Official "How much is my card worth?" Thread [READ THE FIRST POST]

Hi,

I have a raichu, base set, 14/102 and I believe this card is an error card because It is a non-holographic card and I haven't been able to find it anywhere else online.

Let me know what you think.

Most likely a fake. The color of raichu is off and most error cards have been documented.

Only card that may be worth at least $20 is the charizard. I didn't see anything worth more than that.

However, if youre interested in selling, you'd prolly get more money selling everything at once

Dunno if you can see. But I have the whole 2014 McDonald's Pokemon cards set. Can't find any values yet. Maybe it's too soon? Anyone know?

The complete set of cards seems to be parked at $20 for the price at the moment.

I can tell you right away that Rhyhorn and Ivysaur are not worth more than $0.50.

Wigglytuff is $1 to $3.

Double Colorless Energy is $0.50 to $1.

Can't half these prices be ebay'd?

Well, that's actually where I go to check. I use the Completed Listings search option to find auctions that have sold and base my prices off of what has sold. No better indicator of what it's worth than what people are actually buying and selling it for.

Based on current prices of Base Set Charizards and the fraying as well as the ink dot at the bottom looking like damage rather than a verifiable error: $10 to $20. A lot of people out there are willing to pay simply because it's a Base Set Charizard, but you may get unlucky and have to post it at the bottom of the range I posted if it doesn't sell for between $15 and $20. Most of the card looks great. It's the fraying that takes most of the value away.

I know we arent meant to post common cards, but i have a 1996 japanese wooper, its probably not worth much due to it only being a wooper and i dont think its first edition, but it is in good condition.
I have a mewtwo level X from 2008 in bad condition, that wooper i mentioned, a 2009 holo gabite and a 2009 holo octillery, im not sure where to find all the things i need so i have taken pictures of all the cards, the first 5 pictures are of the mewtwo level x but the pictures of the back are all copies for some reason,the next 4 are of the octillery with somehow one copy of the bottom of the card, the next 5 are of the 1996 wooper with one copy of the whole back of the card and the last 3 of the gabite. the link is imgur . com/a/ m2vH0#0 (obviously without the spaces, i had to bypass the no links thing, sorry : p) sorry if its hard to make out the pictures, ill try and get any specific details if asked.

I personally opened the booster pack it was found in, and it's been in a protective sleeve since the day after I got it. Do you think it would be worth my time to get it graded? Could I expect the value to increase significantly if it is given a high grade?

I heard that someone tried to sell a first edition Japanese gold star Latios that received the same PSA grade for $1000, but I have no idea whether or not they ever found a buyer.

Hello, I am new here and i was wondering if i can get my cards priced.The only bad thing is that they are in japanese and i can't read japanese.
