Anyone else watch Parks and Recreation? What are your thoughts on the show, and what's your favorite episode? (and why)

Which was your favorite season, and what do you think will happen in the fourth? (which the show was just barely renewed for)
Who's your favorite character?

Just Talk About Parks And Recreation! :]

Anne Perkins!

I love Parks and Rec. Someday I will be as awesome and manly as Ron Swanson. As far as favorite episodes go... I guess the hunting episode, because oh my god it was awesome dude. Ron Swanson is obviously my favorite character. As far as what happens next? I dunno, I've not finished season 3 yet. :/

Literally the best show on NBC.

That title quote made me so unbelievably happy when reading it for the first time. Just to know that there are Parks fans on PC has made me extraordinarily happy. So, yes, I do love the show. My favourite episodes are the ones written by Amy Poehler ('Telethon', 'The Fight' and 'The Debate' - also directed by her) and yet my favourite character is actually Anne Perkins. Normally I'm not a big fan of the straightmen/women in comedies, but Anne's deadpan charm is a breath of fresh air in Pawnee, where craziness runs supreme!

^^ I love all those episodes. I have so many favorites though, (pretty much all of seasons 2-4) I love the Comeback kid, when they keep slipping and the music keeps starting up? The best.

Anne Perkins is the best, though I think I like how the characters interact with her the most. I love how Leslie always compliments her a billion times before insulting her, how Tom always tries to put the moves on her, C+how Chris addresses her, how April/Ron treat her... it's awesome.

Speaking of April, she's up there as one of my favorites. This clip as to why she's my favorite... :D

I like this show, I do! I just haven't watched the episodes chronologically, or even in any remote sense of order :( I think the last one I watched in full was Li'l Sebastian, and that aired a couple of weeks ago here in NZ, whereas in America it was aired nearly a year and a half ago, lol. I love Amy Poehler so much, though. She is just amazing.

YES :D Pawnee: It is now safe to live here!

This is definitely one of my favorite shows; it took some getting into the first season, but it really hit its stride with seasons 2, 3 and 4. I'm a big fan of Ben and Leslie, I think they have a great dynamic. I don't think there are any characters I'm not fond of, everyone plays a good role in the ensemble. My favorite episodes off the top of my head are: the one with the fancy party, the model U.N. (WHAT ARE YOU GONNA DO WITHOUT TIDES, PERU?!), Jerry's painting, and there were a few from this season but I'm blanking on them -_-.

I know a lot of my friends who enjoy the show really didn't like the election arc and thought it was a bit much after a while. I, on the other hand, really liked it! It may be because I have an interest in politics and campaigns but I thought it was a good way for the show to go. Plus, we got to see Jen and Bobby Newport destroy Leslie during the campaign and we got to see perfect Leslie lose some fights. While I love Leslie, I thought it was more realistic.

I can babble for much longer, but this will do for now :)

I was told that the first season was so bad that I didn't even watch it. Just jumped into the second season and was completely fine, for the most part. When I've tried to get people onto the show, I've told people to do the same, and it's mostly worked out fine for them.

Yeah, I tell my friends that too that are interested in watching it. Luckily, the first season only really covers what the parks department does and gets a basic foundation for the relationships/dynamics between the characters. Nothing big happens until season 2 anyway and they explain everything for the viewer again.

I actually didn't watch the show for a year or two because I saw the first episode. I thought, "Oh, this is just a really lame/bad The Office copy-cat, goodbye." But then I saw a couple of episodes and found true love.

I love their war with the raccoons. "They have their side of the town and we have ours."
