura's power came from the user of the power. Are you telling me that for Aura to work it not only involves the user's aura, but the target's aura as well? Second, what ways are there for Lucario to practice the flow of Aura through his body, and should I be practicing this flow on myself if I want his strength and abilities over Aura to increase? Third . . . do you have any steel or fighting moves in mind to teach Lucario in place of Rock Smash and Metal Claw?"

Money wasn't a problem to him really. Apparently the TM's Ash must've had in mind must've been rather expensive.

Ash paused for only a beat, having been thinking about something else entirely while the boy had spoken. "In the case of Ghosts yes. There's a reason Fighting moves don't work on Ghost types without moves such as Foresight and Miracle Eye. Ghosts are on an entirely different plane of existence than the living. I know, a pain, but that's what happens when you're, well, dead. When it comes to other types, unsettling the target's aura with the user's makes it more affective. It still works on them, but it's not nearly as effective as it appears."

She nodded firmly. "Next, ways to practice Aura are focus and meditation. Aura is like taking a step back from your world when you first use it. It feels like a set of limbs you aren't used to." She snorted abruptly. "Plus when you're little, you feel like you're on so much sugar you are literally clinging to the bloody ceiling. But anyway... when it comes to Aura..." She held out her hand as an Aura sphere appeared above her hand. "Kid don't try this, I am warning you because inexperienced users have a habit of blowing their hands off on this without control. Trust me, not pretty. This is just to display something." The Sphere sank around her hand, wrapping around it like a cocoon. "The idea is to begin by focusing Aura to one part of the body at a time and as you get used to that concentration, you can alter it to more at once. Concentrating on it around your hand is a start but you have to meditate first if you both want to do it. Your breathing, your body's rhythm needs to be in perfect sync. Even your thoughts have to meld. It takes more than will power and serenity with yourself and your Pokemon, it takes understanding the area itself you are practicing in and learning the flow of energy. If it's too low, nothing happens. Too high and you run the risk of killing yourself or at least severe injury from the inside."

Ash then nodded. "Brick Break for a start, along with Flash Cannon. Lucario can also learn Psychic and Shadow Ball, if you considered those."

"So despite the fact that Ghost Pokemon are essentially still living . . . just because they are on a different plain of existence that allows them to be immune to Aura," he said all this as if trying to confirm what she had just said.

He watched her form the orb and had it surround her hand as she warned him not to attempt what she was doing without training and proceeded to continue her explanation of Aura.

His Lucario seemed to be trying to attempt what she just did with Aura. Seemed like he was sorta able to do it without much trouble at first, forming the orb that is. When it came to having the Aura surround his own paw. . . the energy around his hand was beginning to waver and seemed somewhat erratic rather than controlled. Luckily Lucario was able to stop the Aura and had it slowly die down around his hand before anything bad had happened. Takumi looked at his own hand before looking at Lucario, a silent telepathic conversation between them confirming Takumi's suspicions to obey what she said.

He looked at her and nodded, making note of some of the moves she recommended. Shadow Ball he already taught Metang, and Psychic was one move he was hoping to teach Metang in time.

"I will keep all of this in mind," he said to her.

"Meditation . . . and focus . . . is something I've had experience with in some earlier years," he began. He reached out his hand as his eyes began to glow and slowly began to lift up a rock about the size of a baseball at best and had it float over and land in his hand. "I suspect the methods used for Psychics and Aura users are more different than what you have let on about. Correct?"

Granted he's not too sure himself. Focusing on himself and on others around him, meditating, all that. . . it sounds similar to what he normally had to do to train his own psychic abilities in the past, and from what he looked up, Aura Sphere was a Psychic Type attack . . . But he didn't know how different Aura was for humans, even if the Aura Sphere attack is a Psychic type move.

Ash shook her head a little. "There's a common misconception that Aura Sphere's a Psychic move," she said quietly. "It's a Fighting move. Psychic abilities have to do with the mind while Aura does more with the body. Emotions are felt in both so it has to do with both of them. Funnily enough we still can use telepathy." She watched the rock float and nodded. "It is rather different. You only have to focus on yourself with a psychic power, unless it's fully directed toward others. Even then it's not completely the same. Aura requires much more of a connection."

She gestured to Riley, who padded over happily. "Anything about your other Pokemon you need to go over or do you still have questions?"

