Adventures In The Miiverse



Introduction
Hello all, with the recent release of Miiverse I've been toying around with the ability to draw a post rather than type something. As such I have a few random drawings I've done, starting with the older ones first.

I played around a bit with the first 3, but after that I started drawing in a more uniform style with a sketchy looking end product rather than something that looks clean and polished.

Finally, if you have any suggestions on what I should attempt to draw, please do let me know, just remember that I have very small constraints on what I can draw on a 3DS with just a normal stylus.

Okay. Alright. Okay. Tabor.

I... I love this. These are so. damn. cute. You see the amount of periods I'm using? That means I'm pretty much down right astounded by your work. I love the medium, just these amazingly varying tidbits of art.. I also enjoy how sketchy they are. These are so incredibly charming. I was considering suggesting that you tighten up your lines, but upon closer inspection, that's really not necessary. You convey everything you need perfectly well, and doing anything more or less would throw that off.

Scrafty. It fits really, really well into this profile and I love that. And the expression you got in its face is just perfect!

is so incredibly expressive and cute. Like, I can see you spamming EV's profile with this or something. I just adore its face. Not to mention, the shading is dead on and your lines are cleaner (compared to the others). I just love it.

But! It doesn't stop there. Your ???????? lv12, Missingno, Drop Box, and Bad Egg all rank up as fantastic. Those are actually some of the very, very few "Pokemon Gaming" art pieces I've ever seen lol.

Tabor, you've surprised me. When you posted your blog I got so excited inside and was so hoping you'd post a gallery sometime. Let me just say, you lived up to every expectation. These are so much fun and so well executed, it's hard not to laugh a little. Please post more! :D

I don't know why it took me this long to think of a response, but thanks for the feedback :) I never really enjoyed drawing and I always viewed my "art" as really bad, but Miiverse has changed all of that. It seems digital art is more for me than any other style.

That being said, I do have to say that I leave my drawings all sketchy as I feel like that's a kind of style I enjoy drawing the most. I can enjoy looking at art that is "clean" and appreciate it, but I just don't feel like that's the kind of thing for me.

I'm on break at the moment so I'll probably post a lot more than I will after the semester starts again hehe.


Do I make any sense here? (ಠ_ಠ)
