The Monotype Challenge

Update #1: Rock - Soul Silver
I know the Timid nature on Geodude isn't the best, but I don't really care about natures when I'm doing challenge runs (even though I probably should). Non-beneficial natures are even more of a challenge :) The Onix I have is the one you can get by trading for a Bellsprout in Voilet City.

Ran through Victory Road with my team
Beat Wally with Gardevoir also included a fun Showdown between Mega Gardevoir and Mega Gallade.
Beat Sidney with Azumarill
Beat Phoebe with Mega Mawile
Beat Glacia with Azumarill and Gardevoir
Beat Drake with Gardevoir
Beat Steven using all my team in long and difficult battle. Mega Mawile got the final blow on Mega Metagross with Crunch.
Became Champion and defeated Brendan again.

While I finish up the SoulSilver Flying, I'm probably going to start Platinum Flying. Am I allowed to hack in a Murkrow to use, as its part of the regional Pokedex, but not obtainable in Platinum?

Yeah, I suppose that would be fine. Just wait until the point when you could get it and make sure he hack is the same level you would catch it and of course it should be legal. If possible randomize the stats. etc etc.

On another note, I'm gonna try to have this thread updated tomorrow. I've been putting it off way too long.

I'll be starting as soon as I'm done with my current Nuzlocke.

Finished Y for my Mono-Bug run a little while ago but forgot to upload, unfortunately I don't have pictures as I lost the ipod I took the pictures with. I'm still working on Volt White for the Mono-Bug run, I got like 3-4 badges or something but I'll update more in-depth when I finish it. That's the last game I need to be an Ultimate Bug Champion! :) Also I just started Y for my Mono-Rock run which is the last game I need to finish for that challenge as well, but again I'll update when I finish. I'm still working on all my other challenges as well but I want to finish up these two first.

Yeah, I haven't done this in three months. Well, it's not like it was going anywhere. It's more difficult than the fire monotype since my experience is split across five pokemon rather than three, while two of them are currently not very useful at all and one is barely useful.

-: Not sure what I did since I took a long break.
-: Found myself in the middle of the ocean.
-: Got the medicine so I assume I did the lighthouse battles.
-: Fought the Suicune stalker, his Electrode got a critical with Thunder and landed it every time. Everything else was easy.
-: Fought Chuck. It went well the first time since I beat him with two Aerial Ace's and three Wing Attack's but I forgot to save. The second time went horribly because Takechiyo landed a Psybeam which completely messed up the pattern and made him use a hyper potion. Then Takumi got paralysed which allowed more Focus Punch's than it should've. Takechiyo why are you garbage, you only make things worse. I should just play with Berserker and Takumi.

By the way, whenever I get around to doing the Kalos part of my monotype run; is Exp. Share allowed? If not I'll just use four pokemon but if it is allowed then I'll rotate with ten pokemon so I don't make the challenge too easy. Someone told me that the game was pretty balanced if you use 10-12 pokemon in rotation rather than only six that get totally jacked very quickly. I'm actually kind of looking forward to trying the rotation thing so if it's not allowed I'd like to get shot down now while I'm not excited or anything. I couldn't see any rule related to exp. share on the first post.