Takumi looked up at her and listened as she continued the explanation of the difference between Aura and Psychics. He let the stone in his hand fall to the ground.

"No . . . You have answered enough of my questions for today. Thank you for your time Miss Ashara," he said bowing. He returned Lucario to his pokeball and turned to head back down the mountain. "I look forward any future lessons you will have to teach me."

And with that Takumi proceeded to go back down the mountain and back to the academy.

"It's my job," Ash said simply. "And just Ash. My mother had to have been on Razz when that name popped into her head." She turned back to her training. Riley punched the air happily, cheeks sparking. It was time to wait for everyone else to show up wasn't it? Ah waiting sucked.

After hearing Mark's comment, Jimmy's scarcasm started to come out. "No, I actually...never thought I could get food in a cafeteria..." he said and clutched his stomach, then added "Of course I know! You think just because I wear this yellow jacket I'm stupid?!" He sounded like he was awfully mad at Mark, but he was actually mad at his mom for not giving him money and his stomach for...well...you know.

[Nothin' much. Got here last night, so...] Smokey said, in a relaxed tone before he turned when he heard Jimmy yell.

Rama was cackling, rolling on the floor. "Hey you rude little maggot," he barked playfully. "This ain't your playpen!"

Pala was pouting at Sprinkles. She hopped down to glare at the Eevee. "You stop that!" she squeaked with a tiny growl. Her voice was deepening a little, sounding more like a bear at last. "You bully! Leave Skye's stuff alone! You ask for stuff! You don't take it! Get out!" She looked ready to blow her top, literally. Skye looked around and shrugged. He just hoped the fox didn't go after the small statue he had kept packed up this week. He wasn't quite sure how his dad would react to that.

Ellie left her Pokeball at that moment and sighed a little. Calling upon her Psychic powers, she aimed to lift the hyperactive Eevee into the air.

Ciel sat down away from all the conversation. That boy with the Koffing scared him... really badly scared him. He seemed like such a punk. Was there going to be a gang now? Um... okay... no... that was a bad thing... wasn't it?

He quickly ate and left, heading to a class. He was going to train Triac.Didn't that mean Lt Surge? Oh no... Ah... he could probably handle it. At least it wasn't Sabrina. He released Triac then and the Flaffy walked placidly beside him, sparks flying from his wool casually.

Marks eye twitched a bit when he made a comment about the yellow jacket. He looked down at his own yellow jacket and back to him.

"Dude, I'm part of the Raikou Dorm too. I'm just saying if your hungry, why not grab a bite? Your not gonna last a day if you don't at least grab an apple or something. I know that all too well." Mark said to him. He didn't see why he wasn't going out to eat something. It was clear that he was hungry.

"Well anyway Max, I guess I'll see you in class. Comon Able, Snype. Let's head out." Mark said cheerfully as he made his way out the cafeteria.

Sprinkles

"Is too!" Sprinkles shouted at Rama, "the whole world is my playpen! I just picked here to play!"

Sprinkles leapt back to the ground and ran circles around Pala.

"Hey! I'm not taking anything! I'm exploring! It's fun, you should try it! Oh-whoa!" Sprinkles said as he was lifted into the air. He looked around and saw Ellie. He giggled a bit as he floated. His tail was twitching madly and he began fussing with the large blue bow on his head.

"So, you ever gonna put me down!? I got places to go, people to meet, ice cream to find! By the way, you got any ice cream?" he asked Ellie rapidly.

Brian

"Sprinkles! Where'd you go?" Brian called as he walked down the hall.Thyme was sitting on his shoulder, gripping her little pitchfork. She looked around the hallway with a scowl on her face. Drizzle was running ahead of them. He stopped at an open door and peeked in.

"I found him Bri!" Drizzle called out. He squeezed himself inside of Skye's room and chuckled at the floating eevee. Sprinkles scowled and began squirming in the psychic hold.

"Let me down!" he shouted. Bri reached the doorway. He scowled at Drizzle and Sprinkles.

"There you are! Sprinkles, calm down! And Drizzle, you should knock before you go into someone elses room!" Brian scolded from the doorway.

