Love in the Clouds!

Now then finally. Time for a proper update. Yay!


- Beginning of a journey.
- (That trainer pair is actually pretty accurate. I'm the EV-training and calculating trainer and he just invents things to go about in the game.)
- Went for a walk with mah new Chikorita.
- Oh my god these pidgeys everywhere! D8
- ...
- Anyhow, I found my way to Mr. Pokemon's house.
- Battled Rival on the way back.
- Was accused of treason... homicide.. no wait, just a stolen pokemon? Oh...
- Eventually was taught how to catch pokemon, so I did.
- I caught a Pidgey. Just for the sake of...
- ...sending it to the Pokewalker to gather Watts while I trained up Mamba. Yes, that's her name.
- A good two hours later Pidgey returned to unlock bunch of routes. Yay! Hoenn Field.
- ... Not much to update on this part since I kept having to reset the Pokewalker, because it kept picking the wrong seed for pokemon.

- Later on...
- A skitty arrived! 8O
- Mamba and I welcomed the adorable kitten to the team and began to train her up. <3
- Sir Pidgey was freed after this. *waves to him*

- We finally arrived to Violet City and went to explore the Sprout Tower.
- So many ghosties!
- Finally at the top the Elder gave HM01 and we Escape Roped away.
- Went to Ruins of Alph for a bit and then on the Route 32 to run about in the grass.
- A mareep pounced on Skitty and promptly fell in love to Attract.
- Trained up a bit more to even up the level gap before calling it a night.

Update #2!

Decided that Corsola is my Attraction Pokemon and Miltank is my Pink Pokemon. Other than that no change.

- Caught Nidoran ♂. Named him Arthur.
- Did the Bug Catching contest for the Sun Stone
- Arthur evolved into Nidorino.
- Caught Corsola. Named her Sunny.
- Caught Sunkern. Named her Florida.
- Caught Miltank. Named her Bessie.
- Trained a little, beat Silver and Kimono Girls, then went and defeated Morty (leading with Bessie, of course)
- Ty Lee evolved into a Magmar.
- Now I'm at Cianwood City training for Chuck. Might go back to the Ruins of Alph so I can pick up the Moon Stone to evolve Arthur with.

Ahh I was going to wait until my boyfriend got online to ask him about his favorite Pokemon but I just need to sign up for this! <3; Gotta make up for the fact that I never finished Stocking Stuffer either, yay for being stuck on Norman. This time it'll be different!

The Present - Chikorita
I was originally going to have Eevee (or Mystery Egg) as the Gift and have Chikorita as the flower but I want to use a Pokemon that I haven't really used before, which is why my Flower Pokemon will probably be Vileplume or Bellossom.

The Attraction - Pidgey
Since there are no Pokemon in GSC that learn Attract by level up, I thought I'd take the opportunity to use a decent Flyer!

The Valentine - Seadra
So I asked my good friend what her favorite Pokemon was, which she gave me two answers; Growlithe or Seadra and since I prefer Seadra out of the two, I went with it!

The Duo - Jynx
Although there is a good few to choose from, out of them all I think Jynx is one of the Pokemon I haven't really used much so it would be nice to give her a try!

The Pink - Miltank
This one was easy for me, being one of the main Pink Pokemon for Johto (.. Whitney) plus I'm quite a fan of Miltank, what better Pokemon to use eh?

The Flower - Bellossom
After mulling it over, I'm going to use Bellossom. I've actually never used this Pokemon before and despite already using Vileplume in Fire Red I thought it would fit well in my current team!

It seems like my team is pretty heavily Johto based which is suitable since I'll be playing through Johto.

Wow, there were a lot of posts today. I spent way too long looking for a Nidoran F in the wrong place today, or else i would likely have been in Cerulean by now. -_-

I caught a Cleffa (I want that Magical Leaf), and I'm now currently grinding levels for it. I'll post a full update after I defeat Gardenia.

UPDATE 2!​

-Searched B2F for a Clefairy, and after like 30 minutes, I ran across a Level 12 Female, caught her and named her Pixie (The Pink).
-Trained in and cleared Mt. Moon and while clearing it, Bruteroot evolved!
-Taught Mazz Mega Punch
-Defeated Manuel and Nikki evolved!
-Cleared all trainers above Cerulean City
-Got Dig
-Beat Misty
-Saved!

Pretty sure I'm giving the Moon Stone I found to Nikki but haven't yet...probably will in a bit.


I made a bet with Mazz (the person in real life) about who would beat the 2nd Gym (because Mazz is at the 2nd Gym in her Emerald game that she's playing right now). I won, Misty is too easy, just Vine Whip.

Update #2


- Alright, went to challenge Falkner.
- and it was way too easy with Merri the Mareep
- We cleared our way through Union cave with very little trouble because of Mamba. <3
- Mayu the Skitty spent most of her time being finicky and luring out pokemon for switch training.

- Eventually we arrived to Azalea Town and witnessed Team R being douches all over the place.
- Obviously we couldn't let that happen so we went to tell on them to Kurt.
- ...
- Okay, fine we had to help the old man out in Slowpoke Well
- Proton was trying to make us switch sides rather effectively, but Merri put an end to that

- Well since we were fairly high leveled already the gym didn't take too long after that.
- Merri and Mayu did most of the work, Scyther being only minor annoyance
- And then obviously HE shows up... Mamba put him in his place. >8(

- After the tedious Farfetch'd side quest and few Headbutt teachings later...
- ...this took actually almost 30 minutes to get through the forest, because every third step an Oddish wanted to say "hi!"
- ...We finally managed to get to Goldenrod City! Aw yeah!
- Well we skipped through the city to Route 35 to find out next team mate!

- Markov the Nidoran joined our team after a bit of search
- Back tracked all the way to Route 34 to battle all the trainers there
- Decided to call it a night after getting everyone to an even level


Markov is still a Nidoran for a reason...

Next up: Radio Card, Whitney, Pokethlon, National park and Ecruteak... and final two team members will appear! 8O

Update #3 - Not a big update but considering how far I still got might as wel

- Went to Lighthouse for training
- Went to Ruins of Alph to pick up the Moon Stone there.
- More Training. Arthur evolved into Nidoking via Moon Stone.
- Went and beat Chuck. Bessie took out his Primeape and Thom took out his Poliwrath.
- Surfed back to Olivine after evolving Florida into Sunflora.
- Defeated Jasmine. Bessie beat her first Magnemite and Ty Lee beat her second Magnemite and her Steelix.
- Marched on over to the Lake of Rage where I then beat the Red Gyarados for the experience. Just finished speaking to Lance so I'll be on my way to the secret Rocket base.

-Picked Piplup to ensure my rival would have Turtwig
-Did a bunch of early game stuff so I could trade
-Traded over my VALENTINE Pokemon: a Charmander named Tyrant!
-Leveled him up a little bit and decided to go hunting for my next team member
-Got lucky on my first try and found a Modest Budew which I named Lorenza. Flower Pokemon found!
-Currently leveling them up for Roark and dealing with a temperamental Charmeleon who won't listen to me until I get the badge (sounds familiar huh!?!?!?!) >:<
-Tyrant evolved in the Oreburgh Mines against a miner!
-Swept Roark without losing a Pokemon with Lorenza alone!
