Can't imagine Japan going for that, don't they well, not like us baka gaijin. There have been so few anime produced with the west in mind over the years, even the ones that did better over here weren't really produced for us.

They've adapted our movie culture well enough. Adapt to the West more and it wouldn't be anime any more.
I mean now we're rubbing out the borders from this side too. The avatar series' have been doing a great job there.

Thinking about it I'm giving the western audience too much credit, yes a lot of us got into animu through good shows like Bebop and whatever but tbh we buy crap too. Proof of that is all of the ecchi things that Funi and the rest pick up. That's depressing but at least Michiko to Hatchin was picked up the other day, will certainly import from the US.