Vendra Gerrard

Ven got back to his dorm and drank a bit of water."Snacks, you shouldn't get yourself into fights like that again, okay?" Snacks nodded, Ven doubted she meant it, but it was okay for the time being.
"Hmph, me no likes people taking me snacks. Why should listens to him? Him just make me lose snacks if me do that!" whined Snacks.
"You shouldn't be like that, Ven doesn't want you to get into any trouble, that's all" comforted Veera
"Me no cares! Me like me foods and me no want to give me foods to anybody!" whined Snacks again
"Listen little guy, you are going to get yourself into big trouble if you act like that all the time. And I don't want you to get hurt or somethin' and so does Ven and Veera." scolded Falco
"Fine, fine, me no go chasing foods if someone takes me foods." Snacks said, but he didn't mean it. He only wanted to stop getting scolded.
Shortly afterwards, Snacks had left without anyone noticing.
"Snacks! Where are you?" yelled Ven. Without much effort searching, it turns out Snacks had gone to the beach again to snack on a fish. "Uwah! That was a greats snacks! Me wants more, but me to lazy. Oh well me go here next time." said Snacks to Himself. "You little feaster, you came here without telling anyone, and you came here to eat, only to eat!" said Ven to Snacks. "Meh, oh well. It's not like you got into any trouble did you? We're heading out anyway." He walked out of the beach while putting Snacks to sleep on top of his head. Snacks burped, and was it smelly. It smelled like rotten fish. "Eeewwww. What did you eat Snacks?" asked Ven while washing his hair with seawater and a bit of Veera's water from her Hydro Pump. "Snacks, me eats Snacks. Snack, to be exact. One fishy fish, raw and delicious" replied Snacks. Ven had no idea what Snacks was saying, of course."Well anyway, we were planning to go catch a pokemon somewhere else, so I think the Caves will be a good place to look." said Ven to Snacks. After a bit of travelling, Ven reached the caves and started looking for a pokemon. He decided the first thing he saw would be what he catches. Shortly after, a Makuhita appeared looking for a fight. Ven smirked,"Go Zemrath use Psycho Cut!" Ven released Zemrath and he cut the Makuhita with a strong , sharp and blade-like aura. The Makuhita was hit with a super effective attack and fell on it's feet, it had lost it's balance but was still poised for a counter attack. It jumped forward while using Arm Thrust to inflict a good amount of damage. "Block it Zemrath!" commanded Ven. But it was futile, the quick flurry of palm attacks had broke through Zemrath's guard and hurt him badly. "Hang on Zemrath!" encouraged Ven. "Ven wants me to hang on, so I hang on!" Zemrath slashed nearby sharp rocks and launched it to the Makuhita. It destroyed every single piece of stone or rock thrown at him, but left his guard wide open. "Now's your chance, fire your Psycho cuts again Zemrath!" commanded Ven once again. This time, Zemrath wanted to end it so he charged his power until he had full energy in his blades and fired a massive blue aura blade to lower Makuhita's health. The Makuhita was blown away as Ven threw his pokeball. He had caught a Makuhita! His first ever fighting type pokemon! He named him Endure and strolled around the island to refresh before heading back to his dorm.

Whoa, this guy needed to chill out a bit. Granted he may be so hungry that he could faint, but you don't start yelling at people.
"Hey Jimmy, calm down a bit." Maxwell said, "Just grab something to eat and then go to your class." wow, he sounded just like a teacher breaking up a fight, and it felt kinda weird...
"Here, you can take the map I marked." Maxwell said in a happy tone and handed Jimmy the map he had marked earlier.

[Oh, you did? So how are you feeling about tihs place then?] Quillie said to the Koffing, but before he could converse further with Smokey, Maxwell suddenly whistled meaning it was time to get going.
[Heh, sorry but it seems that I have to go, I hope we'll meet again.] Quillie took off, maybe Koffings aren't too bad afterall...

"Huh?" Maxwell saw Mark starting to walk away, Oh yeah! Class! He had almost forgotten about it!
"Well Jimmy I gotta get to my lesson sooo, take care! I hope we'll meet again" Maxwell said as he started to run after Mark, he whistled his pokemon to his side so that they wouldn't be left behind and so that they could get some exercise aswell.
Quillie of course sprinted along with Maxwell, easily keeping up the pace.
Wilson was a little bit slower, but still fast enough.
Slackey quickly gave up and leapt onto Maxwell's head where he fell asleep.
Katam had problems with moving at all, since he didn't have any legs.

