Pokemon Centers are funded by a committee of individuals dedicated to the health and safety of Pokemon world wide. The Committee is made up of about 30,000 people, each with a common vision of taking care of the sick, injured, and elderly Pokemon.

In addition to Pokemon Centers, the committee also sponsors Pokemon Hotels, Resorts, and Rescue centers. At this point in time, you could call the entire institution one of the largest in the world.

How do they make their money, you ask? A lot of these people have day-jobs and donate what they can. Others are embedded into pharmaceutical manufacturers, which make potions, revives, and status heals. Others are simply volunteering, such as the Joy family.

The Committee is also subsidized by governments all over the world. Governments usually will have an entire department dedicate to Pokemon health and Pokemon trainers. Some think it's ideal, some don't. Either way, with the world at peace, its a truly wonderful place to live.

In most towns, individuals get to choose between three starter Pokemon native to the local region. My town, however, does it a little bit different and offers three different starters. They are ________________________, _________________________, and ______________________.

Crystal Onix is actually made of a titanium alloy that is very strong. This alloy was created in a lab for the military, but a freak accident caused it to be absorbed into an Onix egg. When the egg hatched, the lab technicians noticed that the baby Onix had taken on the new alloy for its composition.

The Onix wasn't released into the wild, however, because it was still someone's egg. But, it also wasn't released back to the owner. This caused a lot of internal controversy at the lab, and resulted in some emotional chaos.

One thing lead to another, and soon there was an Onix-sized hole in the side of the building. It was kind of cool, actually, because you could see all the way into the lab. It was like a cut out!

The trainer ended up losing his job and came under a lot of scrutiny over the years. This didn't matter to him, though, because his beloved Onix was safe. Many speculate that he did release the Onix into the wild, but others realize that he found the perfect hiding place.

Today, the Onix is but a myth. The military quietly covered up the project, and the lab was quietly rebuilt, almost overnight. No one knows what happened to the trainer and no one has seen him or the Onix in several years, until today.

Wow, my _______________ is my favorite Pokemon and is so special to me!

In lieu of a Pikachu, it was considered that stealing a Torchic might be better, but this was decided against due to there being a ban on Torchic stealing activities. The problem wasn't with the Torchics, but with the people stealing them. Now you may think "Oh they were just mishandling them, right?" WRONG!

So three years ago, a Team Rocket member by the name of Jacob ended up trying to steal a Torchic. Unfortunately, he didn't follow the proper guidelines for handling a trainer's Torchic, so the entire organization got fined. (Ironically, they weren't on the hook for the actual stealing part. Bribery? Conspiracy? You decide.)

Anyways, a year later, Jacob tried again, but this time spent an immense amount of money trying to provide for the comfort of 1 Torchic. The organization ended up losing money on the entire endeavor. Jacob wasn't really punished for this, but he was purposely passed up for several promotions. Poor him.

In an attempt to redeem himself, Jacob legally obtained a Torchic of his own and raised it to become a very handsome Blaziken. Innocent enough, right? WRONG AGAIN! He got power hungry. He was upset that his previous calamities costed him numerous job opportunities, and he wanted revenge.

6 months later, he got that revenge. He ended up destroying 3 Team Rocket facities and costing the company millions. All of this was against the law, and very immoral. The Blaziken ended up releasing itself after Jacob went to prison for a 38 year sentence. Team Rocket recovered, don't worry, but they are still feeling this loss to this day..

Giovanni decided that, in an effort to increase profits and restore the organization to it's previous success, that he would turn Team Rocket into a chartiable organization that makes sweaters for wild Pokemon in Kanto. They will knock on your door to ask for money more than a Jehova's Witness or Girl Scout, however.