Maxwell slowed down when he came closer to Mark, he put on the mask just so his costume would be complete. He searched the inside of the robe with a determined look on his face,
"Where is it now...? Aha!" Maxwell pulled out a bag of Hippowdo's in case he would want some snacks, he ripped the bag open and started to eat some chips.
"Hey Mark, do you want some?" Maxwell asked and held out the bag towards Mark.
[Hey wait for me guys!] Katam said as he slowly flopped up to Maxwell, he was exhausted! That was the worst thing he had ever done in his life! Maxwell returned the Tympole to his pokeball and proceeded to walk alongside Mark.

"Good morning Growlie-Chan!" Maya said to her loyal Growlithe who was sleeping right beside her. "Today I have that water class with Toto-Chan! Lets just take a look-see where it is... Aha! Battle field 4." Growlie-Chan looked puzzled because he didn't understand a word and quite upset that Maya choose to work with Toto-Chan instead of him. Maya started to pack her bag that had a picture of various badges from kanto, soul, marsh and rainbow to name a few. "Ok let's see if we have everything. Pokegear check, map check, berries incase we get hungry check and notebook check. We're all set Growlie-Chan! Let's go!" Maya opened the door. Bright rays of sun struck down on the earth as she looked at her surroundings smiling brightly.
----
"Ah, buenos dias! You must be Maya." Said a suave gentleman who had black hair with a white highlight and a cerulean jacket.

"Omg! You're Juan the leader of Sootopolis Gym!" Said Maya exictedly but after saying that she pondered her surroundings nervously.

"Indeed I am, please come in."

Maya stepped into battlefield 4. It was a massive pool with 5 white circles dotted around the pool so that non water types could manuvere around. On the walls there was various images of water type pokemon. The biggest pictures were of a Seel and a Staryu that were plastered on the back wall. Maya joint the rest of her class that were sitting on some stools that were placed near the shallower end of the pool, there were 10 other people there 5 girls and 5 boys.

"Senhora Maya, I've assed the battle skill of all the other students. So as your primera lesson I'll assess your battle skills to see if you are ready to master the belissima power of the water type!"

"You want to battle here and now?! Just like that?! Um.. well since you'r the teacher I guess I can't say no! Toto-Chan it's showtime!" Maya grabbed the netball of her belt and tossed it into the air releasing Toto-Chan who was extactic to see all the water around him.

"Hm, a feitsy Totodile eh?" Alumnos take notes on the battle and how senhora Maya and I use the water to our advantage. "Vamos Wartortle eso tuyo vez de luchar!" Juan grabbed for his pokeball and chucked it at the water's surface releasing Wartortle, his newest addition to his team. "As your new I'll let you go first."

"Ok! Toto-Chan use Bite!" Toto-Chan launched himself in direction of Wartortle snapping his jaws as he was flying in the air. "Wartorle use Protect." Wartortle created a green barrier around his body as soon as Toto-Chan was in closing in on him. The barrier deflected Toto-Chan and sent him sinking into the water.
"That's it I have an idea. Toto-Chan use Water Gun to launch yourself into the air!" Toto-Chan gavered all of his might to create a stream of water from the bottom of the pool making him soar high into the air. "Now use Water Pulse but don't shoot it yet!" Toto-Chan made a ball of water in his mouth trying to resist to shoot it. "Now lauch it off with an Ice Punch!" With the ball of water still in his mouth, light blue streaks swirled around his fist as he launched the Water Pulse then punching it of with his Ice Punch, Creating a ball of ice that hit directly in Wartortle's chest sending him flying into the back wall.

"What a fantastico combination! But im afraid senhorita it's not good enough Wartortle first use Rapid Spian to make Totodile dizzy then hit him hard with a Skull Bash." Toto-Chan landed on one of the white circles in the pool when Wartortle started with his trainers commands. First he withdrew his bofy into his shell then started spinning at high velocity to get to Toto-Chan, then spinning around Toto-Chan to make him feel confused and dizzy and when Toto-Chan started to recover from his dizziness Wartortle hit Toto-Chan with his skull sending Toto-Chan into a side wall of the room they were in. It was a critical hit. Toto-Chan didn't have any energy left to fight. Maya lost.
